I love that the gameplay acted as a sort of update to the Vs. Fun Gang fangame, where the Fun Gang attacks similarly here to how Susie, Noelle, and Ralsei do. The attacks interacting with each other is such a cool feature.

@@sakurayuri3396 basically once you get Noelle in your party you can as the player give her orders to spam her ice attack a merciless freeze everyone since shes in your party she has no choice but to obey even if it means breaking puzzle in the need to proceed defeating enemies to proceed getting stronger together even when kris is knocked out and downed She can in fact still hear a creepy voice guiding her actions she also is forced into casting a spell she doesn't know known as snowgrave 200% tp fatal damage you must obtain a ring (noelles weapon type) that constantly hurts her hp and reduces ice attack cost making 200 100 at this routes end she kills berdly with snow grave and can't handle this anymore and decides to leave

I would have liked to see the scene of Kris lying on the ground instead of just seeing the animation of game over, even so it is somewhat macabre to see the bodies of susie, ralsei and noelle on the ground without life

Do love how the attacks work. From what I can gather... Susie has normal attacks If the axes are hit by Noelle's attacks then they freeze in place and shatter into Noelle attacks, the spears (?) just explode into Noelle attacks instead of Susie attacks. If hit by Ralsei's fire attacks then the axe will trail Ralsei fire projectiles and the spear (?) will explode into them. Ralsei's fire does destroy Noelle's ice and vice versa. Ralsei's heals are frozen and shattered by Noelle's ice attacks like the axes. It's just cool.
Not to mention that Kris never left Susie's side, even as the scene faded to the title. It really shows Kris' Bond with Susie, that Kris does not leave her side once the Player no longer had control.

When picking any _other_ choice but Susie, Kris is stated by Susie to "Look Confused" in a snarky manner... Yet when Kris picks _Susie,_ she looks utterly dumbfounded and is slightly blushing... Implying Kris said it with Conviction and without any sign of Confusion. The second and most prominent example... Is through the "Flavor Teas". Due to Kris being fairly apathetic to most emotions, the healing rate is very low for the "Own Teas"... Except for Susie, who provides the standard 120+ Health... Which for Kris, puts the bond with Susie, to be like Noelle's. Also, once again, party members provide what Kris is feeling upon drinking the Teas. Kris never really reacts to any of the Teas... Aside from Susie's... Which has Ralsei state "[Kris] seems into it"... While Susie is screaming at Kris to "STOP LOOKING AT ME!", implying Kris is giving her a Seductive look. Also, in Chapter one, against the Chaos King, Kris, without _any_ prompting from the Player, _immediately_ stepped in to protect Susie from his attack... And in Chapter two, Kris can ask for a hug from Susie, who gets completely flustered. The details are there. They're just hidden behind the "Correct Choices" and can be easily missed.
I personally think that there should be more emotion in the dialog and overall more dialog but I like the idea of the player being able to control people like puppets also that howl was interesting. Edit: Plus they should have reacted more to Ralsei dying they were just like "oh Ralsei just got stabbed and fucking died oh no... anyway"
I mean he's a pacifist so it makes sense lol. Even when he was fighting WITH Susie and(what's her name Noelle lol)he STILL occasionally heals u,EVEN when u're ACTIVELY hitting him in order to kill him. Also seeing Ralsei dead on the ground genuinely broke my heart;(. I mean I was fine with him getting converted,as he still gets to live,but seeing him dead...He's my favorite character,so it hit me hard...If I was Kris in that battle I would've hugged him and pet him instead of killing him XD(besides,he's a pacifist so he wouldn't kill me for doing so,unlike Susie lol). I also kinda found it hilarious how easy it was to convert Ralsei as opposed to Noelle and Susie. Ralsei was just like"Yes...Must obey...",and just joined ur team just like that,while Noelle put up a BIT more of a fight,and Susie,of course,the most,but fluffy little goat bro didn't even TRY to resist XD. Everything about this mod is great. One of my favourites is how the music changes. Before Ralsei and Noelle show up, the intro to vs. Susie plays. During the manipulation ending, allowed version of the song plays and the murdering ending is the same but way deeper. Incredible.
In reality when you wait too long on the spare button, Kris is gonna press it himself. Meaning he's trying to fight the player, not to mention every turn starts with the spare button selected, making the player sometimes misclick on what they want to do.
I really like the combined attacks mechanic here. Like if noelle hits susie's attack the axe freezes and explodes. Edit: i am sorry but what? 120 likes in a single day? And no replies? Sure.
I wonder if in ch3 or in a future chapter we will be able to somehow break the choices don't matter rule and use Kris to directly cause pain, rather than using someone else to do it for us ( _cough_ _cough_ Noelle _cough_ ) and "unlock" Kris' true power like how Noelle unlocked snowgrave in ch2, at the cost of Burghley
Not gonna lie ending 1 is very underwhelming. It feels really cheesy and anti climatic, especially with how you can mess up the dialogue and have it just be silly since it drags you along with it, as shown in the footage. Ending two, however, feels like you've actually done something extremely wrong. It genuinely feels unnerving after killing a party member, especially with snow building onto them. And Kris at the end just sitting there, contemplating what you've made them done as they are shrouded in darkness is not only actually an ending, but is also a genuinely horrifying moment that let's you think about what just happened.

Best thing about this fan game Kris emidiately starts the turn on SPARE and if we - the players do nothing the 3rd ending is triggered automatically. No other fan-game has this level of understanding of the source material only UT/DR fan games(mostly)

Deltarune is dark. Because you the player are taking over everyone's lives like Kris does not want to do certain things that you force Kris to do. It explains why Kris becomes edgy and throws us (the heart which is us) inside a cage. Kris wants to live her own life but then we take over her again and again. Instead of making our own life in the game. The game forces us to take over Kris life which is sad when you think about it
This may sound obvious or plain but I just want to say my opinion I think the way that kris would spread control to others (and what the rest of the fun gang would see behind kris) would be many big hands each holding a tower with those red and black strings each floating a bit down before arching into the sky to find their victim and wrap around every limb of their body to fully take control, each person having 2 towers attached and thus 2 hands using those towers. Everytime a new victim is gained a new set of hands and towers would slowly start to fade into reality as the victim becomes more and more submissive, the strings would have a mind of their own, so if a new mod related to this one where you instead play as Susie against kris, you would see the swarm of hands and towers and VERY much, strings, all floating in the air behind kris to show that kris ACTUALLY took over the whole town,if kris starts gaining control over a team mate like ralsei or noelle, strings would circle in the air above them with the following strings going up to symbolize a predator stalking its prey, while playing as Susie, you would need to attack these strings to keep them from connecting on the next turn. Keep in mind this is just my idea of how they would look like, okay bye!

I have gone through the files of the mod and it appears that the snow grave spell was added not as a functioning spell but as a display. Even if TP can reach above 100 MAX or if the spell cost is decreased by file editing means, I don't think something would happen, or it would just crash the mod.
Honestly, this Fangame could've been tons better if it had a second phase. Susie, truly honestly has free will. She doesn't have to struggle to fight against you, because she has the belief that she doesn't need anyone else, she'd come into realization, that she doesn't need anyone else, just like she has before. She can make her own choices, and she'd try anything to stop you from taking that away from her. Honestly, if I were to make suggestions to the creator, i'd say that she needs to have a second phase, her realizing that nobody else has what she has, and that basically nobody else is trying their hardest to achieve it. I could just imagine her Axe beginning to get that light green glow from when she was in the bad guy team, (with lancer) and her shoeing off her teeth with her deadly stance. Honestly, this fangame puts all that to shame, and thats the real shame.
I Actually love this it is amazingly well done honestly this would be a great route for the game to have seeing is how everyone does have some type of force that tells them what to do even if they don't know it which is coding of course cause it is a game but the main character Kris/the player has much more control then they do so the player being some type of puppeteer is a genius idea that is honestly better then Snowgrave cause this just feels right to me can't explain it
What if for the next weird route instead of having toriel frying napstablook or undyne. The player manipulates asgore and toriel to get back together as a sort of messed up pacifist route type of ending.
If you ask me, I think the 2nd ending is the true ending, because if you look at Vs. Fun Gang (another fanmade game by the same creator) its beginning starts exactly where 2nd ending left off at.
@@Karak-_- Well you can lower her HP but you can't kill her because she is immune to physical damage. So the only way to kill her is to get dark element. Now how you can get dark element? Simple just kill Ralsei first. Since he is a darkner and not immune to physical damage killing him will cover your sword with darkness and that's how you can kill Noelle.
I’d hate to be that guy but i think it’s a massive strategical issue when the one weak to physical damage doesn’t have the item that makes the wearer immune to physical damage
I honestly like the Betray kill. It's the same as a Sans route, aka you are killed for sparing, but... there's so much more meaning behind it. She doesn't want to do this... but she has to. This might be the one moment you got control back... and she has to take it. You'll understand.

It's nice how in the second ending, Kris kneels in respect for the trio. Like an honorable knight, they kneel in respect to a worthy opponent.

I mean I was fine with him getting converted,as he still gets to live,but seeing him dead...He's my favorite character,so it hit me hard...If I was Kris in that battle I would've hugged him and pet him instead of killing him XD(besides,he's a pacifist so he wouldn't kill me for doing so,unlike Susie lol).
I also kinda found it hilarious how easy it was to convert Ralsei as opposed to Noelle and Susie. Ralsei was just like"Yes...Must obey...",and just joined ur team just like that,while Noelle put up a BIT more of a fight,and Susie,of course,the most,but fluffy little goat bro didn't even TRY to resist XD. Idk why but I just find that hilarious lol(edit:I have come to realize that it was because he was so low on hp. I feel so bad that he had to get beat up to join ur team... Or maybe he didn't maybe u can just save up tp and use the other stronger converting ability on him idk lol. I'd do that instead of hurting fluffy little goat bro and Noelle lol;) )

Everything about this mod is great. One of my favourites is how the music changes. Before Ralsei and Noelle show up, the intro to vs. Susie plays. During the manipulation ending, allowed version of the song plays and the murdering ending is the same but way deeper. Incredible.

In reality when you wait too long on the spare button, Kris is gonna press it himself. Meaning he's trying to fight the player, not to mention every turn starts with the spare button selected, making the player sometimes misclick on what they want to do.

Not gonna lie ending 1 is very underwhelming. It feels really cheesy and anti climatic, especially with how you can mess up the dialogue and have it just be silly since it drags you along with it, as shown in the footage.
Ending two, however, feels like you've actually done something extremely wrong. It genuinely feels unnerving after killing a party member, especially with snow building onto them. And Kris at the end just sitting there, contemplating what you've made them done as they are shrouded in darkness is not only actually an ending, but is also a genuinely horrifying moment that let's you think about what just happened.
The fact the attacks can all mingle and mix on touch and interaction is so damn cool.

The way the attacks interact is amazing
I like how the attacks are not exaggerated or over the top like in other fangames
Deltarune is dark. Because you the player are taking over everyone's lives like Kris does not want to do certain things that you force Kris to do. It explains why Kris becomes edgy and throws us (the heart which is us) inside a cage. Kris wants to live her own life but then we take over her again and again. Instead of making our own life in the game. The game forces us to take over Kris life which is sad when you think about it
This may sound obvious or plain but I just want to say my opinion
I think the way that kris would spread control to others (and what the rest of the fun gang would see behind kris) would be many big hands each holding a tower with those red and black strings each floating a bit down before arching into the sky to find their victim and wrap around every limb of their body to fully take control, each person having 2 towers attached and thus 2 hands using those towers. Everytime a new victim is gained a new set of hands and towers would slowly start to fade into reality as the victim becomes more and more submissive, the strings would have a mind of their own, so if a new mod related to this one where you instead play as Susie against kris, you would see the swarm of hands and towers and VERY much, strings, all floating in the air behind kris to show that kris ACTUALLY took over the whole town,if kris starts gaining control over a team mate like ralsei or noelle, strings would circle in the air above them with the following strings going up to symbolize a predator stalking its prey, while playing as Susie, you would need to attack these strings to keep them from connecting on the next turn.
Keep in mind this is just my idea of how they would look like, okay bye!

I have gone through the files of the mod and it appears that the snow grave spell was added not as a functioning spell but as a display. Even if TP can reach above 100 MAX or if the spell cost is decreased by file editing means, I don't think something would happen, or it would just crash the mod.

Honestly, this Fangame could've been tons better if it had a second phase. Susie, truly honestly has free will. She doesn't have to struggle to fight against you, because she has the belief that she doesn't need anyone else, she'd come into realization, that she doesn't need anyone else, just like she has before. She can make her own choices, and she'd try anything to stop you from taking that away from her. Honestly, if I were to make suggestions to the creator, i'd say that she needs to have a second phase, her realizing that nobody else has what she has, and that basically nobody else is trying their hardest to achieve it. I could just imagine her Axe beginning to get that light green glow from when she was in the bad guy team, (with lancer) and her shoeing off her teeth with her deadly stance. Honestly, this fangame puts all that to shame, and thats the real shame.

@@Karak-_- Well you can lower her HP but you can't kill her because she is immune to physical damage. So the only way to kill her is to get dark element. Now how you can get dark element? Simple just kill Ralsei first. Since he is a darkner and not immune to physical damage killing him will cover your sword with darkness and that's how you can kill Noelle.
