Love the 10th wheels. It took some trading from painted, to chrome, and finally I put them on my silver 03. I am not a fan of cleaning them however. The 5 spokes were so easy.
I must agree as mine is a 2004 screaming yellow which came only with the dark charcoal interior. I also do like the 10th anniversary ‘s, especially since they were built last for 2003s and have the nine thread heads on a lot of them. I do like the all leather and red accents. The 10th anniversary and mystichrome were the only way to get full leather in the terminator
Hey Danny! Is 38k to much to pay for a 10th red with 2k orig miles with only flowmasters? Appreciate it. Im close but unsure and dont want to pay to much.
Did you know that the seats are called “Colorado red” like you say in the video, and Colorado red is what the color torch red was called in 2002. The paint code is the same but the name changed in 03
Great informative video! I know you have a lot of knowledge in terminator cobras so I'd like to have your opinion on a cobra I am currently looking at. Its a red 10th anniversary coupe with 96k miles. Clean title, clean car fax, the car looks really well taken car of and engine sounds smooth and car drives great. It only need the 2 front lower ball joints replaced. This is the mod list it has: Gord Heat Exchanger LDC Head cooling Mod SLP Catted X with 2 front high flow cat ( check engine light for not having rear 2 cat ) Steeda Firewall adjuster Centerforce DF Clutch Liberty 26 Spline Input Shaft Billetflow IRS Brace/Brackets Koni Yellow adjustable struts/shocks SCT X4 Programmer H&R race Springs Metco Idler Pulley Maximum Motorsports isolators Maximum Motorsports complete rearend bushing kit Maximum Motorsports Caster/Camber plates 2.3L Whipple Snow performance Meth injection stage 2 17/8 in front, 17/10.5 with 315 nitto in rear/ Is this a good buy for 19k? That is the bottom dollar amount that he ants for it. The supercharger was installed about 6k miles ago like 5 years ago approximately. I would appreciate any feedback, thanks.
He also has all the documentation of the records showing all the modifications done to the cobra. I really want to buy it but I rather inform myself before making an investment like this.
Yeah, I saw that one floating around for sale snd a few of your posts asking about it. The mod list is good and the milage isn’t bad, but what’s likely chasing some people off since it’s near 100k miles. It should still be perfectly good. I would definitely look at the car in person before buying. Ask the owner to drive it around with you watching from outside to see if it’s smoking any purple oil from the exhaust etc. I would also suggest a compression test (link below) and being a 10th it will likely have the 9 thread heads which is good. With the programmer it should have the ability to turn off the rear o2 sensors (some newer tuners don’t allow that for emissions, but a custom dyno tune should be able to do that using the tuner). Also, the handheld can read codes so use it to verify it’s really for the rear o2 sensors. If you do get it, have it tuned professionally and get rid of the meth kit in the trunk ua-cam.com/video/1OkYuRrHh1c/v-deo.html
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage thanks for your reply. I actually went to go look at it and it lelooked really well taken car off. I stood back as he started it and backed out from the garage and at warm idle temp I didn't see any smoke. I don't really like the meth kit either. Is that easy to take off? Would i need to get it retuned if I want to take it off? I also asked if it has had a co.pression test and he said no said he wants nobody to touch his car. I plan on keeping a cobra for a long time but the mileage also worries me a bit too incase if I sell it down the road. Torch red is my favorite and it being a 10th anniversary make it seem more special too me. What would you do?
@@loscar5oh if it checks out it’s a good buy and a great car for the price. I’d get it and if it’s been tuned on the meth kit have it retuned without it and just disconnect the lines. It’s purpose is to inject methanol into the intake to lower intake temps to run more ignition timing but you don’t want to rely on that and I hear they never work as suppose to
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage awesome. I think it wouldn't be a bad idea anyways to get a re-tune to make sure everything is fine. I also may do some long tubes down the road as well. Thanks for your help.
SVTerminatorCobra Na, I couldn’t be happier with my SY! Like I said, I already have a torch red car. Only 299 SYs made as well so it’s cool to have a color more rare than the anniversary edition!
Win Win I personally just proved you wrong by buying my SY over 10ths for sale for the same price. That’s a matter of your opinion, but remember you’re entitled to your own opinions but not your own facts. Supply and demand = Screaming Yellow would be more expensive...and also I can tell you by first hand experience it is SO hard to find a good screaming yellow, so for someone like me who wants it, it could bring just as much money or more. When I was searching for mine it was an obsession and few available. You may not be able to see it, but for those who want Screaming yellow it’s easy to see the car is worth the same or more than a 10th.
Very rare machine indeed
And beautiful some people just cant see the beauty in these cars😢😪😥

Always a complete run down of information. Great video
I enjoy watching this. Fun time every time
I love the 10th steering wheel!
KyleSVT Super nice!
So happy with my Black 10th Anniversary!
Marlo Stanfield Great contrasts with the red seats on the black!
Glad I was born in 03. Can't wait to buy a terminator one day!
Same here, got mine, how about yourself? I was lucky enough to get an 03 Torch Red Coupe
@@93Kalypslowjust got a 10th anniversary vert in torch red myself. 30k original miles!
@@tastykakejawn2576congratulations my friend💯 where you located? I’m out here in California
Great video. Love my 10th anniversary!
Thanks for the data Dan!
Saw the picture of my old 10th Anniversary silver metallic Cobra on your slide.
silvercobra7 Nice! Only the best pics used 😉🙌🏼
Man that is a beauty. I want those seats for my 01 Cobra.
SkepticalVex One of my favorite parts!
Does anyone know the interior color code for these cars?
Hope I can get a 10th anniversary when I go to get s Terminator in a few yrs
Love my 10th anniversary torch red coupe!
Is 38k to much for a 03 10th with 2k orig miles? Just a flow cat back. Thanks
Best Cobra’s are 2004’s ordered with Dark Charcoal Interior. Best year and nothing beats a nice black interior.

They used to be free but now they're $40

It’s a little high but I’ve seen prices only rise lately
That is a sweet Cobra! I love your Mach1 too! You have a great car collection. Keep up the great videos!👍👍
Thank you very much 👍🏼
Man I’d love to have that poster at the end of the video
NikeBird57 It’s a great one for sure

Justin Johnson makes sense cause I saw my Mach 1 said the color was colorado red on the oasis report
Id love to have 1
Jason Cameron The one at the beginning of this video was on ebay for $38k 😶
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage well it might stay there a big longer lol but its a beautiful car think ill have to stick with my 03 gt
Ths video shuts down out of nowhere 😂😂 not even a bye or until next time guys
Jesus Chavez because I hate goodbyes
Coincidence it was made in 2003 and they made 2003? I think not.
or that they made one torch red for every day of the year..ok, maybe that was coincidental lol

You right. As long you happy with yellow lol
Win Win Very happy. Would choose it over TR 10th (as I did), but the 10th would be my next preference
you made a wrong choice, TR 10th is better then SY cobra.

SVTerminatorCobra When I showed my wife the 10th she said “It looks like a V6..and what’s with the wheels?”. 😅😅
I agree but it's personal preference. I have to admit that Screaming Yellow is growing on me.
The TR 10th ani will have better resale value the the yellow. And more demanding . But as long u happy lol
