How loud is the system? I used the 'old' motion and pan adapter, but the slider was too loud to use it in a live studio environment.

Hi Sascha, I currently own the Edelkrone Slider Plus and the Action Module and mostly use it for timelapse. There it is pretty annoying if you set up the whole thing and start a timelapse (e.g a timelapse of the milky way over several hours) and after one hour you realize that the slider stopped moving because there was just a slight, not even noticeable incline of some degree.... Now your complete shot is ruined and you spent the whole night out in the dark for nothing. So yea i really like that the system is very compact and fast to set up, but they could have really improved this feature for that amount of money.
Hi Marcel, I can totally understand where you´re coming from, and YES, that´s pretty annoying. I do own the same slider with action & target module and I had the same problem like you before. It turned out to be a mistake I made myself. Right now, I can´t remember what exactly I did wrong since I barely make any time-lapse movies. However, I do agree that these two modules are a bit overpriced especially since you cannot update them.
But referring to their new system, if it works just like they show on their commercials, I think it´s worth the money. In any case, good luck with your gear and try your time-lapse-stuff again with different settings!;-)
How strong is the motion system? Can it do a angled (rising) slide or a vertical slide? Also is it quieter than earlier versions?

Can you use a C100 or C300 with this?
? would you need the focus system , if you were running a sony a6500 , for that small of a move i would think it would track an object easy, better than say my sony a7sii.
so can you use this target mode with the focus module and everything, and set a course for the slider and modules to go through, put it in stop motion mode, and essentially do exactly what is done in the sample videos except frame by frame, making adjustments to the figure between advancing frames? To get a smooth animation with pans and focus adjustments in the mix as well? I'm still confused about how stop motion mode works
what's the size of the slider in your demo that fits in a backpack? small or large slider plus x?

sorry but what app are you using in the video? I have the motion kit and the app I use does not have these screens that I see in the video. the app I use is the SliderPlus. Are there any other apps that I can use with the slider kit?

for the time lapse feature, is it possible to use this for stop motion animation? What I mean is, can I make a change/movement in the subject, then advance the pan/tilt motion a small increment and advance the frame, vice verse? But still on on automated set of motions I have dictated with the app?

Unfortunately, we do not recommend operating Motion Kit with your Canon c200 and with a setup heavier than 7lb as we do not receive optimal results with your camera because the Motion Kit because the center of gravity adjustment cannot be done successfully with a body like your camera's body.

Using the Pro upgrade kit, you should be able to use a RED Scarlet (up to 14lbs).

What happened?
@@znelson32 Umm first unit was so loud that it is unusable if your recording audio 2nd version only slightly quieter failed to pair with the app reliably then after sitting unused stopped working altogether. After many hrs trying to get it working we just gave up. They are making a decent effort to remedy the problem and upgrading the units but it doesn't excuse the fact that we have had 10k worth of invested gear sitting and unable to work They have already had 2 version revisions in a fairly short time which alludes to the product not being fully tested before they brought it to market. In effect using paying customers to beta test which is not cool If I wanted to be part of a crowdfunding venture, I would have done so.
