But that year make and model was the first ! Small work truck ever conceived 😊 can you guess I am a Ford man? In my youth I was a certified Ford mechanic and parts manager! Hello, just a quick hello from Belgium to tell you that I'm very admiring of everything you're doing, and we could even sing a song by an Italian singer called PAOLO CONTE, it's called ‘VIA CON TE’ and it's especially the chorus that you should listen to, especially for the Austin 10 rat, but for the other conversions too. I've already watched all your videos on UA-cam at least 5 times. Keep it up, it's so nice to watch people as creative as you. Every month I wait with great impatience for the new video you're going to put online. Anyway, good luck with your future projects and see you soon on youtube. Happy Sunday 8 September 2024 Thierry P.S. I'm sorry about my English, but it's what I have left from my studies more or less 55 years ago.👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome episode as always, the van will be great! Don't know if you follow many other channels but Scott at @coldwar motors here in Canada has French cars as well as model t content as well as his other old cars. Episode with model t racing recently. Looking forward to what happens next.
The Panhard PL 17 was a treat to see. Beautiful. The French had a flair for style. French curves, I call it. Love the way you muscled the engine into the Commer. There's more than one way to skin a a wing. As the say in the airplane business.
That Panhard is amazing! Love Jim’s music too. If you didn’t know, the inlet manifold for the Triumph 2000 was canted slightly to compensate for the engine being mounted at an angle. So if you fit the engine level, the carbs will sit at an angle and could mean the floats / fuel metering don’t work properly.
Fantastic Bryan! Love Neal’s enthusiasm for his model t and life in general…. Man your not afraid at cracking into projects mate haha, look forward to seeing them come to fruition cheers
Wow, that was one heck of a tour round the Swamp! My mother had an identical PL17 back in the late 60s 185 AXP. Great cars, if little temperamental. Sad to see the Rat go, but there's the Leaf and a Commer waiting for a resurrection... Can't wait to see what comes next!

Thanks for such an action packed video. Really liked the T and many people in the States think a Panhard is just a bar and don’t know it was a car, cheers!

My dad told me that when he was really young that my grandfather had a Ford Model T. There was a very steep hill that would cause fuel starvation. He said that grandpa would back up the hill in reverse.
Had one of those Commer vans once, about a year old. Used for carrying two motorcycles to race meetings. It was the most awkward , sluggish, gutless van we ever had, plus it handled like the proverbial camel. Soon went back to Ford Transits. But maybe a 6 cylinder motor would have made the difference.
