After 5 minutes I gave up. I can't understand what you are trying to say. Why don't you go to the point at the start? You are lost in words and only going around the bush. Myself, I can only say that Insta 360 X4 is very good.
I recently bought the Insta360 One RS exactly 3 days ago and I've been happy with the camera and the App. So maybe that's why there's mostly UA-cam videos, about that camera, that are 2 years old. Either the boycott or the recent videos, if any, were removed.
To all of you who are planning to buy insta360 x4, hear this. The lenses are so fragile and it will be a nightmare to have them replaced and expensive, insta promoted it as an action camera and its a lie, fragile lenses are not for action camera. Its a good camera but atrocious as an action camera.
I despise most of these vloggers that try to blabber on just to keep you on as long as possible before getting to the point!! It makes me never visit their channel again
I got into actioncam intrests after the scandal It was difficult to make choises, I was really attracted to Pro Ace for conviniant reasons I almost bailed out because of all the negativity Luckly I met small YT creators who still supported the Pro Ace and it's capability's I got one to record my hiking trips and I do like the little device So maybe a little question I have is How morale is it for the YT community to put people into a ban hype in utility's when other people defenetly can really use this things The stuff I see made from this device is somehow proof of what it can On the other hand the things they are accused from is not little But I do feel it's blown out of proportion Something like the latest Adobe accusements Looks like there's more money to grab for accusements Anyhow, I hope you enjoy what you do and get the right attention that you deserve I hope you get a white Go Pro
Its a shame insta 360 did this and that vloggers jumped on it. I have an X2 and an X3. Very happy with those cameras. Work flow is great. Vloggers need to not keep test units. Sent them back, give them away. Whatever. Hopefully this is a lesson for those vloggers. Great topic.
I think blaming Insta 360 company as a whole is a mistake. I did hear it was one person trying to get ahead and make big strides by bending and that Insta 360 has remedied that issue. Would like to hear more on it though.
Definitely not going to upgrade. X4 is too expensive for the small jump over the X3. By the next generation, we will see what Insta360 and GoPro bring out (if GoPro actually does, this time.)
Well the must "funny" remark constantly on UA-cam is " Company x gave me product x for review, BUT i am honest". Well, even though i dont think that most reviewers are not trying to be honest its a scientific fact, that if you get something sponsored, your opinion will be colored. There is no way around it, its how the human brain works, and its been studied and documented by a lot of research projects. There is not such a thing as a unbiased review, period. Being honest about ones biases ( the one you are aware of) is the important part, but true unbiased mind is a fictional fantasy.
I still use the Go2 More than all my other cameras combined! What we don't learn here is whether these smarmy tactics were taken by some subcontracted rogue marketing company honchos serving the Anglo-Sphere segment of Insta 360 worldwide. On the other hand, it may have been at insta headquarters' instigation!
I do have an issue with influencers who wouldn't be seen dead carrying anything less than the latest most expensive gear available doing reviews on products they would probably never buy let alone use.
I wanted a 360 cam. Talked to the rep at best buy, should I choose the gopro 360 or insta360 x4. He recommend the X4, so we got it. The wife wanted one so we got the Insta360 X3 bundle from Costco for $100
But wow look at the comments, Insta360 is paying SO many people to pop in and try to distract people with "everyone pays for reviews" as if that was the topic. It's crazy how much they are pressuring people (or bots) to try to distract people. The issue is clearly much bigger than just what we had reported on!
GoPro is on the verge of bankruptcy and I now see why. Their product quality has gone down the tubes. I have a $500 GoPro max that is advertised as water proof but at the beach in waist high water it died. I tried getting in touch with GoPro and it was a joke. I bought an insta360 x4 and it is waaay better. It stitches much much better and the workflow is much more robust. Even before my GoPro died it was buggy and sometimes wouldn’t even record. It is absurd. So while this guy is saying he’s unsponsored, he is acting like a paid advertiser for GoPro when we all know they’re going downhill.
I had unusual problems with my GoPro so I wrote off the company and understood they heavily pushed a positive image with influencers. I was then shocked when I saw in the comment section of a video about GoPros failing that many many people had the exact same problems while I thought mine was just my bad luck! I just purchased an insta360 X3 and had a hell of a time getting a hold of their support staff but really, if the product is a solid build, I will love it and just accept that all these companies are of a similar sucky quality otherwise. XD
I ditched all my gopro stuff for Insta360. The latest “scandal” doesn’t sour me on Insta360. Their x4 is the BEST motovlogging camera out there IMHO. To me people need to ignore most youtube reviews in general anyway. Most reviewers get free stuff & perks for positive reviews from most tech companies. It’s not just Insta360. Anyone who thinks otherwise is living in a dreamworld.
I think that you missed the ENTIRE issue. Everyone gives out free stuff for reviews, and everyone knows that. But UA-cam REQUIRES contractually that that be disclosed, as ethically it needs to be. Insta360 asked reviewers to LIE about it and to breach their UA-cam contracts to hide the relationship. That's not the same, in any way. This didn't sour you because you completely ignored it.
So we should ONLY trash the reviewers and not the company that tied compensation to them lying to do? That seems pretty disingenuous. I assume YOU are one being paid and not disclosing it then?
@@everydayvloggerscott ha no. Never been paid and i dont do reviews. All im saying is that insta aint the only company doing that, and youtube viewers need to take some responsibility in not believing everything they see on youtube. Watch a bunch of videos, research online and educate yourself about the product. There are some youtubers who give solid advice, but most are in it for the clicks and money. You have to assume everyone on youtube is being paid tho and take everything u see with a grain of salt!
From all the negativity from exposing a scandal, I'm going to take it you are taking the time to be negative because you are a bot or paid. Why else would you be negative to finding out you'd been scammed?
With the Insta360, the footage and reviews tell the same story - it's a VERY good camera FOR WHAT IT IS FOR. The strengths and weaknesses are pretty apparent when you watch any reviews. Resolution is spread across 2 sensors on the 360, it's not the best on framed one-directional quality. BUT it is GREAT if you want to capture 360 degrees in good light. I just bought one, having watched several paid (and not paid) reviews.
The problem is you never know when a review in unpaid. Of course, any influencer can just lie on their own. But knowing that Insta360 was pressuring people to both lie about being sponsored and violate their UA-cam contract is a big deal and makes it really difficult to trust reviews of the product. It sucks because I like my Insta360 gear, but using it now makes me look suspicious.
I bought it simply because it’s more practical than GoPro, everything from touring to cycling. Many companies do pay UA-camrs to promote their products from the big handphone makers to cars. No difference here with Insta. It’s part of the business.
No, that's false. The issue is NOT, and you know, about paying people to post reviews. It's about paying them to lie about being sponsored and to violate their youTube agreement. Don't downplay this, clearly you are paid to promote them.
From what you are saying, it appears that you should be focused more on the paid reviewers than the camera company?? If the reviewers lied about anything, then they are grown ups, and you are too. What you are saying about camera companies and quite frankly most any other company that tries to promote their products on UA-cam is really nothing new. Yet, if you are paid to promote a product in a way that it really is not, then you are the responsible person. Have you not watched television adds before? Do you really believe everything the add is saying? I guess you think UA-cam is some sort of safe space 😂 to defy all liars. Get out of here man! I have GoPro and 360 products and like them both, but 360 products are my go-to product at the moment, and it is not because of some guy walking around on UA-cam convincing me. It’s because I know for myself.
Clearly there is a lot of pressure for people to lie about Insta360. Why would you claim, without evidence, that everyone pays people to violate their UA-cam contracts? What would motivate anyone to do that unless they were paid to do so?
From all the negativity from exposing a scandal, I'm going to take it you are taking the time to be negative because you are a bot or paid. Why else would you be negative to finding out you'd been scammed?
No one is saying it is a bad product. I have a few and I really like how they work. But people need to be aware that reviews are being faked, the vendor doesn't believe in their own product sufficiently, and that the company behaves this way. use that information for your individual decision making.

I respect the honesty Salute. It’s a breath of fresh air.

Good to know. Can you perhaps compare it to the X3? Are you saying they are both very fragile or the X4 is more fragile than the X3 was?
@@everydayvloggerscott good point, waiting answer!
Cut straight to the point please
I enjoyed hearing the background information. I suspected a lot of those marketing incentives where I play, that stuff's been going on forever.

How morale is it for the YT community to put people into a ban hype in utility's when other people defenetly can really use this things

same, I have x3 and Go3s happy with them. I hope he gets a white go pro too
