I would be really interested to hear more of your and Dave’s stories about “growing up poor” and what you remember of it. Maybe even getting your parents perspective on it of their hardest times etc. could be a good idea for your next video x
Before my husband passed away, if we argued, each person had an opportunity to have their say. Then either the argument came to a conclusion, or we agreed to disagree and then moved on. If it was a full on fight, we usually ended up "Not speaking". This could be for hours or even days, however, there were rules we put in place early in the relationship. We never left the house or went to bed without a kiss , we were civil in front of the kids (So they didn't know we weren't talking) and we spoke if it was necessary, like telling the person food was ready, or they were wanted on the phone. When we were ready to talk and move on, we would ask, "Are we okay?". If the other person was ready to move on they would answer "Yes.", other wise they might answer "Yes, but I am still angry". This let the person asking the question know the other needed a bit more time. The person who asked the question was free to talk to the other, but it would be a bit longer before the other person would be instigating conversations. This worked well for 30 years of marriage.
YESSS about letting the kids read whatever they WANT to read! My son who LOVED reading (was reading HP in 2nd and 3rd grade) was in the advanced program for 4th grade and his teacher told hin that he needed to be challenging himself when reading and she wouldn't accept books below his reading level as counting for his homework anymore. It ruined his love for reading and we are still trying to get it back. I'm still mad about it. For the record, we didn't enforce that and said read whatever you want, but one 'influential' adult telling him no to books he enjoyed took away the enjoyment of reading.

In regards to eating out, trying keeping a list of the cost of eating out, and you will find that it adds up so quickly! Include anything you buy to eat at convenient, stores or coffee shops, not just restaurants. As for tracking calories, I say, just concentrate on eating REAL FOOD- not processed!
We seriously would be best friends! Hahaha. The things you say and the clips you put in are just like my personality! Lay off me I’m starving!!! Diet starts Monday 🤣🤣🤣
I dont count calories. I eat a vary diet. Sometimes a late lunch no dinner maybe fruit. I try to walk every day. Weights 3-4 days a week with crunches. I'm 72!
Interesting that they took out the checkers at Walmart, in our city they’re putting them back in because of too much theft. They took them out during the last recession too. Hmmm trending?
I thought so too however I have run across some lately but it was stuff I either don't eat (packaged crap) or I did get some clearance meat but then decided later the regular price at Aldi would have been about the same. Lol. Most of what I see is clearance junk food and donuts and other bakery stuff we never buy. She buys those clearance salad kits. I would never let one of those touch my lips 😂😂😂 they have something in it that makes me sick. Glad she can eat them. When you have stomach probs (or severe food allergies like so many in this country) the clearance aisle prob ain't gonna get it.
I call it calorie vision. Its like a super power. IF I am trying something completely new I will look at the nutrition facts. Whole foods are easy. I can tell if its enough. When people say, " I DID eat." and it was something like a small yogurt, I'm like you need like 300 more calories. That's why you're hangry.
Hope your race went well! I went to walmart today and had to get the worker ok me buying fuel injector cleaner for my car at self checkout. You have to be 18, which I was a while ago.
Hey guys fyi not going to be angry is in the Bible. So I don’t agree with God being full of it. But that doesn’t mean you have resolve it fully without sleep. If possible up resolve it go for it. where is the part about growing up poor??
Hey lady!!! What is the name of the water filtration pouch you use when hiking? Thank you!!!
Resting heart rate 45?!! Mine is between 82-94 LOL. I need to go on more walks...or work on my constant state of anxiety. 45? I think I'm broken, lol.
My resting heart rate does go lower but when I'm up and about mine is 90 and I do workout regularly ❤
Totally enjoyed this video!

Interesting that they took out the checkers at Walmart, in our city they’re putting them back in because of too much theft. They took them out during the last recession too. Hmmm trending?
Nm! Found it in the doobly-do!! 😂
OMG is your little guy a mini hubby, or what???? super cute :)
I don't think you'd survive in my area. 99% of the time there are no clearance items.
Don’t put it off. But I think it is important to just come to a point where you’re not fuming and make sure you resolve it next day for sure.
I need that camera! It’s awesome.
