The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival by John Vaillant
JOHN VAILLANT - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
The tiger has seen you a hundred times, when you have only seen him once.
Oh yeah? Could he guess my favorite color then?
You only see the tiger if the tiger wants to be seen.
more likely you still haven't seen it.
If you see the Tiger, it hasn't made up its mind to eat you yet.
You should flip it around: While you may have seen a tiger once, he has seen you a hundred times. 🤟🏻
Tigers: another dangerous af animal, we don't have in Australia.
🤣🤣🤣
You have so many venomous and poisonous animals that I would rather have tigers than what you have down under
I'm surprised y'all don't import em!
Would you like some Canadian bears?
Not anymore!
I don't think some people really think HOW TERRIFYING it must be, to be hiking in a dense temperate rainforest and stumble upon A TIGER THAT'S INTERESTED in going after you! I admire Tiger's a ton but they really are such an apex predator.. Capable of SO much. Fast, agile, stealthy, aggressive when needed, can jump insane heights.. They might as well be sci-fi creatures compared to most other things we'd ever run into out in nature..
I never hike alone dude seriously
Only rarely do I.
Your content is very well researched and edited extremely well! I think it’s criminal you don’t get more consistent views. It’s always something interesting and cool. Thank you!
Thanks for another banger vid! I know the last couple episodes didn't do so hot, but just keep it up and keep experimenting, it's all going to be fine, i'm sure.
Thanks for another excellent presentation 👏
Thanks for watching
Been hooked to your channel since start of 2023. Keep it up, the story telling suits your voice and the videos are great
Love your work
Thank you so much 😀
Your videos are such an essential component to my ecosystem thank you
If you ever had a house cat that liked to sneak up and ambush you, think of how many times that cat genuinely surprised you and imagine having the same reaction time to a tiger. We get watched by mountain lions in the national park sometimes, big cats are better at hunting stuff than humans are at noticing them
The story of the man who was saved when his dog bit a tigers tale, driving the tiger off, could have gone the opposite way. Dogs can actually create unnecessary tiger dangers for owners, since, when they encounter something they're afraid of, they have a tendency to run back to their trusted owner, potentially annoying or enticing tigers, who can follow them to humans. Also, not all dogs are wise with tigers and, in any case, tigers see dogs as potential food.
it does depend on the kind of dog in question and the tiger you're dealing with.
if it's big enough (like irish wolf hound big) most tigers might just deem the whole encounter too risky to engage in, even if the tiger would win the fight 100%, they're looking for victims, not opponents.
now if you're dealing with an adult male tiger that routinely goes after brown bears, you're SOL anyway, but generally just having a dog there detecting that a tiger is present long before you do can be a big help, since they're ambush predators and might just retreat as soon as they've lost the element of surprise.
Elite channel 🔥
They are such beautiful creatures...
Whether you’re an artist or an engineer, cats are nearly perfect.
Tiger of Taiga
Thanks
Let it be known, if you see a tiger in a forest, it's because they let you. And some people take that as a reason to kill them. Tigers deserve better. Glad I can always come to you for good tiger videos pal. Great work.
I like the video but my suggestion is a change in the tone of the narration. It's monotone and seems like uninterested. I truly say this with the best intention.
4:43 I’m sorry but that took me out of the video for a second 😂
I wanna be a member to support this awesome channel, but the supermarket isn't paying me enough 😔 BUT I SUPPORT MA BOY THOMAS IN A OTHER WAY💪 (by liking all his video's)

People kill more tigers than tigers kill people.
