We look at the way boys like 12 year old Madin - who already has an agent and sponsor - are turned into commodities to be packaged and traded. Why do parents let this happen to their kids - I ask myself.
What does any of this have to do with the world-cup? were was all this values with Brazil and South Africa??? factually the previous organisers were far from exemplary. This is just hypocrisy and lots of jealousy. I'm not a fan of this game where human run after a ball in a green field. Also not fan of the most crooked, lying and corrupt civilisation that is the west.
@@gameZA40 I get that and that is totally legitimate. But you're right - a family that is dirt poor will agree to anything. It's the agents just totally taking advantage of that. .
No different than a child actor or a singer starting off. Look how f up they became. Exploited by their parents leading them to depression and substance abuse.
There's actually a very good book entitled the 40 million dollars slave which has to do with sports and athletes and binding contracts and so many other things considered. It's a very great and educational book highly recommended for those sports fans everywhere
This documentary is basically showing a kids life being ruined...how can you not end up being burnt out by the end of it all. At least this kid seems to have good parents that are genuinely concerned about their child's well-being.
He's clearly not ready to be away from home and deal with the level of scrutiny and media attention that the Barcelona move would have required. And he was sitting right there when his parents negotiated a fee with the agent. Is it any wonder that he was nervous and struggling during the trial?
I 100% agree. Even University level sports (D1) in the USA are a cancer, as it feels like they "own" you if you're on a scholarship and there are many rules to follow, some make no sense at all. I realized this as a D1 volleyball player in the USA and quit the team after my sophomore year. That was one of the best choices I made at that point in life, as I was so lost and didn't even know myself or what I enjoyed because so much of my time was forced to be spent playing a sport when I didn't have any chance to continue playing after Uni.
Except a lot of the time, a lot of fans do see the problems. People just act ineffectively or, when they do act with effect, the powers that be find more subtle ways of achieving the same results
Only downside of football once ur leg gets f up and ur lazy from injury and overconfident is the downfall. So many players had potential at an early age for sure.
How much control does a player have in signing to the club of their choice if a third party company owns part of the financial rights and has a vested interest in maximizing its ROI? Where is the players' union in this?
You know soccer is filled with sociopaths. There are smart kids who actually want to grow and their is traumatic events where these kids actually want to do this.
What Valenciannes did to Sanchez is not fair. Loan him and sign him straight away just to reduce his salary from €75k to €14k, even though he was essential player for the Club. But this is how it works, Profit Profit and Profit.
The greatest loser in this new kind of hidden slavery, is the continued down-grading of football itself. It have become an individualized sport, changing the entire structure of the sport. When the format was 3-2-5, an attack was with 8 players and they all touched the ball with "diagonal" passes, always according to strategy. When long balls came in play and cornering for "the cross" a general practice, the "Quality" of a player vanished. The "talent hunters" have made the sport "A Clowns Show", the ruination of a sport.
Really I was there 3 months ago they seem to love football and are insanely talented I've never seen 8 year old kids as talented as that. Where are you implying aren't interested?
Is this news? How about you focus on what really matters to this planet instead of always diverting the world to your own interests of looking for likes, follows and subscribers? How different are you media from our sports?

NARCISSISTS
That former football agent on Mangala's case running away was hilarious 😂😂😂
This is top level reporting. Nice work 🤩
9:37 those contract terms are criminal. I don't even see the value that the agent provides to a child that young.
@6:35 he refers to the kids as property!... smh
Why I never questioned myself this , selling a player and buying one like goods 🤯
Money corrupts everything.
This episode, and the thumbnail, perfectly illustrates what the point of “Big Man Japan” movie is all about!

Thanks for sharing bro. I'll buy it.
I had no idea this went on in countries outside of France, Britain in Europe. This is horribly unethical, imo, whether adults or children.

I dont know ab the parents though
Wherever there is power, greed, and money, there is corruption
Seems to be a sound drop out at around 21:46?
Sports should be taught to children to encourage team work and working through adversity. Anything beyond that is a cancer to schools and society ✌

ENDEVR team many things exposed about Football.
So thank you.
every global sport is rigged, the house always wins so this type of behavior is not shocking
Meanwhile sports fans: no we don't see anything wrong 👀

That escalated quickly. At 7:00 Madin's investor is plugging the heavy equipment he leases. It's all a commercial enterprise.
Insightful documentary
And if you can, kindly also try an African documentary pls!! Thanks always a fan

Excuses, excuses excuses. Money corrupts these easily corruptible sociopaths.

Sure, and you’re just so much smarter than everyone else, right Chris?
Good stuff
And due to all these reasons, I don't even like to watch these sports, I rather like to play myself. Playing is better than watching any day.

He played only 3 games for Toulon U19s between 12/2019-07/2020.

When I saw Beyoncé in Montauk, I knew even big names are commodities for money. That’s what the whole world runs on.
What is the name of the french journalist leading the investigation?

The boy is only 11 he already has an agent and he maybe signed to Barcelona this is a blessing
Yup, making money for his agent n at the same time fullfilling his dream to become a star in football. Fair enough, i guess
Imagine the profits when parents CRISPR their babies and sign them up from birth 🤑🤑🤑
We are cattle.
