Saw Slayer this past summer.
Seen Suffocation, Havok, Cannibal Corpse, Children of Bodom and just saw Slayer in June with Anthrax, Testament, Behemoth n Lamb of God.. Excellent show. Your list is almost exactly my list..

I have now seen Gojira 4 times. The first time I saw them was in Philly, and when they sound checked the kick drums, everyone in the line outside just stared at each other. The best live sounding band hands down, excellent brotherly pits, it's always a blast.

I love how every exodus show I been to ends with a wall of death last time I saw exodus municipal waste opened for them and the whole place got thrashed!
Obituary, as of yet, are the only death metal band I’ve seen live. Yet easily the best show of any genre I’ve seen and idk how it could be topped

My first stage dive was to Obituary! I even got a photo with Tardy aha, my first death metal show too. The vocalist for Orgin was filling in for Ingested, I jumped on and off stage as soon as the song ended, Then he called me back up on stage and announced the next song while i was on stage, he called me the “Lone Stage Diver”. It was badass!!!
I hope Cannibal Corpse come to New Orleans.

I've seen GWAR 7 or 8 times. I was almost killed during one when someone dived off the balcony on to my head. Good times.
Im 48 and waiting for Carcass to come back to the Midwest St Louis metro area.
Another one is Coroner. Damn I want to see them live. And now I can't stop listening to that Vorbid album since that shirt.

Downward spiral era NIN was LEGENDARY!!! Saw them 4x on that tour cycle ALONE! 2x w Manson (as his first album was just coming out), once w PWEI, and once w Prick and David Bowie!
Saw the Fragile tour w A Perfect Circle opening (as the 1st APC album was just coming out). Then also saw the downward spiral 20th anniversary tour w Soundgarden and Oneohtrix Point Never, in 2014.

And don’t get me started on Skinny Puppy shows! I got to see the Last Rights tour! In 1992 Before they broke up. And then a few times since they’ve reformed. Figured you’d appreciate that, being a Puppy fan!
Btw my dude exhumed, revocation, rivers of nihil are playing outpost concert club in Kent ohio on October 13 I think there touring in NC not sure but I guess if they don't you could always drive to ohio to see them just thought I'd let you know take care killbot keep it metal

I would love to see Immolation, Overkill, Megadeth, Behemoth, Incantation, Hate Eternal and Vital Remains. I've only been to one concert so far, it was Morbid Angel this last April and they killed it!

ive seen all but one gwar show in seattle since 1994 .i got a bag of homemade soaked from the pit t shirts in bags.. one one my fave backings of a home made gwar shirt says.. taking more lives than crack. boo yah!
Saw Obituary before Slayer god that’s just legendary
Even though i am more of a death and thrash fan i will always watch a danish doom/hardrock band know as demonhead who i have seen five times now. there is always such a great atmosphere and they always give it 100% also they are really down to earth and always down to talk to fans after the shows.
Also next year on maidens tour they are coming close to me so I'm definitely gonna try to see them

You think Exodus is a crazy thrash show, I saw Slayer on their last world tour and someone tried starting a pit in the seats.

I saw Ghoul and Municipal Waste open for GWAR in 2012, at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston. There was a no moshing order in the city at the time (with security in the pit) but Tony wouldn't allow that, he got everybody going anyway. When GWAR took the stage and started spraying blood, security didn't stick around. All the members of Municipal Waste and Ghoul were in the pit with us. RIP Brockie.
That was such a great tour and an amazing lineup. It's so hard to see gwar now since Dave died, I have fun but I get really depressed afterward. Any gwar tour with Ghoul on the bill is gonna be a blast though
I always love hearing music advice from you. I'll definitely make sure to hang around after a CC show once I see them live for the first time.
I also saw Ghost on May 13th...my first concert ever. It was the best night of my life. I'm completely obsessed with them. The music and the appearance/performance definitely go hand in hand. Cardinal Copia was great and the Ghouls are so intriguing...hope to see them again soon!

Souza is definitely one of the greatest frontmen I've seen in person.
And Maiden... You have to have a low iq to not appreciate them. (And a low iq to be bashing Janick )
Also, if you liked Watain live, you gotta check out Belphegor. The stage set is similar to Watain (and Mayhem) minus the pig heads but there's something about their stage presence that is just not human at all. O_O like Helmuth just looks into the audience and it's like you're being blessed by Satan himself.

When I went to see ghost live the show was cut short because a guy in the pit had a heart attack and died. Other than that it was a great show
I actually got to see exhordor with Overkill on March in San Antonio and the was my time seeing both those bands and to top it off after exhordor got off stage I got to meet Kyle at the merch booth and that was the best night of my life man wish I can go back to relive that moment over and over again
Seen gwar twice, both at riot fest here in Chicago. Glad I got to see Dave play an awesome show
Obituary was also the first metal band I saw live, I saw them twice, I'm about to see them again in April in Tampa FL
I agree with you on exodus. I saw them with municipal waste a few months ago and I’d be stupid if I said that wasn’t one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. We even crowdsurfed a guy in a wheel chair up onto the stage and the whole band cheered for him and got in a group photo. Also it was my first time stage diving and that was great. All around an amazing show and I’ll definitely be seeing them again.
I saw ghost in Asheville n.c may 22nd with cardial copia, they were phenomenal. I got to meet tobias forge after the show, he's like the nicest guy ever.

Cannibal corpse has been my favorite to see. I've see them 4 times now n met everyone but corpsegrinder. Alex webster even remembered me when i got to the show n said what's up and stuff with his wife and kid haha

I saw Devy back in 2016 with Fallujah and Between The Buried & Me in Charlotte. It was the best gig I’ve ever been to.
The closest I've gotten to a real metal show was KISS. Not metal but probably the best show I've seen. They put on a great show.

This was a fantastic list of bands! The first Death Metal Band I ever saw live was also the first Death Metal band album that I purchased is Morbid Angel. But my favorite Death Metal Show I’ve been to is a Carcass Show. They absolutely rock live! My all time very Band especially live is Testament. Exodus opened up for them which was great but When Testament took the stage they not only blew Exodus away but you could hear and feel that they were playing on a higher level. You have Gene Hoglan the Atomic Clock on Drums, Steve Di Giorgio on Bass, the legendary Alex Skolnick on Lead Guitar, the criminally underrated Eric Peterson on Rhythm/Lead Guitar, and Chuck Billy on vocals who sounds just as good if not better live. Together those guys absolutely kill it live!

I saw Ghoul as one of the opening bands for GWAR. They were great. I've seen GWAR 3 times. Always a great show.

Went to the Slayer show in Virginia Beach. That was a heavy metal show!!! Slayer killed it like always, Lamb of God was a close second and Behemoth always brings it. Going to see Lamb of God, Anthrax, Testament, and Napalm Death at the Filmore Silver Spring in July!!!!! Great video like always. Keep it up dude 🤘🤘🤘🤘

I have absolutely all the time in the world for a Devin Townsend gig. Only got to see him the once last year but holy fuck, it was just something else!

I've seen Voivod about 12 times, the first time during the Nothingface tour. Every single time they slayed.
I've seen Gwar live with Brockie on vocals 3 times. I haven't seen them with Blothar on vocals yet, but it's on my to do list.

i took my cause of death album to the show and got it signed by john which was cool. the only thing is the sharpie i took was dead, so the signature is extremely faded
I wore a white lab coat to a Gwar show. The entire band and entourage signed it in sharpie. That was in 1992 amd i still have it.

I really like Nothingface, they've never exactly released a bad album but the early stuff is more straightforward thrash and the 90s onward is more avant-garde thrash

Seen ghost 3 times and Iron maiden honestly could not be happier that those are the only concerts
I've seen ghost 3 times. The first time was with papa 3 at a festival but they only played for what felt like 40 mins but it was still great now with cardinal copia they sometimes do 2 hour shows and the cardinal goes through many outfit changes when playing different songs from different albums.
DUDE I seen Ghost May 13 and it was great Cardinal was awesome Nameless ghouls like me a lot and dude you should definitely see it, it was my first show and I loved it.. but I might get to see my second favorite band THE DEFTONES

They’re not trying to “out hardcore” anyone or appeal to the “extreme” mall kids. I happened to listen to them when Demon Days came out and it was a lot different then than it is now
