"Is anything truly free?" That fucking chilled me. The mood and tone it's settled in makes it almost like Mike is concerned about Spamton at the same level Spamton is concerned about Mike.
6:52 "Mike knows where you live" This is both funny and quite true, because this Dark World is literally in Kris's house. 10:22 Oh wow that got creepy fast.
But Deltrarune implies that Kris and "you" are not the same entity, which means when Mike says he knows where you live, he does mean YOU. Not so funny anymore, huh?
I like the freedom question very much. The sudden music that sound like "Deal gone wrong",the way A option goes up,the fact that Mike says "that's right" not in his usual manner. Very cool. Also LISA:The Painful sounds were unexpected.
I like fan games like these. Ones that are well-made, and well-written. It's interesting to see all of these fan games based on the theories of the game.
Holy crap this is on a level with Toby's stuff! The idea of falling down a massive pit fighting is so dynamic. And the riff on the blue heart is cool (even if kinda of out of flavor ahh whatever it's fun) I dunno if this is anything like what Toby's planning but this is an awesome mod all on it's own!

The fact that you don't get anything on the weird route aside from the shadow crystal implies that you destroyed him too much to leave anything behind.
this is probably my favorite deltarune fangame out of them all. all of the personality is so well done, especially the part where it asks about freedom. it really shows the deepness of a rabbit hole which deltarune follows and how mike can even be comparable to spamton based on his “freedom”. it all just combines so well and i wouldn’t be surprised if at least half of the elements shown here were in the actual new chapter. (the not canon attack is pure gold, btw)
Everything about this mod is amazing! From the new mechanics to the attacks, it was all so creative and clever. Great mod! Edit: I just realized that 12:00 is an Earthbound reference.

If Spamton was equipped (as the Dealmaker) during this fight and he heard Mike mimic his "Deal or No Deal" dialogue, I think Kris would've had smoke coming out of his pocket.
I think Spamton mimicked HIM. Spamton was a salesman and Mike in this fangame was a gameshow host, so it would make more sense for it to come from Mike.

I really, really like the “turn up the juice, put on your shoes” because it’s a mirror of Spamtons [EX] ending dialogue if you defeat him Violently. So much detail was put into this! The only thing that could’ve been improved is including the Shadow mantle somehow since we know that’s how the chapter 3 secret boss will be defeated.
I have a feeling Mike is a main boss in this hypothetical chapter 3. If I’m correct, Jevil’s the one who foreshadows the Queen, who’s the main boss of Chapter 2.
I thought it was going to be crummy based on the sprites, but it's actually really well made. The attacks were surprisingly clever, even if the dialogue wasn't all that great. Especially the questionnaire.
I liked the sprites a lot, weird as the design it at least has flavor. my only problem with the dialog is that it seems to try too hard to be "spamton 2" instead of a fully fledged person.

Jesus this community continues to amaze me with spectacular fan made boss fights. Mike's voice, his dialogue and his actual fight are all awsome. This theme slaps fairly hard ( love the references to Big Shot )
This almost feels Toby style the only thing that doesn't make this Toby style is that we meet, fight, and get knowledge from the mysterious figure that actually knows shit and had tons of lore Oh and at the end there were 9 peices of Mike Kris attacked 10 times meaning Kris destroyed every bit of Mike and attacked something else that remained
This was the most creative Deltarune Fan battle I have ever seen And I LOVED all the music, the remix of the credit song and the final music when you reach the bottom of the pit
Finally i been waiting to play this fangame, i really love seeing how games like this are closer to the ones Toby Fox makes, i would love to see more of them being with CYK, Kristal engine or ones just like this.
I don’t think this fan game is anything near accurate. There’s a pretty high chance that “Mike” is going to be the main antagonist while the secret boss could be a parallel to Muffet and utilize her purple soul mode. Also Mike being a TV with a smile is too predictable and easy. I think the only accurate thing about this fan game is that Mike is a parallel to Mettaton which I think is likely since the King was a parallel to Asgore and the Queen is a parallel to Mettaton Ex. If the Dark Worlds are all parallels to Undertale levels in reverse then that means that Chapter 3’s Dark World could be a parallel to Hot Land.
Unsure if anyone has already mentioned this, but there is another route you can take in this mod that results in you being unable to win the battle completely, and intentionally softlocks you. If you use Check ACT 3 times, the game hints at you to try using Check when 'fate finds a way'. Doing this on the turn where the flavour text says 'Fate finds a way' will change the music and Mike starts talking about someone he met and offered him some things . He ends it off by saying nothing matters and that everything is just a game. The game then says 'a wave of uncertainty flows over Kris' and that you can no longer deal damage or induce spare. As it suggests, you can no longer FIGHT or use the Hodgepodge ACT to deal damage, nor can you use the Change channel ACT. Using Check again does nothing either, so you're softlocked unless you die.
Would be funny if at least like after 10 or 15 minutes of falling, Mike would say that they're almost near to the bottom, and unless you have stage fright or are a chicken, then you must prepare for the finale... YOUR FINALE. (and then we move into Michael's Murder House segment.)

I just find it really sad that Mike actually dies in both routes. In one he is remorseful for his actions and becomes Kris' ally with his last bit of power, and in the other he is enraged by Kris' actions and tries to kill them. Unlike Spamton and Jevil, Mike dies no matter what your actions are and no matter how hard you try to save him. Your choices really don't matter.
This actually roughly matches how I think the end of chapter 3 will go down. It normally ends with the character based on the TV (who we now know is called Tenna), but if you've completed the secret sidequest, then you'll be interrupted by Mike, the superboss.
Oh my god this fight is SO CREATIVE! I LOVE THIS COMMUNITY! It's even using the Fast forward and I'll assome later also the rewind function that premiered in that old alphys neo fight!
By the way, kris didnt get hit in the begining of the vid becouse they didnt have there soul couse mike punched it away. We even see it coming back to kris from above when starting the battle with mike.
The coolest thing I noticed is that if you hear close enough, you can hear spamton NEO’s theme, indicating that Mike and spamton NEO are connected to each other. Also, his eyes are pink and yellow, and the same for spamton. One last fact, Mike also talks about a deal maker. And spamton is a deal maker. Edit: I just noticed that Mike has flying heads, and spamton NEO also has flying heads.
I love the idea of the secret bosses referencing the bosses before them by playing a bit of their song and also referencing them in text by knowing each other (Ex: Spamton saying “THAT [CLOWN AROUND TOWN]” and referencing Jevil)
8:25 One time during this attack I saw Everyman as an audience member, pretty neat detail. Also cool how they used the pillers from the unused Spamton attacks
Tbh i don't think mike will be spamton 2 aka (he knows his a puppet) because in chapter 1 jevil had refrenced the queen the main "villain" in chapter 2 and queen didn't question anything about truly being free or being a puppet we only see her talk about the KNIGHT so mike won't talk about puppets and all that stuff since he will be not the secret boss

It wasn’t a mod, it was, quite literally, done from Scratch. That’s what they made it with. They did use some sprites though

I love the idea of the secret bosses referencing the bosses before them by playing a bit of their song and also referencing them in text by knowing each other (Ex: Spamton saying “THAT [CLOWN AROUND TOWN]” and referencing Jevil)

Tbh i don't think mike will be spamton 2 aka (he knows his a puppet) because in chapter 1 jevil had refrenced the queen the main "villain" in chapter 2 and queen didn't question anything about truly being free or being a puppet we only see her talk about the KNIGHT so mike won't talk about puppets and all that stuff since he will be not the secret boss
So even if you "Spare" him, you still kill him... That's kind of sad.😢
