- Biggest Zwift Run ever. Believed to be around 1200 finishers in the 5K with star guests Mo Farah & Jan Frodeno.
It wasn't a race per se but I thought I would treat it like one and plenty of runners to chase and be chased.
19:26 my best 5K since the summer and pre calf tear so improving on my recovery from that.

Wow that’s amazing!!! Do you need a special treadmill to do this???!
Not really. If you have a foot pod (e.g. Stryd, Garmin or the Zwift RunPod) can use that on any treadmill. However some treadmillls (like my one) are "Smart" and can transmit the speed that Zwift can pick up directly.
What was Mo's time?
He wasn’t going fast as I overtook him at about 7 mins in.
First time looking at Zwift running. I am always on a bike. This looks very nice!!
Yeah lot more fun staring at the wall for sure! Bit like on the bike on Zwift, the pain of the effort is real though!
Still waiting for my Noble Treadmill ordered 20th October!!! Now delayed until January. But all the Zwift videos are helpful and really looking fwd to getting some indoor Miles in to help increase my overall fitness 👍

Apparently Mo has a Woodway 4front treadmill clocking in at a starting price of £14k - but he’s had it modified to go faster than the rather pedestrian (for him) 20kph.
Yeah I recall it has featured in some of his own videos. I guess there was a time I might have liked a treadmill that went over 20 kph but I think I can "cope" these days LOL. As I recall you can get upgrades for the Woodway that allows it go faster than the baseline 20 kph. Have you ever run on one? I haven''t. Generally thought of as being the "best" treadmill but I could buy a lot of shoes for £14K if not a divorce first!
@@TimGrose ha ha I know what you mean - the other half grumbles from time to time over how much I spend on running. And that’s the stuff she knows about 🤣
No never tried one but how much better can they be than the usual good gym quality treadmills? I imagine not much of at all. I’ll more than happy with my £900 Reebok job.
@@josephgonzalez_ Yeah you wonder what you are paying for. The MYRUN I have is kind of at the upper end of a domestic treadmill but a lot of time it feels little different to say the £10K Life Fitness ones at Colets I used to use. OK you might pay a lot for a nice screen, powerful motor and top end speed but you still have to do the running. Besides the screens on treadmills are largely too low for me anyway.
I passed Mo (then taking it easy) at about 7 mins into the actual run and here 15:17 in the stream!
