These videos are absolutely incredible. Like truly you have helped me grasp the concept of toning more so than I was even able to in cosmetology school. It’s so helpful to see examples like this. Thank you thank you thank youuuu
Could you please offer any guidance on toning in brown shades over natural gray root growth of about 5 in.. with a very faded permanent hair color on the last 12 in that used to be a level 4 and now is a brownish orangish reddish.. thank you so much.. I'd like to just bring back some color without permanent hair color and kind of blend it all together while I'm still growing out the gray and it's more salt and pepper but more salty on the crown and pepper in the back
I can see the following as good mix for balayage for dark hair 8C, 7GB, 7NW, 6N, 6GI, 6GW, 6NA. I can see folks doing low lights with them too. Carmel Balayage would look great on dark hair clients.
What shade should I use to tone brunette hair that looks super orange? I would like to achieve a cool/ashy but not grey undertone. The results videos are not that clear. Also will this need maintenance at all, will it lift color?
My hair is a level 8/9g, and I have white roots. I used 5na to cover my roots hoping to cover and cool my hair down. Can you please explain white my roots are now silver/blue??? I was expecting a neutal/ash Burnette shade on my roots and instead it is BLUE!? HELP!! Previously I tried 6n to cover my white roots, and found it to be extremely warm for an "n" shade, so I dropped it down a level to 5na, and my roots are now BLUE! What would you recommend for coloring gray/white roots on my hair color? I'm trying to avoid permanent color to preserve the integrity if my hair becomes I will be bleaching/highlighting in once it grows out. I just want to shade my roots. Please HELP! 🙏
If your roots are grey you need a permanent color product because the shades eq works on the surface of the hair and as grey hair don't have melanin pigments anymore you are only adding a layer of red/purple/blue etc and you may need to prep the hair before color process depending on the shade level you wish 😊
Hi! So sorry for late response! If you’re 100% white at the root I would say using permanent color might be your best solution.. But the reason your roots turned blue was because the NAs are green and blue based. Since white hair has no pigment it will suck up whatever color you put on it. The hair needs to be filled if you are trying to be a level 5 natural brown. Do 1 toner to fill the hair with 8N 7NW. Rinse out. Then do a second toner using 5N. Maybe add 5M if you want it more cool! Hopefully that makes sense. Give it a try? Maybe you found something that has worked instead!
For the level 6 level 7 you should have used orange/yellow toned hair to begin with. The level 7 you toned already looked perfect so essentially you just polished a turd by toning already perfectly toned hair. You should next time definitely tone hair that actually needs toning to show what the toner really Does.
It’s not a toner, it’s a gloss. It won’t necessarily tone everything correctly the main point of the product is to add color and gloss, not neutralize it.

I believe this product does not work for greys

@Blendsations thank you!
The swatches you used you said are extensions. Can I order them separately or did those come with as extras with your extensions?

@@beefb0ss Some shades are designed to counteract unwanted undertones, so they can be used as toners.
I see a huge difference in the blondes. That rose quartz and blush😻
