I love the fact that these guys came along and literally created a subgenre. Then they come back to being as committed and heavy as ever 25 years later. Then the new album is one of the best thrash metal albums I've heard in a very long time.
Damn, it brings great memories to see Saint Vitus and Duffs, when I heard about Lemmy's passing away I was hangin at Duffs. Wish I was at Exhorder's show. Awesome footage and experience, man, cheers!
I like the HEATHEN / FORBIDDEN connection to EXHORDER now. Viebrooks on the bass and Sasha Horn on the drums. Bay Area meets Louisiana speed, can't wait to hear the new album! 🤘
It took metal injection a whole month to upload that. What the fuck?! Then again it took me a month to do this so I can't complain too much. Haha. The Law is sick too.
Whoa :o At first i thought it was a real Documentary ( well its a pretty good one ) and then i just saw that it was uploaded by Tony :P Great job Dude !! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Dude this was awesome to see this and as a fan quite excited to know that they're back together!!! That was an awesome guitar that you built for Vinny nice job!!! I just watched the show that they did recently I believe in November in Houston and they sounded really tight and the songs they played off of Slaughter At The Vatican and The Law albums were just as brutal as they were back in the day!!! What was pretty cool was that Vinny was playing the guitar that you built for him .Thanks for posting this video
Attention everyone in the comments! EXHORDER is excited to announce that they have signed with nuclear blast records and have an album in the works. It's confirmed on their Instagram.
These guys are poised to become the premium thrash band of 2019/2020. Exceptionally talented. I hope they play my backwater town, which is the capital of my country, Ottawa (Canada).
These guys are fuckin killer! I sure hope they come to central CA very soon. The new album is a punisher, the metal album of the year if you ask me. Every song is just better than the last. Also, that's one badass guitar you guys built, congrats on such fine craftsmanship, quite admirable for sure! Thanks for posting this video!
Mate! @ 10:18 , next to the pizza to your righthand side - that is EXACTLY what 2 x bags of Gear/rock look like in this country . Hahah, ´old habits die hard , or what ? `
"Even the bathroom in this place is fucking awesome!" XD Oh yeah... the technical difficulties arrive and then the jokes make up for the time waiting. I almost forgot about that technique! Trippy on the license plates on the wall of the bar. And the birthday celebration was super. Oh nice, even with all of our gadgets now the long airport delay and wait still leaves nothing to do? No surprise. Love your bit outside the music hall in New Orleans. Both the description and the excitement to come. The quiet moments with tales being told are wonderful; real living. Oh, got me with the, "And we never thought we'd be dads with jobs and shit." And "the fight between good and evil because that's what heavy metal is all about." Oh, love the person wiped out on the couch there, that was fitting. Of course the string broke. Calling anything "unbreakable" is asking for a challenge. What was the roll you were eating near the end? Wow, we're gonna be celebrating his birthday til "the end times". Good times!
Metal Maniac so yeah, Metal Maniac, Exhorder, was the early incarnation of what became the Louisiana Sound. Pantera and Dimebag (RIP) owe this band at least a sliver of inspiration for Vulgar Display of Power. I feel like there were so many more “accessible” metal/hard rock bands including Pantera and Crowbar and of course all of the Florida metal bands that somehow Exhorder went un-worshipped, which probably helped keep it from being overplayed, but definitely not by my friends and me. We would be at a college frat party or basically NOT a metal party and I’d slip Slaughter in the Vatican and crank up the volume, often claiming to not understand what the host was saying and definitely not letting anyone near the stereo till the first three songs played. Some people came around because it’s so fucking good. I honestly think this album is better than any Pantera album. Yeah I know that says a lot in some books, but this album was brutal and too short. Play Desecrator at very high volume, in the church parking lot before you walk in, grinning.
Couple questions: Is the V symmetrical or Asymmetrical, I hope symmetrical, do you happen to know what Exhorder tune and have always tuned in, I hear D and Drop D, I hope its just D, and thirdly, is Vinnie that tall?
Yes, because the action/strings are designed for the Drop D tuning, just about every Exhorder song except Into the Void is tuned to that... in fact, the action is REALLY low on that guitar, and the gauge is like 9-46 lol.
There really are only a few bands that can make drop tunings, meaning drop D and the like, not down tuning, work. Them, Nile, some old crowbar in drop A is all I can think of. I love that fuckin V, I would also love to commission SP to build me a warlock like Hobbs', but with a fixed bridge and a purple finish. It is so killer you got to meet fuckin' Vinnie and Hobbs, two of my all time favorite players and influences.
Seen Exhorder 5 times since the 2011 reunion. Was st both of the St Vitus shows still disappointed at the false advertising with the second night setlist. they did not play the law in its entirety
Fuck buddy looks like windbag! Awesome to see these guys back! The " shoulda been Pantera" this makes me fucking smile from ear to ear! I wrecked my volkswagon rabbit to the law and it was the only left working when cops showed up and they finally got fed up and beat the battery cable of with a flashlight! Irony at its best
Not wanting to be "THAT" guy but being exactly "THAT" guy - the Exhorder reunion is a bunch of crap. Only 2 original members, lame ass new record, live performances lackluster, why bother, though? I mean, 90s Exhorder were THE SHIT! But let them go in dignity.
I love the fact that these guys came along and literally created a subgenre. Then they come back to being as committed and heavy as ever 25 years later. Then the new album is one of the best thrash metal albums I've heard in a very long time.
Vinnie has the coolest accent/voice of all time. Pure New Orleans.
This is practically a documentary. Good fucking job.
This is my first time experiencing Exhorder and so far, they're far beyond killer. Thrash Til Death!
Dude, thanks for making history! We will be looking back 20 yrs from now! Say whooaaa
Had a couple msg exchanges on F/B with Kyle awhile back. Very humble n cool dude. Excited to hear Exhorder is back
He really is
You gotta do more of these, I love them
You lived the dream bro! Excellent documentary giving a good description of the day in the life of touring
New album took a couple listens to get into, but its great!
Awesome. When I can, I'm definitely going to pick one up. Thanks man! \m/
Love all of his videos
id LOVE to see exhorder live. "Death in Vain" is one of the most crushing riffs in all of thrash
Exhorder and The Tragic Period are my two favorites off of Slaughter
Love that Exhorder's back. A new album would be INCREDIBLE. That new guitar looks and sounds AMAZING.
It was fun working on it, and fun to be around those guys
That's awesome man. You are very talented.
I really like the indie documentary feel to this.
Awesome. Exhorder debut is killer, so fun interview backstage man hahaha.
I heard recently about through Ola Englund, then today I listened to the Slaughter in the Vatican album. This band kicks ass.
Desacrator is a killer tune
Just a Masterpiece !!!! The legend NEVER dies !!!! Thanks a lot my friend for this !!!! Cheers....!!
Great vlog of your adventures. It seemed like a great experience and everyone was so down to earth.
Dude this was awesome to see this and as a fan quite excited to know that they're back together!!! That was an awesome guitar that you built for Vinny nice job!!! Metal Mike thank you. I just helped build it, 30% of the work. But indeed, a killer guitar and a great band
Love all your vids
great vid exhorder rulez keep it metal and rock on dude
Awesome! Thanx for sharing this masterpiece!
Exhorder! Fuck yea. Im seeing them live later this year. They are on a smaller stage. I think they are worthy of the main stage tbh
Worthy of their own festival, lol
Exhorderfest. Fucking brutal \m/
Great vid.Nice looking axe. Thanks for sharing!!
Thrash and groove are some of my favourite sub genres of METAL
just found out about these guys.
Fucking amazing stuff!

So sick!
Exhorder fuckin rule! That's sick that you got to hang out with em and have a hand making that sexy guitar!
Sick, haven't watched the whole thing yet. But it's gonna be great

Saw them yesterday, amazing ..
Hey this is awesome! I met Scott at a Slayer show in Charlotte back in June! Super cool guy and has a pretty cool band called False Prophet!
Looking forward to the album release show in October here in New Orleans
You’ll see me there!
Mate! @ 10:18 , next to the pizza to your righthand side - that is EXACTLY what 2 x bags of Gear/rock look like in this country . Hahah, ´old habits die hard , or what ? `
you seem to make a great apprentice for making a guitar for a band like exhorder
This Is Great! I Love Exhorder! Keep It Coming🤘🏻
i hope that they do a new album, i would buy the fuck out of it.

That was my 4th hot dog. Lol!
Fuck yes! I wish I could of made it to these shows I am sure they were kickass. Do you know if exhorder will be selling any of that merch online?
I wanna say they have an online store if you look at their facebook page. You should also join the Desecrators fan page if you are so inclined!
Killbot&GorGorAttack!! Thanks man I'll check it out!

Excellent all round well done buddy

Never heard of them. Sounds like I would like them.

Was cool to see Marzi in there.
Wow brother. Never seen this till now. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Do you have any footage of the "Into The Void" cover? Idk if they would have played it, but it's honestly one of my favorite covers of all time.
Holy shit, nice!
Your so awesome how do you get to all these shows?!
Rock on
Gotta pay to play, lol. Helping build the guitar was the big backstage ticket.
cool! sad thing is I only know 2 people that are metalheads tho
Lucky dude

That tone is a fuckin beast!!!
0:53 raleigh durham airport
It is a pretty badass V!!!
Was that new York city.mainly because I'm one of your new Yorker fans.
The first two dates were at St Vitus in Brooklyn, yes
a framed hour valour pride poster...well played sir
Love Bolt Thrower
Fuckin EXHORDER!! Awesome vid.
Couple questions: Is the V symmetrical or Asymmetrical, I hope symmetrical, do you happen to know what Exhorder tune and have always tuned in, I hear D and Drop D, I hope its just D, and thirdly, is Vinnie that tall?
Ok continued video, they play in c#
No they play in drop D. V is symmetrical
What was the C# tuning on his tuner about? Is it for when they do Into the Void?
Yes, because the action/strings are designed for the Drop D tuning, just about every Exhorder song except Into the Void is tuned to that... in fact, the action is REALLY low on that guitar, and the gauge is like 9-46 lol.

Name of band and song 33:47 plz ???
MORBID BLAST that would be War Curse. Song is called Asylum, and will be on the new record which will be out in late March.
Is that alex webster at @ 0:42?
What are your opinions on the new Exhorder album Tony?
Seen Exhorder 5 times since the 2011 reunion. Was st both of the St Vitus shows still disappointed at the false advertising with the second night setlist. they did not play the law in its entirety
I would’ve loved to hear “Unborn Again”
I'm pretty sure I've seen you at plenty of shows in NC
I'll be at Morbid Angel Monday and at Obituary on the third, come say hi!
🤘👺🤘
I was supposed to see them with Entombed in 1992....show canceled.
Probably because Exhorder was raising hell and pissing on Entombed’s tour bus, the things that got them thrown off that tour! Haha!
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack and entombed sounded like SHIT....saw them with unleashed....blew them off stage
The jelly school is now accepting applications
Was this the saint virus show
How bout a new slab of metal Exhorder. Hail the Heavy!!
When was that show exactly?
There were three. February 9 and 10 in New York, then in NOLA February 11
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack That's what i thought..wasn't sure.
Where is the drummer
Venie is honestly the godfather of bullishit
TYPE O NEGATIVE!!
What’s that bass?
I wanna say it's an ESH
All those musicians in the basement and that was one of the worst out of tune attempts of Happy Birthday i've ever heard 😂
Wait Southport dat be nola
Fuck. I missed them in New York.
I have brought shame unto the metal gods.
Saint Vitus green room? PINK MASS!
Yesss the Metal Injection interview took a month after that to come out and it was awesome
H E L L Y E A H !
Edit: \m/ \m/ \m/
Wheres Kirk Weinstein, and phil anselmo ?
They should be at the NOLA show?
Phil was in the crowd for a minute before any bands started playing, but appreciated didn’t stay for whatever reason
The Pantera style, before Pantera changed to the Exhorder clones
ZZ zhorder \m/
Pay me that's what I be saying
Even though Pantera copied Exhorder , I prefer Exhorder because it's less Groove and more Thrash
I find that Exhorder is more loose, Pantera also being more influenced by southern and classic rock
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack I agree, great documentary style video
