I think 'Get Back' shows that they didn't hate each other, and I believe that had John lived all of the Beatles would have been working together on various projects for as long as they lived and worked. Maybe not often as 'The Beatles' but occasionally, with plenty of projects in between among the members.
In our lifetime perhaps but they'll be saying exactly the same thing about some new group a hundred years from now. And another a hundred after that. And on and on.
@@blackmore4 NO, there won't be. It's been more than 50 years since the Beatles disbanded and yet their music still outsells all of today's top artists. There are in fact exactly ZERO current music artists today having an influence on the entire world and that isn't likely to change as our problems continue to stack up. As I said before, the Beatles were exactly right for their time; it's questionable if many people will even bother with music in the future as things get worse.
As a hardcore Beatles fan, my sheer idealism, innocence, and hope always promised that The Beatles were going to get back together. And in essence, John, Paul, George and Ringo will reunite. In Rock And Roll Heaven...
There's no doubt in my mind. John, as stated, was on board with the Anthology project or 'Long and Winding Road', as it was referred to, at the time. It most likely would've gone down, by the mid to late '80s. For his planned world tour in '81, I wouldn't have been surprised, if a 'guest', came onstage, esp in either the USA or Britain, leg of said tour. It sucks, of course that John was taken from us. Wow, it's 41 years, today. We sure could've used him being around, all these years. Miss ya, Johnny. ✌😎
@@waynej2608 way I have envisioned the 81 tour would be a short tour down the east coast of North America in the fall of 81.... starting in Canada, and venues close enough to New York that John could travel back and forth to see Sean each morning (with probably a 3/4 night residency in New York).... then make way down to Miami to end the tour so they can stay in their Florida winter house, so he could recharge and plan for 82.... John will not have toured in 15 years, and Sean would be 5 and starting school, so I do not think he would jump straight in.... also it would be a John and Yoko co-headline tour (but I imagine Yoko would have probably pulled out of concerts after a few weeks, as 15 songs, with 8 being Johns and 7 being Yoko's, I doubt her voice would have been up for touring) and John would have ended it on his own for the final 3/4 shows before Yoko rejoins him for the finale. 82 get the follow up to Double Fantasy out (it would not have been Milk and Honey, and most of that album were songs recorded in the early stages of the DF sessions), then head out on a Asia and European tour (either a solo tour, or Yoko joining in here and there), with the big finale a concert in London (where at least one Beatle would have joined him on stage... most likely Paul)
Could you even imagine the magic of them just being in the same room together, let alone with instruments in their hands. It would all come flooding back and they would make unforced magic RIP John and George, I know you’re home now
i could only imagine how much bigger the Beatles would have been if they did reunite but unfortunately it didn't happen because of the idiot that murdered Lennon
I'm a lifelong Beatles fan but I'm glad they never did reunite. They left a perfect load of work. Tinkering with anything past its sell by date usually results in mediocrity.
I believe they would've gotten back together to do an album for sure but to play any live shows probably wouldn't have happened. It's possible that they would've done 1 or 2 huge shows but I'm sure that would be it. God, how I wish it would've happened!!!!!! That would be the reunion of all reunions!!!!!!
You know what would hurt? If they are not in Heaven. Elvis, Hendrix, Morrison, Janis, Kobain led sinful lives. Lennon was not a Christian. You have to give up your sinful lifestyle.

Had the Beatles got back together in the 1980s, that decade would have been very different music wise . Many would have stepped back and allowed them to take the lead as they followed
There is no doubt something would have happened in the 80s for the Beatles not only that but seeing what Julian did John would have been there working and helping him with his career that would have been awesome as well but all because of 1 sick deranged man that was all taken away such a shame
And John did do that in a parallel universe somewhere. John brought back the Beatles. It would be great if someone created a time machine that could take us to that world.
Anthology eventually came out in 1995, and this was the project that was on the table that would reunite John with the other Beatles. It was kept secret at the time of his death but I remember reading about it in Rolling Stone about a year after his death.
I know John Lennon would've been a major supporter or an equal partnership with Bob Geldof's live aid concert, I know the Beatles would've been the main headline act in the concert.
I doubt he would have, John was actually very critical of the Concert for Bangladesh afterwards as he felt George had now made it that the Beatles could only regroup if it was for charity, and why should they pick one over another…. Remember Paul only agreed to Live Aid at the very last moment.
@@clark82 John was critical because he knew George was no fool and didnt want yoko near the musical performance as she had no musical talent whatsoever so gave John hell for allowing George to do this!!
It’s true that because they never reunited, we are still here talking about them today. The fact that it never happened just adds another special layer of mystery and curiosity to their already supernatural story and leaves them still miles ahead of every other rock/pop band.
Getting George back in the fold was the greatest challenge. John waited as long as he did to even consider the question because he'd been away from music for nearly five years. Because the others work was prolific during John's sabbatical, he wanted to demonstrate his own musical worth and relevance before reassembling them, just to show they were working with the same old John.
@@LoneJedi you've got to remember that John was very insecure, so his wanting to show that he could still produce music that people wanted to hear was more about convincing himself that he was still relative and belonged with the others.
If John was able to reunite them, that would be the ultimate, I wish John was able what would have been ,but that psycho ruined everything took life for some wacko idea, he will pay for this with life in prison, this just upsets me to no end, John is my Favorite Forever
FBI probably programmed Chapman. Check out "The US vs. John Lennon" -- Hoover considered John Lennon the #1 target. They left him alone when he retired (and going through deportation issues) and the minute he comes back, he's murdered.
beatlesfest organization since 1974. They state that John is on board about the creation of the positive energy created by the beatles. Beatlemania showed John and the others the energy, felt during these shoes. I am sure John and Yoko one the beetle mania shows. Yoko gave the performer in beatlemania one of john's rickenbacker guitars after john's death.
John hated those fest's.... Mae Pang talks about it in her book that she was always trying to get John to go along, but he said they were pathetic, so Mae Pang went by herself, where she met a photographer who said he had known John during the Hamburg days, and had some original photos of John, and that was the photos used for the cover of the Rock and Roll album.... not sure if Johns attitude softened after that though.
can you imagine how incredible it was thar 4 men, with such incredible talent ,could come together and be the biggest group in history? I've always been amazed that so much talent could exist in s group with 4 guys from Liverpool.. it will never happen again in the history of music.
Had John lived, some sort of reunion would have been inevitable. I can imagine something less grandiose than a huge concert - more like the Threetles reunions at Friar Park.
They of course would have gotten back together,, For the money...for their egos? Maybe..but mostly for the MAGIC.. They had no idea that they would remain so popular!! It would have been great with bigger production... added players.. of course... One can only Imagine..
For me, their body of work stands alone. A masterpiece . I'm glad they never toured again. I think the only time it would have worked to play together again would be on Saturday Night Live when they were offered $3000. They were all very funny and this would have tied into that. No matter what the expectations or how well they did or did not do, it would be part of a skit, not to be taken that seriously......so we all could have fun and enjoy them. As far as them recording again? I'm sure that would have happened at one point. Maybe not as the Beatles, but the four of them would have wrote and played some type of music again. None of us but those four guys know what they went through....none of us, we can't imagine it, but they did and once time strips away all the legal BS they went though at the end, they were brothers, very close.
George had much bitterness so it probably would not have happened then. However, the bond between Paul & John is another matter - you can sometimes 'Get Back'!
George was not in a happy place in the early 80's.... he grew to hate the music industry (he record label told him that he needed to re-record his 1978 George Harrison album as it was not commercial enough) and then failed to promote it, then had a bout of writers block in the early 80's.... John would have probably tried to coax him out of it given the chance, but I think the two of them would probably have had to start from scratch again with each other.
@Picture Their Faces yeah, I think George maybe got a little bit to big headed in the early 70's, and by 74 things started to not go as well for him... my understanding of the 74 tour is that most people were actually warm to the idea (the changing of songs was something Dylan was doing, so hardly anything unusual) but a early Rolling Stone article killed it, but on the whole most the critics said apart from George's voice it was an enjoyable performances..... I think George did reach a point where he failed to read his audience and produced stuff that was only to his taste (apparently there is a full length movie of the concert, but Dhani has said it will not be released as George left instructions that everything in the archives was free to be used except the 74 tour stuff).... then you have all the issues in his personal life at time, and really his career never really got back on track until 87-ish.... if a Beatles reunion happened in 82/83 I suspect George would have went along initially, but probably have have walked out at some point again, or would have insisted that this was only an event that happened once in a blue moon, and not a full time reunion (ie cash in on the documentary, do the one off gig, do the bow's at the end of the show, and then a case of "in 10 years time again lads?")
@Picture Their Faces I think Ringo knew he was not the one to have the major say in if they get back together or not, hence he always said "no" in interviews (watch the 1978 Donahue interview, he is there to promote his new album and tv special, and nobody in the crowd is interested, and all the questions are about John and Paul, and you can see it in Ringo's face that it is annoying him).... I think Paul was smart enough in 81/82 to know that he lost John once, and that he has been given a second chance, and probably have kept his mouth shut.... more a case of would he have scrapped all the "Give My Regards to Broad Street" plans he had (given production started in 1982) for the sake of a Beatles reunion, or would he have tried to force that idea on the rest of the band ("hay, what about this idea of doing a sequal to Hard Days Night and Help! but with a 1980's twist?").... I suspect it would have been a case that all four went ahead with it, but chance Ringo's personal issues would have got in the way (he admits himself that from 1978 to 1988 he was "toxic" when it come to the music industry), but a case of could he have kept it together long enough until George got fed up and walked out and went off to record "Cloud 9".... i think we would have got one album out of them in the 1980's which would have been a over produced synth pop album which would have been a monster hit in terms of sales, but would probably consider the weakest/worst material..... ie think Queens/Elton John/Stones/Neil Young in the early-mid 80's)..... my understand on All Those Years Ago is that Ringo could not sing it in the key George wanted (and thought the Lyrics were poor.... I would love to see the original Lyrics), then after John was mudered, he removed Ringos vocal take, sung his own lyrics, then brought Paul in to do backing vocals (but the song is so over produced you can hardly hear him) as Paul happened to be visiting as he needed a guitar solo from George for Tug of War for a song.
@Picture Their Faces Ringo went as far as to calm the tension with his Early 1970 song…. Think it was John who said that no matter how much Him, Paul and George fight, if they got wind that Ringo was upset in some way, then that was enough to get them to patch things up. Agree, Johns suddenly interest in 74-75 is probably more down to him trying to raise his profile enough to get his Green Card case, as he did get his Green Card not long after and that was suddenly the end of all that talk, with nobody talking about a possible reunion again until 1980. Lennons “house husband” phase I put more down to a bout of writers block and depression (the 1979 diary tapes certainly sound like a man who is not in the right frame of mind), then a suddenly creative spurt in 1980 was enough to get him out of it, and probably that extra little push he needed that even got him thinking about getting the band back together. It would never have met expectations, with probably fleeting reunions in the 80’s, and maybe something in the early 90’s on the back of the Stones early 90’s success…. Something might have happened on the back of the death of Linda and George’s first cancer scare in 97, but doubt we would have got anything full time.
They would have played together again, perhaps in Live Aid, and definitely would have done the Anthology projet together, which would have been awesome (it is, but the void JOhn left was inmense). It's very obvious that the only thing that prevented a Beatles reunion was that a-hole who killed him.
This i believe. John never wanted to permanently shut the door to reunion. When George married Olivia & Paul & Ringo jammed with George at the reception, John was chuffed he wasn't invited. In 1978 when the 3 others traveled to NYC to sign the legal dissolution, John, living 3 blocks away, refused to show up. Deep down in his heart he didn't want to kill the Beatles finally.
in terms of hate between them all, it was really only 1970-71 that it ever got really heated.... all four had effectively made up with each other in one way or another by 72, but just a case of there would be minor spats (usually around George) after that (the 78 incident you mention actually took place in 75.... John refused to show up as "the stars were not right").... with George and John having a minor bust up in 1980 when John took offence to only getting a dozen mentions in a book George wrote (but would name drop every session musician he ever played with).... I think 81/82 was reaching the point where John wanted it the most (if John agreed to it, then it was happening)... even when Paul signed his new record deal in 1979 he insisted in a clause put in that he was free to work with the other Beatles on another record label...
Since Paul McCartney said that initially George was the first one to quit the band, coupled with the fact that George didn't like to tour, I doubt it very much.
Apparently Neil Aspinall was the brains behind the very initial idea of the Anthology, and produced a very rough cut that he sent to all the Beatles.... John apparently loved it so much that he would show it to any guests that came around to visit.... and looks like John got the ball rolling. I suspect he would have done more to promote Double Fantasy in early 1981 (few tv appearances/Saturday Night Live etc....), probably done a quick east coast of North America tour in the fall of 81 (starting in Canada and making way down to Florida to refresh for 1982, with a follow up album being released and then a Asia and Europe tour.... which would have probably ended in London with a guest appearance from at least one Beatle.... then work on the Anthology to get it out in 84/85.... maybe a Live Aid appearance, which would see the Beatles get the same bounce Queen had as a result.
They would have gotten back together several times at this point. Rock hall of fame, random awards, random shows. You know there would have in at least that capacity.
You know, as sad as I am about John Lennon’s life ending the way it did (let’s not talk about that, please), I’m still not 100% sure that John would have wanted to “Get Back” to where he once belonged with the rest of the Beatles. Believe it or not, John was more focused on trying to jumpstart his solo career once more. Plus, John was not that sentimental a person. In other words, he would’ve wanted you and me to just…”Let It Be.”
I thought there would be some actual conversation with Beatle members and not just an ordinary narrative that we’ve all heard before. It’s all good when talking about the Beatles.
What about Paul, Ringo, Julian, Sean + Dhanni getting together?🎶 It wouldn't be the same but I think it would be a nice tribute to John + George + a blessing to the fans. The peace of Christ be with you all. ❤🕇🔥
The Beatles will always be the greatest band, that ever will be or was. With over five hundred million records sold. Second was Elvis with 157 million sold.
But like back in those days. You had to buy the album of you favorite band in stores. Those numbers are very accurate . Even going back in the 50's and 60's. But with the internet in the 90's throughout today. People stealing music downloading for free. I just think since the internet. Just hard to get a accurate sales report since. I couldn't imagine the report. If you HAD HAD to walk in your local music store and buy a album today .Like the population today.
This always makes me sad. What if John had lived? What would have been if the two had gotten the band back together to compose like in the early days? Beatles II 💜😢
I can see, if all 4 were alive, getting together in a studio somewhere. They all did stuff on Ringo's album, but not at the same time. They could have recorded with each other , but all four together ? That was always on my " wish list !"
The Beatles appear to be artistically satisfied as a group by the end of Abbey Road...their fans had already been treated to their unique sound and naturally they were all going in various directions into the unknowns of the 70's
Paul, George and Ringo have been reunited and also John, Ringo and George but still not four of them in one. We could have seen them together if John didn't get murdered by that bastard Chapman.
If John and George were still with us, I think The Beatles would have reunited for the odd concert. They may have appeared occasionally for benefit concerts such as Live Aid in 1985. It's highly unlikely that they would have played another world tour.
You have it from John himself, to prove they'd have gotten together again somehow for some reason. John was evolving, when he died, still trying to process it all. Can't imagine how hard it must have to be John Lennon.
I like to imagine what would the Beatles be like if they did come together to make a new album. Thing is, George. He didn't really want to be around Paul. Maybe it could've been better by then.
Sooooo sad ,they are wonderful ,beyond amazing ,glad John made "peace" with the rest of the boys.. .I miss him and George ....the music they would have made, So grateful we all have The Beatles music that we FO have both as the magnificent band weall kno and love but as unique and talented individuals!!.That fateful day is approaching, wish I could be with the candles and ?! YOKO on Dec. 8 the ,but those nasty vaccine passports and lack of money prevent me.R.I.p.John, rest in peace George, peace and love all Beatles fans ... And a happy Christmas to all war is over hopefully
I saw an article...I thought it was an interview and I thought it was in the mid-70's were John absolutely did reference the Long and Winding Road project and said they would probably get together at that point point and do music for the project. Whether it it was a concert--they all seemed very skittish about a having to endure the hysteria that would surely occur at a Beatles reunionn concert and their lack of confidence (unbelievably) that it could possibly meet the world's expectations.
John not receiving those fatal shots, or even surviving them, is probably the biggest 'what if' in rock history. With the butterfly effect in mind, George might even not have contracted cancer and the four of them would still be around and kickin' today. That said, even if they had gone on to make new music during the 80's and onward, I highly doubt they would ever have come close to their glory days of the 60's, if all the other legacy bands from way back when are anything to go by regarding their more recent endeavours.
I believe they would've reunited, definitely. The Beatles Where definitely top rock - n- roll band of the 1960's.Even Bob Dylan came back.He was the best muscian of the 1960's.He edged the Beatles out slightly.Enough about him. But,this is about the Beatles.I honestly believe after 10 years apart. When the early 1980's rolled in they where ready. They did some talking, some playing &some more talking. All through the 1970's.Getting ready for the 1980's & how the Beatles would fit in with the bands of the 1980's.They knew no matter what they would be it was going to be a tremendous smash..They where going to do it in 1982 or 83.That way they could get a feel for how they where going to approach they're new album.everything I wrote is true.
I love these whispery, foreign accented narrated pieces that no one can quite understand or hear clearly that claim that the Beatles "were on the verge of getting together"
Nobody remembers "A toot and a snore in74" ? J and P 's last true recording together. If Lennon had stayed with May Pang they definitely would have gotten back together for something. I doubt more than maybe an album and Live Aid or similar but who really knows?
I’m feel they would have reunited at some point for some kind of special. I would have at least expected a performance when they got inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. But its a fun what If for sure.
He might have had plans, but I'm pretty sure George would have been difficult to wrangle. George at 2:44, translation "If Paul's not such a prick I might think about it."
It would have been nice to see the four of them together just talking about how each of them remembered there time together especially the early day's when they had to work so many long hours playing in dive bars and staying in the same room and even as there popularity grew they where incarcerated together only having each other to depend on I don't think that a tour or even playing together in front of and audience would have worked out to many people's hopes would be so high that once it was done even if it was awesome witch I think it would be the mystery would be over if they went into a studio with new songs and released it under and assumed name and let the music speak for itself that would be cool
I believe it would have happened, Human instinct. As people get older, they crave the past and what was. No matter if you have money or not.It definitely would have happened.
Once Paul "sued" the rest of the Beatles, that pretty well ended their chances of getting back, (Get Back) together again, just on morality's sake, no matter how much Paul had wanted it.
The others admited that Paul had been right about Klien and sueing them saved the company . A social reunion would had to have happened before a musical but now i guess we'll never know for sure
There is a interview from 73 where John says that Paul was right about Klien (he even shots down Yoko in the same interview when she tried to but in) and not long after that he full of praise for Paul…. It’s something of a urban myth that they hated each other right through the 70’s and all of them had effectively made up by the end of 1972…. Just a case of there would be minor spats between them after that (usually centred around George)…. If anything 1974/75 is probably the closest we got to a Beatles reunion and all 4 seemed to almost all be on the same page…. Just a case that things went cold again in 76…. I do believe that John was eager in 1980, but the days he gave his final 3 interviews he got out of bed the wrong side, as while not critical, he gets his little firing shots in (mainly at George)
Time waits for no one unfortunately. Or maybe it was meant to happen the way it did and that sucks @$$. When he said their wounds have healed really put a new light on my feelings
Yes, Greg Henley, do you know if the 5-DVD set of the unauthorized Beatles biography called The Long and Winding Road is the same content as the Anthology? I just finished watching that 5 part TLAWR on Amazon last night. I was surprised how excellent it was. The detail was extraordinary. Thanks, John Doe, for your question, too.
Possible they would have done more work together, but not a sure thing. What made the Beatles work so well was their live performance skill set, which was NOT maintained, due to doing those short sets of radio hits on multi-act shows, as well as no one paying attention to intelligent sound reinforcement. What the Beatles SHOULD have done is put together something resembling The Grateful Dead's "Wall Of Sound" PA with professional sound and road crews, and done multi-night stands at each venue, with long sets and no opening act(think Bruce Springsteen) so they could have done what they did best--make live music . The fact that performing acts now do all those things shows how entertainers learned from JPG&R making things difficult for themselves. Other problems like Brian Epstein's untimely death, the drug abuse, and the debauchery didn't help either, and by the time of the "rooftop concert", their ability to perform live was nearly gone. It's anyone's guess whether a reunion concert would have been a tour de force or an utter trainwreck.
Had they gotten back together it would have aired on Saturday Night Live. There was still the matter of the 3200.00 offer that was left on the table. Originally 3000.00, but Michaels came back on a 2nd time and offered another 200.00. In exchange for, "3 Beatle songs."
Sure they would have reunited at some point , for maybe Live aid or some other charity gig .The studio would have also been a big pull for them .Yep if they were still all alive today , then they would have certainly reunited , especially of course for the Anthology project 100%

It wasn't a matter of if, but when. It would have happened. The only thing that prevented it was one sick individual with a gun.
Im 100% sure they would have gotten back together sooner or later
LENNONO put a stop to that!
I think we would of seen a Beatles reunion in the 80s, if John Lennon had of lived
Could you even imagine the magic of them just being in the same room together, let alone with instruments in their hands. It would all come flooding back and they would make unforced magic
RIP John and George, I know you’re home now
i could only imagine how much bigger the Beatles would have been if they did reunite but unfortunately it didn't happen because of the idiot that murdered Lennon
and the availablity of firearms in America don't forget.
@@seltaeb9691 a gun did not kill Lennon. A mad man did, if he didn't have a gun, he could have used a knife.
Impossible to be as BIG as they were the first few years. It was seriously an explosion globally.
@@toms4442 Little tougher to stab someone four times in the right place than it is to pull a trigger.
I'm a lifelong Beatles fan but I'm glad they never did reunite. They left a perfect load of work. Tinkering with anything past its sell by date usually results in mediocrity.
All of the amazing things that would’ve happened if John weren’t murdered. 😢

That would be something, it really would be something
Even reunion on a chat show would have been amazing........
So hurt and how I wish all the good people in heaven were here today
You know what would hurt? If they are not in Heaven. Elvis, Hendrix, Morrison, Janis, Kobain led sinful lives. Lennon was not a Christian. You have to give up your sinful lifestyle.

I have no doubt the Beatles would have reunited had John lived.
Imagine The Beatles showing up at Live Aid. Would have surpassed Freddie Mercury's iconic performance.
@@harold3165I can imagine that happening. Queen were die hard fans of The Beatles, and Brian May has said that he wished he could've collaborated with John
2 of them reunion now in heaven
loved them but they were complete aitiest did not belive in god
Not only that but they helped bring a whole generation away from G-d and into eastern mysticism.
Anthology eventually came out in 1995, and this was the project that was on the table that would reunite John with the other Beatles. It was kept secret at the time of his death but I remember reading about it in Rolling Stone about a year after his death.
The Reunion would have been great.
John was 'on a roll' so to speak and like he said at the end, the wounds were healed.
Timing was perfect....

Beatles they are my idol in music they saved the world from 🥱😴 boredoms
I know John Lennon would've been a major supporter or an equal partnership with Bob Geldof's live aid concert, I know the Beatles would've been the main headline act in the concert.
And you know this how?
@@johnflanagan1397 wishfully thinking George hardly toured again

John never had to prove anything. He's fucking John Lennon!
Yeah
I’m watching this ten days after upload!
It's almost miraculous that these four guys met and discovered and nurtured their alchemy.
George had much bitterness so it probably would not have happened then. However, the bond between Paul & John is another matter - you can sometimes 'Get Back'!
If John was on board, then George would've come around, eventually.
In 1978 when the 3 others traveled to
NYC to sign the legal dissolution, John, living 3 blocks away, refused to show up. Deep down in his heart he didn't want to kill the Beatles finally.
Wow your words bring out old emotions of past days gone by. Peace and Harmony to you my old friend...
in terms of hate between them all, it was really only 1970-71 that it ever got really heated.... all four had effectively made up with each other in one way or another by 72, but just a case of there would be minor spats (usually around George) after that (the 78 incident you mention actually took place in 75....
AHH the what iffs from this are glorious!??
This is true. Paul said that they definitely would have gotten back together.
I have long wondered whether they would have reunited for live aid in '85...
I can't imagine what the cost of a ticket would be. Surely not the $8.00 it cost at Dodger Stadium
I thought there would be some actual conversation with Beatle members and not just an ordinary narrative that we’ve all heard before. It’s all good when talking about the Beatles.
This is so bittersweet. Imagine them playing together before george died. Imagine they were all still alive today.
What about Paul, Ringo, Julian, Sean + Dhanni getting together?🎶 It wouldn't be the same but I think it would be a nice tribute to John + George + a blessing to the fans. The peace of Christ be with you all.

Interesting. It would have been great to see them back together ❤

I can see, if all 4 were alive, getting together in a studio somewhere. They all did stuff on Ringo's album, but not at the same time. They could have recorded with each other , but all four together ? That was always on my " wish list !"
Great video!
The Beatles appear to be artistically satisfied as a group by the end of Abbey Road...their fans had already been treated to their unique sound and naturally they were all going in various directions into the unknowns of the 70's
it would have been cool to hear The Beatles to do some funk, reggae, disco, and maybe even "prog-rock"..

I think it was in the 80's McCartney said about a Beatles reunion if John had lived "You can't reheat a souffle
I’m sure they would have expanded the peace movement and been very vocal against the war machine World wide
What people say in court cases is rarely true...
That's a lovely statement. Was there an event to commemorate John in December?
If they had United, John and George would still be alive!
It's just a shame that will never know for certain and that it never happened while they were all four still alive.😢
Nobody remembers "A toot and a snore in74" ? J and P 's last true recording together. If Lennon had stayed with May Pang they definitely would have gotten back together for something. I doubt more than maybe an album and Live Aid or similar but who really knows?
I bought it a few days ago along with the 83CD set of Get back.
I’m feel they would have reunited at some point for some kind of special. I would have at least expected a performance when they got inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. But its a fun what If for sure.
They would have played LiveAid i reckon
And what 4 songs would they have chosen? Live Aid had a limit on all performers of 4 songs or 20 minutes.
I know a bit of a odd question but if they reunited were would it be held?
John was obviously moved by the offer made by NBC--specifically Loren Micheals-to reunite for an appearance on SNL for a whopping $3,000.
No matter if you have money or not.It definitely would have happened.
nicest god damn band i have ever seen
John said in his 1980 Playboy interview that was excited to get back the band and work on new songs.
What might have been!!
When they were approached to get the Beatles back together in the '70s, they gave up.
Time waits for no one unfortunately. Or maybe it was meant to happen the way it did and that sucks @$$. When he said their wounds have healed really put a new light on my feelings
I have a 5 DVD set of an unauthorised Beatles biography called the long and winding road I
How different is the content from the Anthology?
Yes, Greg Henley, do you know if the 5-DVD set of the unauthorized Beatles biography called The Long and Winding Road is the same content as the Anthology? I just finished watching that 5 part TLAWR on Amazon last night. I was surprised how excellent it was. The detail was extraordinary. Thanks, John Doe, for your question, too.
It has interviews with John Lennon's sister
Julian, Dahni, Paul, Ringo could do it to honor the legacy.
And Sean.
Nobody ever backed Paul like John and nobody ever backed John like Paul.
And if they wanted to give Ringo less it was up to them.
Sure they would have reunited at some point , for maybe Live aid or some other charity gig .The studio would have also been a big pull for them .Yep if they were still all alive today , then they would have certainly reunited , especially of course for the Anthology project 100%
