What is the legality for an electric bike on registered mountain bike trails?

Those laws are being thrown out they now have electrically, assisted pedal bikes that make just as much power as mine. These trails are free use on crown land, not private property and open for all public.

@@Maxsmotoshop Max, you are completely wrong. BC's RSTBC's E-Bike policy applies to legal mountain bike trails, that are managed in case of the Fox Mountain Trails, in partnership with the local bike club. The policy allows for use of e- mountain bikes if: The engine must disengage when (a) the operator stops pedalling, (b) an accelerator controller is released, OR (c) a brake is applied. I could go into great detail here, but I'm just telling you, some trails might NOT be damaged by the use of eBikes, but that doesn't make it legal. I'm not sure what you are talking about, when you say: "Those laws are being thrown out". That's completely wrong. E-Bike policies started being implemented in 2019, AFTER e-bike became more and more popular and Recreations Sites and Trails and local bike clubs had to address the issue. E-bike policies are now, more and more, getting enforced and trail cams are becoming the norm. Often installed by local clubs and the evidence passed on to RSTBC. A trail like "Loose Moose" (as an example) costs $100K+ to construct and carries a high annual maintenance cost. Not every e-bike rider is responsible and stays off the trail in wet or damaging conditions. I'm a fan, I'll buy a Sur Ron in the coming future, but you are misleading your viewers with your statement. This is not legal, there's no grey area. Ask any trails specialist in the province. Luckily in your area there is no shortage of amazing riding areas, crown land and even trails that have no restrictions. Putting your content up, riding illegally on trails established under section 56 of the Forest and Range Practices Act, opens you up to prosecution by RSTBC. You yourself are offering the evidence against you.

I know I am not damaging the trail or the environment, so please pull the rod out of your ass

@@ThomasSchoen the best I can do is try and promote good behavior and using the trails properly but I will not be punished for other retards who can’t figure it out and are out there to destroy property and work but other people have done
