I have their system and I love their innovation but it’s worth mentioning it’s weaknesses. And there are MANY! But I will still state that the results you can achieve are worth the hurdles. 1. The slider will tip a few degrees at it goes from left to right when on a tripod. Even when you have it really cranked down. 2. The rubber belt creases if you leave it between shoots in the same position. Where it wraps the pullys, it causes a kink and that kink creates a bump or jolt in your footage when it tries to slide. So I try to store mine in a different position every time. 3. Even tiny amounts of grit on the rail causes the slide to jolt. You have to keep it super clean. 4. The feet constantly want to back out of their screws holes when in travel. I have lost many feet. There are other issues but I will again state that the results are worth the pain. I love this thing.
My main problem is how shaky the footages are... I bought the SlideONE v2 with three headONEs and I tried macro work with it but it's just plain unusable . I would love your input cause i need to make a review

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would happily watch one of your videos every day. BUT, when you post a video like this I appreciate how much effort you put in to creating each one. I'm happy to wait for however long it takes to watch reviews made this well. Superb 👍🏼

I'm not sure what your day job is, but if it isn't Marketing or Video Production, you are really are missing out on your calling. That intro would be a commercial that any of the companies you showed should be proud of! Great review as always. Only wish I had the budget you do for the gear.

I've never seen a video where he has said what it is. I've run across other UA-camrs that originally started as a hobby and then they got really good at it. I feel his videos from years ago were good, but the quality of the more recent ones are at a professional level and he could certainly get a job in that area.

Best edelkrone video so far! I’d love it if you’d do a video focused on how you’ve set up the app in real world situations using all the features. Sometimes edelkrone skips small but important steps in their videos which leads to frustrations. Thanks for posting this one!

Thank you Faruk. It is a fantastic product, but very expensive and not reachable by many. If I added correctly, the setup as shown is about $5K.

Full credit to Edlekrone, I bought this product and they completely refunded my money. It stuttered constantly and was not smooth at all. I spent days calibrating it to. I worked with their trouble shooting team as well but nothing helped the slider run smooth and embarrassed me on set :-( They told me that the 1st few batches had faults in them but I don't know if I can believe that. They are a great company thought

Kessler Crane's 2nd Shooter with the stealth 22.5" slider still reigns supreme for me. I've tried Edelkrone before and I could see noticeable shake and dips in the track. I've thrown my stealth around, got sand in it, and it's still smooth as butter! Would love to see you review that one.

Finally! I've been waiting for this video.
I've owned the first version of the slider plus with all of the additional modules. I instantly jumped on the new one when it came out hoping that their promo videos were true and that it was ultra quiet (the first one was far from quiet and could only be used to capture B-roll). Sadly, not only is it not quiet, the problems I've had with it are so vast and the back and forth with the company in trying to correct these issues has resulted in... nothing. It sits on a shelf and has never once been used successfully. I'm glad you've been able to get yours to work and have performed some nice shots with it, but mine is a dust collecting disaster.

Hi Asude. Though I'm sure this avenue has been exhausted already, as I had come to know Ashley at your company quite well with the amount of time we spent back and forth on the issues I was having, I'm happy to take another shot at it. Just know that this was something your tech staff threw their arms up in the air about and gave up on after sending out multiple replacement modules and several troubleshooting calls and videos. They gave up to the point of sending me my money back on this. I also own MANY of your other, non motorized, camera accessories. But if you'd like to take another shot at helping to get my unit working I'm happy to try again, as it just sits beside me day after day mocking me. I should have kicked myself for believing the new one would be as silent as the promo videos made it seem after the debacle of the first one; everything I shot with the first motion module and action module sounds like I've got a Volkswagen Golf idling in every shot. How ironic you post this video...I've had the slider plus med. and I love it!!! However, mastering it without an aid like the motion control is challenging. I just ordered the Steady Module and it arrives this Thursday!!! Can't wait...and now I think I will be adding the Motion Control System sooner than expected!!! Thanks for the Vid!!! Edelkrone originally said this kit would work with my cine cam- an ursa mini 4.6k. I bought a "pro kit" and everything. they have since given up on that-and rightly so. The kit could not handle the weight of even a striped down ursa mini. It was too bad, because I saw so much potential. But: this is for DSLR and M4/3 class cameras only. make sure you know that if you're lusting after it.
I sent mine back. they were pretty nice about it.

No more criticism in your videos? Everything cool? No cons? When I first learned about this system about a year ago, I immediately fell in love with it, but when I researched it further, I found many complaints about the relative noisiness for instance, obvious from your video too btw, preventing usage in filming interviews, etc. I also read about vulnerability of the system. Any thoughts or comments on this? Or are you switching from reviewing to selling?
