I am for sure going to watch this video BUT FIRST! Let me just say yeah you get money for making videos but the detail in explanation that you guys do and how you make it feel like even I CAN DO THIS! it's so great man. I got into boxing at age 21 because couldn't find any around my area and you motivate me. As cheesy as that sounds it's pretty cool of ya. You both are the bros
@@fighttips big fan . Btw I don't know if you know about it but I think you might like the app it's called martial arts Amino it's basically a social app for fighters and people just plain interested in well martial arts
Body shots are perfect to pin someone down. Also utalizing feints when going in to attack works really well. But my question is what should the fighter being cornered do? Feints might work there
yo shane i have a problem when i have a boxing match i become really wild and start punching like crazy and i cant feel anything or control myself and its really hard for me to fight technichal for some reason i just start going crazy and if i try to fight technichal i just stand there and lose easily
I Just recently picked up Muay thai after doing capoeira for 12 years and I can say it's a lot of fun. But shane I have one question "how do you see kicks, punches and so on coming?" I know it's a lot about the shoulders or hips, but I would like a more indepth guide. That would be an awesome video (all your videos are awesome but you know what I mean)
Im sparring against a guy who is 15-20kg heavier and about a head taller than me, there are others about my weight and height at our gym but the coaches puts me with this taller guy, why? One of the coaches said that i was a fast learner once so do they do it to give me more challenge?
You gotta be very light on your feet, wide stance, and move in and out and use head movement. Being aware of distance at all times is key. McGregor fights southpaw against mostly orthodox fighters so his lead hand is used to block/parries the other fighters jab so he only has to worry about the rear hand. Which makes slipping punches and countering easier.
Is it just me or whenever I hold pads for MMA(I’m new to MMA been training Boxing for 2 Years) ... I Always Freeze up and get confused for which hands I should hold up for my partner, and for a few second I stand there, frozen and discombobulated! Help!!!!
Damn, that's a lot of "first's"!

When u unleash pressure and combo on someone be prepared to lean back cause a counter punch or a kick will be thrown stay aware

Hi can you do a video on how to do a Conner McGregor hands down style

Dont
Wouldn't a solid front kick be good in either postion too tho?
Not specifically imo because it gives them an opportunity to circle out, but yeah if your the one being pressured
@@l.z.6553 its a good option if youre being pressured. Id have to test it out but i think itll wprl really good
bliss what if he takes it and hits u with an overhand while u r unbalanced with one leg
G your legs are longer than someones punches so you should be able to kick out of range of their punches
@@user-tn6cx2vu6b 1. Kick out ranges punch. 2. Good luck catching a frontkick
