    INDIA 🇮🇳 SHOULD TOTALLY CONCENTRATE IN THE MANUFACTURING OF JET ENGINES STARTING FROM TRAINERS TO COMMERCIAL ⚚ AIR CRAFTS OF VARIOUS CATEGORIES.....IT SHOULD BE DIFFERENT DEDICATED INDUSTRY BY ITSELF.

    If we look at specifications of GTRE Kaveri K9 and GE404, we see that Kaveri engine has an peak output equal to that of GE404. The only problem with this engine is that it is 100-120 Kg too heavy. Since, Kaveri is an old design with old tech, there is scope for improvement in metallurgy and thus reduction in weight. If our people succeed in decreasing the weight by 100 Kg, its thrust and stability will increase. A JV with Snecma would have provided us the tech and know-how for the same. We could be working simultaneously on all our engine needs through this JV Kaveri K9 for Tejas Mk1 & 1a, Snecma M88 upgarded engine for Tejas Mk2 and Tedbf, New 130 KN engine for AMCA Mk1 and Mk2. Moreover, we would have time for all the projects.

      ORCA program shuru karvana jaruri hai. 2 x Kaveri engines lagao, aircraft ki weight kum karo aur maximum weapon payload ko bhi kum karo.
      Hojayenga.
      ORCA thora under-powered hoga phir bhi, magar ake sanction proof aircraft milenga. Ghubrane ki koei baath nehi uske baad sanctions ki bare mey.
      Price bhi kum hojayenga 2 x Kaveri ki vajey sey.
      Ye he sub sey better option hai.

      IMHO in coming 2 to 3 decades, once China is weakened USA will shift it's target towards India, i.e. trade war, global propaganda sanctions etc.
      USA will make khalistan issue similar to what Taiwan issue is today.
      we will again see USA helping Pakistan with arms and diplomacy like we see them offering weapons to India nowadays.
      In Bangladesh they might prepare a version of extremist akin to mujahideen who will fight in the name of religion.
      They are already trying to penetrate Nepal's influential circle via MCC and other grants.
      Finally in south they anyway have Diego garcia.

    I am not an expert in Aircraft. But still would like to suggest. The latest version of the Kaveri engine is slightly under powered compared to the GE404 engine used on the Mk1. However, since it is locally produced, costs will be definitely lower. So 2 of these kaveri engines can produce more power than the GE414 engine proposed for the MK2. We may remember that after the first flight of the Tejas MK1, the MK2 was presented as MCA--Medium Combat Aircraft with a twin engine configuration. ADA had proceeded to a great length in Design of this aircraft. So if this design can be revived with 2 kaveri engines, we can completely eliminate foreign dependency on engines. Higher costs should not matter here as, everything will be under our control. The kaveri engines are also being sold for marine applications like Ship propulsion, Power generation etc.

Hamesha dekha Gaya he US par critical defence eqpt ko lekar bharosa karna mushkil he aur France sirf high price me bechne me interested he, technology transfer bilkul nahi. Humko akhirkar Aisa technology development me atma nirvar hona hi he, karna hi padega.

    Regardless of the patriotic posts it is necessary to finalize the Technology transfer deal with USA without further delay. Both the Prime Minister of India and the President of USA have announced the seal; why the delay now?
    USA can be very tough and unyielding with respect to contractual clauses and if this deal is aborted there will be indefinite delay and the loss will be India's.India knew or should have known Cancellation of the deal will mean a terrible loss of face for India.All the more reason that the Safran agreement for the new development of the engine for AMCA also needs to be finalized- with better commercial terms. And for Heaven's sake- no delay. The strength of our Fighter fleet is at stake.

    2026 for a 17 ton aircraft like Tejas Mk2 is very very considerable delay... AMCA should've come till 2026

      Bhai AMCA ki First flight 2030 se pehle nhi hone waali kisi bhi haal me or Airforce me induction hote hote 2035 ho jaayega easily. I think india ko F35 le lena chahiye USA se toh be on the safer side and 5th Generation Capabilities ke liye atleast 40- F35 toh le hi lene chahiye like 10-15 for Navy and 30-35 for Airforce.

    Sasta padega ki if we also get a couple of engines from France and also make the prototypes interoperable /integratable with both 414 and the French engine. That will help get us quicker and better deal from one of the vendors. It’s more work and some wasted cost but will prove cheaper and beneficial in long run.

    The rollout will take 2026 and first flight in 2027. The certification will take another 3 years. Manufacturing will take atleast 2032. For getting the first squandron, we will have to wait until 2035 or later.

    Hamara apna kaveri 2.0 bhi near complition hai aur hamari baat Safran se chal Rahi hai, unhone Tejas mk2 ke sub variant ke liye apne rafale ke naye engine ka proposal Diya hai agar amca main deri hoti hai toh Tejas mk 2 a ke naam se stealth variant banaya Jaa sakta hai jo mk2 ki American engine problem ko cover kar dega aur vaise bhi engine problems American elections ki vajah se ho Rahi hai elections ho Jane ke baad yeh permanently sort out ho jayaengi

    Kitna kaam hoga aur kitna samay chahiye to make required changes on developed Tejas MK2 to incorporate indigenously developed engine.
    If we can developed engine in 10 years , why to order so many f414s .
    Engine par pehle hi kaam shuru kia hota tho shayad saare Tejas MK2 would come with indigenous engine. Just like Russia and China , build prototype jets and test with existing engine and once engine is ready perform final tests and start bulk production.

      Why re-designing Tejas, AF version of TEDBF, ie, ORCA can easily be made with 2x Kaveri engines. Presently Kaveri produces wet thrust of 81kn which is even higher than 🇫🇷M88

    It's far more important to develop our own than purchase same class aircraft which give no extra benefits. I agree with the Parliamentary Committee, that if we have to purchase 114 combat aircraft from abroad, they should be 5th generation.

    Possible solution for the mess could be to scrap MMRCA; Negotiate with france for combined deal of Rafale and TOT on an uprated variant of M88 engines which may later be used for replacing or as back up of GE 414.
    Given current situation GE 414 should not be the prototype engine for either AMCA or TEDBF - no matter the increased cost and design changes!!

      Yes, India needs to arm twist US by starting negotiations with France for the engines, just the way US is openly arm twisting India. India did a big mistake by choosing US for such a critical component, they need to make better decisions in their foreign policy. Trustig the most unreliable country in the world for the most critical component is plain stupid.

    We have to be fleible wiith GE414 Engines, its unlikely that any concrete steps will be taken till our Elections mid 2024, I hope there's not any further delays with prototype development and first flight, this makes me worried about TEDBF and AMCA, with TEDBF being an urgent demand for indian NAVY

    When will this fly. In 2021 it was told that, the covid will not affect development of MK2. There will be a slight delay of 6months and it was committed that 1st flight would happen between Aug2023 to May2024. But now in Feb 2024, still roll out also has not happened

    Its okay... Agar aaj he first flight hokr sare testing v complete krde tab v IAF order nhi karne wala abhi...Reasons-
    1.Lack of Funds
    2. All lines are busy in Mk1a
    3. Life of Mirages, Mig29s, Jaguars still remaining...
    Remember Mk2 will replace Mirages, Mig29s, Jaguars... Its okay if it is delayed.....

    Mk1a and mk 2 having same time line does not add up.
    No one buy mk1a, if mk2 is available at the same time.
    Something is missing.
    A diversion from what is actually going on inside Indian aviation sector.

      Our governments Never put any good money in our aerounautical complex.
      Government start jet Engein program but never give any support like metallurgical support and industrial support.
      Then we litteraly have no engine testing facilities even today. Even Gtre saying to government to made Mig-29 as High altitude test bad to save money.
      People bark in kaveri project we waste money they realy know , government only put peanut size money in Engein program and always delay the funding.
      And then stop the program 10 year ago at very critical stage.
      Our R&D budget in defense is very low.
      I agree Reservation system is become a shi*t with full of Corruption. But we currently can't completly blame everything on it currently. Our beuracacy is also biggest problem.

    Better to make 3 prototypes with GE, Eurojet and Snecma engines and see which performs better and is made available to us more easily. That should put some pressure on the engine manufacturers and give us the best solution.

      You need to know how integration is done. In order to fully study engine performance they need 8 to 10 engine at initial phase. Currently they have got 8 to 10 F414 for initial test and those engines dont get integrated into an aircraft.
      By your logic we will need around 27 to 30 engines just for the initial performance testing. Its a stupid idea.

      @@akashnepak504 i dont have data on how many exact number of engines are used as testing specimens but HAL had received 8 414 engines for lca mk 2
      Even if all dont get used for testing, its still a high number

      @@shaksham.22 i am from iit kanpur so profs here work closely with both ada/ade , you see u need engines at that high number when you are developing the engines like flight tetsiong valdiating high altitude tetsing but f414 is already validated at all the parameters we just need to integrate into the aircraft so more focus is not power distribution system, control system and high speed serial interfaces

      @@shaksham.22 Maybe it's a stupid idea but you should know that many aircrafts were designed to use different engines. As Mark 2 is in design phase, it's worth any ideas to try to keep it sanction free. If one takes that much time to develop Kaveri, what alternatives do you have? If I am not mistaken, Rafale prototypes also used different engines. Maybe working with different engines will also help in indigenous engine programme.

    First thing is who are those Gyani Babus who stopped the fund for development until engine deal is not done? Why to stop development.. at least we could have done testing other components before engine for production is received

    When original announement of first flight in 2024, didn't anybody know about the CCS fund release clause? Either Indian officials are too incompetent to read legal documents carefully or people lied to the public and maybe also to elelcted memebrs of the govt. responsible for their accountability. Both cases require further and immediate investigation. Otherwise this jet will never fly.

    I've been watching these channels since ages. Let me tell you one thing, do not believe any timeline that they tell you. Aaj Tak Ghanta kuch time pe nai hua hai ,Aur na he ho paiga . Mark-2 will take at least 10 years from now to finally start getting inducted in the IAF. ( likh ke le lo 😊). HAL and ADA like to put their leg in as many boats at a time meanwhile lack the functionality and Manpower to deliver anything proper and On schedule. This chain of Doing R&D of 5 different projects at the same time for such less production is hurting us really badly . Take France for example, They're experienced yet focus on 1 or 2 major programs at a time. A team for enhancement of Already mastered Rafael ( F-4 for example) and Rest manpower for R&D for their 5+ or so called 6th gen fighter . They are not developing 5 different fighters at the same time ,Rather enhancing what they have and Focusing on the future.
    Yaha Us be like , Tejas is flying with 1980s computers while being manufactured in 2023😅, lakin R&D me Mark-A bhe hai , Mark-2 bhe hai , TEDBF bhe hai AMCA bhe hai and Omni Role fighter bhe tha pehle and Aur bhe 1-2 projects the . 😂. Uttam radar , Kaveri engine se leke so many projects that could have used funds and Manpower get compromised because of this shit . And then they leave the IAF starving and Pilots dying in 50 year old machines and not let them induct Foreign Fighters ke Ghar pe to khana ban he raha hai na , to McDonald's me kyu khaie. Bhaisab Ghar pe ban rahi hai Beerbal ke Khichdi , These are the same youtubers who used to say that deal should be scrapped because 2024 se we'll start getting Tejas Mark-2s with almost same capabilities as Rafales 😂😂.
