Loyalty Testing | ENTJ's

- ENTJ's are among the types known for desiring loyalty, and as a result are known to "gut check" and "Loyalty Test".
These are my thoughts on the topic as well as my recommendations on determining loyalty more accurately.
In my estimation, this will be of great assistance to just about any MBTI type, however it may help ENTJs the most.

As an ENTJ, the biggest issue I have with trusting someone is them making me look like an idiot and me wasting my time, energy, and emotions on someone who never had their loyalty on the same level.

it's our ENTJ kind of neediness
As an ENTJ I do this I think subconsciously. I’m testing their loyalty, competency & trustworthiness. The ultimate door slam, to never be opened again is lying to me or cheating me/on me. I have chose previous romantic partners that I was not initially attracted to but they passed all of the loyalty tests.

My last ENTJ woman, wanted me to cut ties with one person after another. To show her, that I loved her. No stopping in sight: Friends, family, work coleagues, whatever. Told her, that she is isolating me. Please be kind to my people, I asked. She answered with Entitlement. I mirrored her, she became aggressive. I hope, I had an exception of an ENTJ. She definitively failed my loyalty testing: to just respect my feelings. I feel disgusted seeing her being the nicest person to literally everyone, who is not my friend. So she is able to be nice, but she doesn't want it to be, for her partner. This leads to coercive control.
Made her look stupid as a breakup gift.
And I still miss her, damn.
Btw. don't loyalty test your partners, it's toxic because it destroys the trust of your partner to you, should he/she find out. Period.
Btw. never mirror a psychopath, they become aggressive. (Vaknin, Budapest)
I get why people think, ENTJs are psychopaths, because some are...

That goes far beyond screening, while their mbti may have been ENTJ they likely had many issues. To me it sounds like you dodged a bullet, move forward with confidence that you are better off without them.
It sounds exactly like an ENTJ to me.

As an ENTP, completely agree. However, one little note. ENTJ’s are loyalty testing for Fi. They need loyalty for when they screw up in Fi, especially because Te is so dominant in society, Fi gets neglected even more by the ENTJ. Know why you are loyalty testing is my advice. To get a good read how they respond in a bad mood. If you just know why you loyalty test, you can get more data when you do.
I was tested by my ENTJ romantic potential when travelling together. It really hurted me tbh, at least at that moment. He was testing my loyalty and as INTJ, I sile ntly knew where he was coming from and what came through his mind.
I'm probably not that easily to read compared to other people he met and I'm reversed in expressing feelings just like him. He was testing my feelings and loyalty to him by exaggerating his story with his two exes and one of his female friends - which I detected later on, was at least partially untrue. But my feelings were hurted when he tested me and I'd never forget about it unless there's something to compensate from him in the future. While still having a lot of feelings for him, his behaviors killed my motivation wanting to meet and travel with him again.

I’m an INTJ I always test people lol!! I have noticed ENTJs do that. But sometimes you need people to be like that for safety
Do you know about "Star vs. The Forces of Evil"? There is a character named Marco Diaz. Many people type him as an ISFJ, but I believe he's just a dorky quirky ENTJ. Is it likely for him to have your personality type?

This is so true as an entj as myself, thats why i test certian people to see if they are loyal but if they betray my loyalty I'll never wanna speak to them again

Unlike the ENTJ, loyalty checking for the ENTP is checking whether someone else can cover for my mistakes. It isn’t a you thing, it is a my thing. If you can’t handle me, it is not worth the investment. I may initially seem to intentionally test the relationship, aka simulate certain situations, to quickly build trust, or in the absence of trust, build a case to end the relationship.
The entp is far more loyal than the ENTJ, but he also messy. If he is late, it to the entp is a betrayal of trust if you use a mistake against him. Ofc certain reasonability applies, but if you actively seek vulnerability to exploit, the entp will not fight with you, but against you.
Its funny ENTJ require loyalty when they are some of the most disloyal. Lol. I keep my ENTJ sis at a distance. 😂 my loyalty runs laps around her.
