    NTJs with a difficult upbringing are more prone to paranoia, while the ones with nice upbringing are rather stable and make sense for the most of the time. My ENTJ romantic potential is often in such paranoid state essentially due to his bad childhood. He used to suffer a lot with minimal support and love from his family, so he learnt the survival mode at a very young age. He easily perceives things and especially people threatening and would dismiss emotional stuff for most of the time because he assumed those emotional stuff equals to stupidity and insanity - well, I'm the INTJ woman and, he's literally the FIRST MAN in my life who accused me to be too emotional occasionally. This can somewhat be seen from his two past relationships with women with Autistic tendency. He's a very standard NT man who stereotypically won't get along well with any F type. He hates to express feelings as well. If he believed he unintentionally expressed them, he would find excuse to cover it up. I still remember the week when we travelled and lived together, he criticized my messages when we were apart before. He told me they were downright stupid and lack of reason when in fact, he positively respond my messages in a lot of times and flirted back with me (he even initialed video calls containing sex before). He drove 9hrs for picking me up, but on the whole way, he criticized harshly about how romance does not make sense and suggested me that men nowadays are all crazy, crappy and unreliable if I were to be more active in dating. It was very hard for me to find a space to interject my respond when he was speaking at a high mood. We both significantly value rationality and think this is one big part that lacks in today's society, but it seems that our attitudes towards this issues differ. I really want to tell him that the important thing is to find a light path within chaos and, it is where our inner peace locates. I assume some parts of the paranoia stem from the fear of unable to change situation and the situation might influence on them, and also, the fear of being a real outcast. However, I also think to suggest something to ENTJ, you ought to be very tactful and probably, to think about the ENTJ part to be the "King" and you yourself is the Advisor role - it is not saying to literally treat ENTJ like King, but more of the tact when it comes to suggestion; a long-term relationship/marriage is a kind of collaboration and it is inevitable that one person will be more dominate,

    I was tested by my ENTJ romantic potential when travelling together. It really hurted me tbh, at least at that moment. He was testing my loyalty and as INTJ, I sile ntly knew where he was coming from and what came through his mind.

    • @lizzieh431
      @lizzieh431 2 місяці тому

      I'm probably not that easily to read compared to other people he met and I'm reversed in expressing feelings just like him. He was testing my feelings and loyalty to him by exaggerating his story with his two exes and one of his female friends - which I detected later on, was at least partially untrue. But my feelings were hurted when he tested me and I'd never forget about it unless there's something to compensate from him in the future. While still having a lot of feelings for him, his behaviors killed my motivation wanting to meet and travel with him again.

    My last ENTJ woman, wanted me to cut ties with one person after another. To show her, that I loved her. No stopping in sight: Friends, family, work coleagues, whatever. Told her, that she is isolating me. Please be kind to my people, I asked. She answered with Entitlement. I mirrored her, she became aggressive. I hope, I had an exception of an ENTJ. She definitively failed my loyalty testing: to just respect my feelings. I feel disgusted seeing her being the nicest person to literally everyone, who is not my friend. So she is able to be nice, but she doesn't want it to be, for her partner. This leads to coercive control. Made her look stupid as a breakup gift. And I still miss her, damn. Btw. don't loyalty test your partners, it's toxic because it destroys the trust of your partner to you, should he/she find out. Period. Btw. never mirror a psychopath, they become aggressive. (Vaknin, Budapest) I get why people think, ENTJs are psychopaths, because some are... I still like you guys, just stay away from my people! kind regards, an INTJ

    What an absurdly bad take on greed. We economists do not equate greed and self interest. Self interest is in an economic sense is the rational pursuit of individuals maximizing utility. One does not need to act greedily to do this. You can maximize utility from acting altruistically or through cooperation. Greediness, on the other hand, is the maximization of material wealth, oftentimes at the expense of maximizing utility. One can absolutely maximize material wealth without maximizing utility, or vice versa.

    Spot on. You don't get rid of greed by getting rid of capitalism, you just prevent them from slaking it through free association and trade, and you force them to use violent coercion instead.

    There are non-authoritarian forms of socialism. Many are even compatible with the self-interest driven markets. One of the most basic is where workers have ownership over the companies they work in. There are also systems like anarchism that by definition are not authoritarian. Mutualism is a form of anarchism where markets are still the primary way the economy flows.

    • @Angrycapitalist
      @Angrycapitalist 6 місяців тому

      I would view those as still being a form of capitalism; private ownership and private control or direction *One example would be the Cooperative form of organization under the current legal structure

    • @robertmartin6800
      @robertmartin6800 6 місяців тому

      Worker ownership of the means of production would be private ownership of the means of production, or capitalism. When the farmer owns his own farm, he's a capitalist, when the baker own his own bakery he's a capitalist. Socialism is state ownership and control of the means of production, it's incompatible with private control.

    • @joshfuerbringer4042
      @joshfuerbringer4042 6 місяців тому

      @@robertmartin6800absolutely not true. Capitalism is not about private ownership or public ownership, it is about the relationship of capital and labour. A farmer who owns and works on his own farm is not a capitalist because there is not surplus value generated from his labour. The farmer gets to keep the entire difference between his input and the market price (output) of his labour. However, a capitalist who buys a farm and pays people to work on it keeps the same difference despite not using his own labour in the process.

    • @stealthemoon8899
      @stealthemoon8899 6 місяців тому

      @@Angrycapitalist I may be mistaken, but I believe it is capitalism when production is privately owned by people who don't use it themselves but hire others to use it and profit off of them. If the workers own the factories they work in, this definition doesn't apply.

    I had this one playing in the background with my speaker turned up while I was doing chores. It's a shame this isn't a topic that's even talked about on a surface level in public education, but it is relieving to find a podcast that can talk about it in a way for someone who doesn't have the background doesn't feel like they're being talked down to for not knowing this. Great episode!

    I'll be the first to admit that I wasn't tracking on who Charles Munger was, but I feel like you were dead-on when you said putting an emphasis on studying those who came before us. This is just personal expiereince, not based in fact, but from what I've seen it really seems like there isn't as big of a focus nowadays. It's really cool to hear that reflected in someone else. It was really interesting to hear how similar our brains work, and where they differ. I make shortcuts for memories in my head, sometimes to my detriment. Often times I feel like I remember the first thing I learned about that topic and kind of have to work myself back to the actual memory. It works for shorter, lower-effort things like studying for an exam where you're just trying to remember the keywords for multiple-choice answers, I feel like I really fall short on "summary" answers. I don't know if this is related, but I almost feel unable to learn things I don't want to or don't interest me, even if I'm actively trying to learn it. You can be honest bro, is it time to seek therapy? lmaoo
