Great build, hearing your machinist talk about rallying a sunbeam reminded me of a 54 sunbeam talbot saloon I restored many years back, it had the original engine but the starter malfunctioned so I hand cranked it for a while, then the distributer fell apart and couldn't get parts so I put a bunch v6 with an automatic trans and drove it 3 years before selling it, loved that car wish I still had it

This one is turning out quite radical, in a traditional sort of way. Have you looked at the Steve Grimes modifieds? There are five of them in total. You may find them really cool. one of those cars has a Crosley engine.

Looks great! We do know one old timer in the Denver area who does that sort of small machining jobs, a feller named Schenck. He bored out the hub holes on old bolted wheel Plymouth hubs and pressed in studs for me for my Jeep rat rod project. Good you have Ted’s, those guys are worth their weight in gold

Love that quaint village that you live with a machinist thatlivers right down the street...You have some great friends..I am getting inspired for my 1928/GN Morgan build...I am still sourcing my own small machine shop so I can make nearly any parts needed...I will definitely start the series locating and getting the equipment up and running...Once they are working then the build shouldn't take long from what I am predicting...Super cool and super fast build so far Brian..I am going try and do some of the videos where there is a minimum of editing. I really like feeling like I am right there with you doing whatever...Thank you for sharing your life and build with all of us...-John

The Tri-State Swap Meet is this weekend at the National Western Complex where they have the Stock Show every January. Three buildings and a large basement full of junk. I always find stuff to build with to keep the projects moving

Great progress Bryan, really transforms it with the wires. A thought occurred to me ( again 😆) seeing the backplate bolts and stub axles. On the big Ducato/Partner vans, the rear stub axles are bolted on to the axle beam by just four bolts , no spigot or anything. They’re also the backplate/anchor bolts. Just made me think , your framing around the axle/stubs is never going to fail 😊😊

Cotters on Austin king pins have a crescent in them which pulls against king pin when tightened. Just loosen nut on cotter, hit end with hammer then king pin should pull out. Love the car and content 👍👍

Rear rims, also look all right. But the rear tyre looks a bit too much agricaltural. Not sure about the super narrow track in the back
