Personally I would love the whole Mallorcan northern mountain chain added to Zwift. Lots of varied terrain and gradients and some classic climbs inc Sa Collobra.
Nothing but LOVE for the Epic KOM. Got me my Zwift Concept bike. Many hours spent climbing, transformed my cycling, crazy fond memories going up through that snow.
1 Gavia from both Ponte di Legno and Bormio-Sta Caterina 2 Mortirolo with its 4 ascents: Monno, Edolo-Doverio-Aprica, Grossio and Mazzo 3 Stelvio from its 3 ascents: Bormio, Sta Maria and Prato

personal top 3 1: Innsbruck forward KOM 2: Epic KOM forward (with the radio tower. let's not mess around here) 3: Box Hill forward Would love to see the Angliru in zwift. Only to force a certain two times Commonwealth games participant up it
Passo Giau is the prettiest climb I've ever done in real life. It's not as long as Stelvio, but it's still a beast. The view from the pass is truly stunning. I'd love to go back there again in reality and in Zwift.
I would love to see the Col de Galibier including col de Télégraphe (18k, 7%) (Valloire side) in Zwift. I love the Alpe de Zwift, for a heavy weight like me it takes forever, but it’s worth the pain!
love alpe du zwift and its got me hooked so much im going over to do it in real time September next year and cant wait ,recon ill find it harder than zwift but more enjoyable ,ps if i ever wear a towel around my neck like that in your no 10 please pull it tight and be done with me
Rouvy has the Col du Tourmalet as an AR video, along with hundreds of other iconic climbs and routes like Mont Ventoux, The Stelvio, Gavia, climbs in the Dolomites, loads... so many places in the Alps and Pyrenees. You can read about it here on the blog and ride the route which has been created with real video and real gradients! ;-) blog.rouvy.com/en/372/Col-du-Tourmalet-Climb-in-the-Pyrenees
I got into cycling largely because of an anime called Yowamushi Pedal, so I'd love it if they added two that are talked about in the show, one fictional and one real. The fictional one is the rear entrance to the school, which is a 2km 12% grade. The real one is in Hakone Japan which is shared by the famous relay marathon Hakone Ekiden leg 5 on day 1 from Odawara to Lake Ashi. The full distance is 21km and about a 850m elevation gain.
If I had the zwift I would think both sides of Mount Hamilton would be a good one. It’s just by San Jose California and it’s been featured in a The Amgen Tour of California several times. The west side is 32 kilometers with 2 false summits a nearly flat zone and then a wall. 5 switchbacks right at the end. The east side is steeper but shorter. 27 kilometers but it maxes the gradient at 24.5% But this side was a surprising solo stage win by a 21 year old back on the tenth anniversary of the race. San Jose to San Jose. Stage 3?4? 2016. It started at a community center and all 160 rides stayed together through the massive sprint in Livermore but as soon as the first climb came 22 riders left and by the time mount Hamilton came up the break away had 4:35 over the peleton as the road kicked up one ride shot out of the group a put almost 2 minutes on the breakaway. He crashed on the quimby decent and only 4 k to go on metcalf rd he hit the wall and still won with 1:42
Mont Ventoux or Colle delle Finestre would be awesome to have on Zwift. I even can help with names - Mont Zwiftoux and Colle delle Zwiftestre. You're welcome ;-)
Rouvy has the Stelvio as an AR video with avatar overlays, along with hundreds of other iconic climbs and routes like Mortirolo, Mont Ventoux, The Stelvio, Gavia, climbs in the Dolomites, loads... so many places in the Alps and Pyrenees.
Reverse Epic kom + radio mast was the third session i did on zwift followed by Innsbruck. Love climbing, felt a little sick at the mast though (didnt think it was part of my route so when my guy turned right up that climb i was was already close to my max).
I would add Los Patios from Bogota, Colombia, which is an amazing 6 km climb with 400m of elevation gain, it's always a super fun one to do. Also, not for the faint of heart, we also have La Culchilla very close to Bogota again 12km at 4.7%, an amazing experience because those climbs starts at 2600m of altitude of course :)
Mont Swiftoux of course. If I had a specific route to add (while not particularly challenging) would 100% be Richmond Park loop. RP is the only thing I miss having moved out of London.
Serra da Estrela (Torre) in Portugal, possible to climb from at least 4 diferent sides, for shore from Vide (30+ km/1600 climbing meters) and From Seia would be a very cool addition to Zwift...
A real life climb to include is the Vancouver BC to Whistler climb on the Sea to Sky Highway. Have done it a half dozen times and it is a beast that you truly appreciate at the end.
Radio tower coming after epic KOM must get most people next to Alpe Du Zwift as this one you know what you getting but first time up radio tower is a nasty surprise after Epic Kom
Great video, Stelvio and ventoux are great but very long, unless they chose latter sections. I'd choose something like Luz Ardiden spectacular switchbacks and scenery.
Agree with the review of the Innsbruck climb, nearly killed me the first time ! I'd love Watopia to have Yorkshires own Chimney Bank thrown in ( that nearly kills me every time ! )
Just because it's local to me, I'd love to see the road from Mt. Baldy Village to the ski lift parking lot. It's not very long, but parts are very steep and it has been used on the Amgen California tour.
I actually really like the reverse innsbruck Kom, those 16% sections are awesome! I always get excited when i check the calender and see innsbrucks coming up. Its a shame its like 3 days a month.
Well, I've been Zwifting a week and have already done one of these haha, I did Box Hill yesterday, without even knowing it was on the top 10 list. Definitely quite the leg burner. as for real life climbs that should be added, how about the Angliru.
Rosedale Chimney would be great on Zwift and a brilliant addition to Yorkshire with a few liberties to actual geography. Just a wall of a climb with 30% at it's steepest. Tried to get up it on a single speed once, what an idiot! Though thinking about it, i don't think any smart trainers can quite replicate anything that steep yet.
Tianmen Mountain aka the forbidden road is an 11km climb in China with 99 hairpins and an average gradient of 10%, it would be a fantastic addition to zwift
Im about to buy a smart trainer for playing zwift over the winter inf finland. What you people think is it enough to buy one around 500 euros with 10-15% hillsimulation or should i pay almost 1000 euros for 20% simulation?
any of the wahoo smart trainers will be perfect.. the core is probably the best option on a budget! also if you follow the link in my latest videos to wahoo you'll be helping out the channel! :D
Favourite top 3 "climbs": 1. Legsnapper 2. Watopia Forward KOM 3. Libby Hill I would wanna see the hilly part of the Tour of Flanders to be introduced as a whole, nothing like a nice all out interval session!

The Radio Tower should have been in the top 10. I'd like to see Mt. Washington in New Hampshire(USA)in game. It is known for one of the toughest hillclimb races in the world at 7.6 miles in length, has an average grade of 12% with extended sections of 18% and the last 50 yards is at 22%!
How do I get good at climbing chris? Just keep suffering up the alp or by losing weight (I'm 92 kg ex bodybuilder/ power lifter). I did a time trial the other day ,the one with the 2km at the end and was 10 kg heavier than everybody else in the race .
I watched your guide on climbing bikes and wheels and maybe shouldn't have used tt bike and zipp 808 .I wondered why everybody was using road bikes in a time trial!

Zwift should have an option to point it to a Strava segment and it would automagically generate a local copy of that segment for you to ride. That way you can just point it to any climb or sprint and you're ready to go. All the elevation data is available from Google. Easy, peasy, Zwift...y.

I hate Keith Hill with a passion, it's the last 1km that always kills me, where it seems to really ramp up and you have nothing left to give. 1. Alpe du Zwift 2. Innsbruck reverse 3. Reverse Epic KOM 4. Epic KOM 5. Innsbruck Forward KOM 6. Keith Hill 7. Fox Hill 8. Box Hill 9. NYC Forward KOM 10. Libby Hill

The Radio Tower is the hardest. Next is Sagan Hill (the last of the Richmond Trio)
How do we get light weight wheels. I’ve been up Alpe Du Zwift a couple times and haven’t gotten anything. Do I need to ride a certain time.
You have to keep going up the climb and - if you're lucky - you will get the wheels. Apparently, it takes and average of 13 attempts to get them.
