Snowman's Lost His Head is actually not too bad. The way it's coded, there's a single spot Mario needs to get to before the snowman, and he can touch that point before starting the thing and it'll roll successfully. I think you can watch Pannen's Seeing The Unseen to figure out exactly where the point is.
I’m curious if the Snowman Head would pass through the blocks and stay on path or ride the top of certain blocks causing its path to become glitched - sort of what happened with the Penguin Race. Thanks for clarifying this though!
10:15 - you weren’t confused, this was just the penguins’ revenge for all the years of players throwing them off the map. They secretly switched the entire level around before you arrived so you’d go the wrong way.
Mario: Okay Bowser let go... the princess? Un Bowser where are you? Bowser: I'm just as confused as you I'm stuck in these blocks that Steve left i don't even know where the princess is.
Bowser was probably just relieved that something freed him from the prison of boxes, he was probably just trying to get Mario out of there the only way he knew how, with the most questionable methods ever, straight up killing him, what a nice koopa
There's a mod called Nonstop that allows you to continue stages after getting stars. If it wouldn't break the game combined with this, he should use it to spare himself some misery, hahaha
@@UltraAryan10 not if you break the boxes. If you werent booted out of the level and could instead grab more stars, you would have a lot more walking space, rather than have to break the same box multiple times.
I actually just watched the Bobomb Battlefield video a couple of hours ago. I didn't read the title very clearly and thought it was a video covering the entire game.
For this challenge, I reccomend you modify the blocks a bit so rather than a large block spawning 64 small blocks, large blocks spawn 8 smaller blocks that are each 2x2x2 in terms of small blocks. This means breaking a big block only spawns 7 new entities rather than 63, but still would contain the same amount of blocks.
Dire Dire Docks don’t seem like it’s gonna be fun at all, if not a Great Wall in terms of being a roadblock to beating the game cuz of how everything about that level would work in Super Minecraft 64
It’s shorthand for radical, also known as square root. Radical 8 is somewhere between radical 4 (2) and radial 9 (3). Thus, it’s a non-integer, and you can’t cleanly break it into whole blocks for a square. 8 is, however, a perfect cube. I don’t think the original poster meant breaking the blocks into 8-square faces. What they seem to have been suggesting was a 2x2x2 = 8 block cube, with each of those cubes being further breakable into 2x2x2 minicubes when punched again. This would, in theory, make object management easier, as instead of punching one block to create 64 objects, you would create 8 objects that could be each broken down into 8 smaller objects.
@@ironcladking3427 8 is a perfect cube, and we’re working on squares rather than cubes. A 2x2x2 cube would be comprised of 8 units, and if each of those could break into smaller 2x2x2 mini cube units, it would be a more versatile version of creating one 64-cube area
Apparently for Mario lore, inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom were supposedly turned into blocks (which Mario does break a lot of normally). So assuming they could turn back into their original appearances, how many did Mario just murder in this alone?
The toads were turned into coin/power up blocks not the breakable brick blocks. Also I am rather sure that the whole toad turning into coin blocks thing has been retconned.
Man. Someone needs to pay Simpleflips to play this. I would love to watch a 16+ hour game of this. Or a Green Demon CHallenge like series of videos from him on this.
Hey, I love your videos! I have recently started to replay super Mario galaxy 2 and I noticed something strange that I wanted to point out. After you collect the first star you get brought to the Mario ship before I looks like a face. On that you can see a star floating beside the big luma. I was wondering what would happen if you could escape the dialogue and collect the star..
Sadly, once you get to Dire, Dire Docks, the run is going to end. You won’t be able to break the boxes underneath, hence getting to unlock bowser in the fire sea. :(
This is a pretty crazy challenge °-°; I wonder, would it help if you replaced Marios life-counter with a box-counter, so you know how many objects are loaded, so you don't have to worry about when it would be crashing?
Its only been 2 months. Damn feels way longer. Glad this continues. If you get 70stars with this then mad respects to you. Tho dire dire docks is impossible because you have to swim down twice

I'm not surprised that the game can crash when doing this. It overloads the RAM and it's values, and causes invalid data reads and writes. Good job playing through this mod!
