Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to demonstrate how you mix your paints, and cell activators. You and Phil were so generous with your time to make this! You are an excellent teacher! I love your work and appreciate your talent so much! Thank you so much!

Awesome !!! My first time seeing a tutorial that explains how to make these cell activators, pouring medium and base. I have been using a regular pouring medium and American Flood Floetrol. I can't wait to try your recipe. Thank you for the time you spend making videos.
I gave up painting because I had such a stack of finished paintings that no-one else wanted. Everyone admired my work but no-one parted with any cash, and no-one knows better than you how we need cash to carry on. I had no idea how to go about making cell activator. After watching your brilliant video I have the knowledge that I needed, and I’m all fired up to do my first wrecked creation. My mind is whirring. I’m so thrilled to have tuned into you tonight. You’re the TOPS in my book. Thank you SO much, from little old New Zealand at the bottom of the world
I have just found you're most educational video. The best one yet. You and your hubby are a dynamic duo. Now I know what products i need then I can begin to try this myself. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us beginners.

Great tutorial out of all videos I have watched you was the MOST helpful. I am new to this type of crafting relationship. Thank You easy explanations of how it works.

I have a puppy pool as well, so I am getting the spinning process set up too. Thank you so much again for being so kind to let your admirers know so that they can aspire to create wonderful pour paintings. Linda
Thank you so much for this well done tutorial - I love your art and wondered how you mixed your paints and what you used - I am a newbie and have not tried the bloom technique yet but getting more confident with each pour I do.
Followed your recipe again, and understood it a lot better, i have to get Doggy Pool yet, and all the ingredients on a smaller scale, until i see if it works for me, i hope so, as i love what you do and what you achieve, it is amazing to say the least, i thank you for taking the time to show the Public how you do your work, i am now a young 76 year old still very fit and love doing Paint pouring at the moment, i stay up all night sometimes preparing pouring and cleaning up, as i like you work indoors due to lack of another space, it is very time consuming, but i love working with the Paint, and i learnt everything on my Computer just watching the Artists doing what they do, and now there is YOU !!!! here i go with another new one WOWIE !!!!!! Thank you Kathleen and your helper Phil.
@@PaintPouringbyKathleenMiller Thank you Kathleen for the support and positivity, only time will tell, i will let you know when i have done the first one, but i have to do a lot of shopping and setting up first, so it will take some time, but i will definitely get back to you, you are so sweet, thank you for that, nice to know People care.

Wow, I just found you today. I can’t thank you enough, I took so many notes and can’t wait to get the products so I can mix my paints. I’m new,, but have been watching and studying videos for about a year. Just can’t get myself started. I think you might have gotten me motivated so I thank you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Props to you for doing an updated “B,PM,CA” video! This was perfectly done... precise, and to the point! Curious if anyone out there has found a good substitute for the Vivid Enamel to use with the rustoleum triple thick for the PM. The Vivid enamel is far to expensive and difficult to bring into Canada!
Thank you Kathleen. I kept hearing "Black Magic" but did not know what it was . I love the comments from your husband stressing and repeating. You two are a great team. Bravo to both.
Kathy, your name is in LIGHTS!! this step by step information is was so helpful, we just posted the Video on the Colouarte Vivid Enamel page, Thank you

I have been listening to videos for the past year and I cannot get clear understandings because the they scatter all over and don't explain everything very well. Thank you AGAIN!!!
I love the way you teach. I started when we had the first lockdown. I struggled with colours. Iive in Ireland. And dont know if anyone in the west of Ireland does it. So I love what you do Thanks you.💚
Ok, I'm definitely saving this. Thanks I think. Gonna watch the whole thing tomorrow. I've been having a lot of problems with my acrylic pour compositions till the point I'm beginning to wonder if our weird changes in temperature, humidity in and outdoors is affecting my flows. I'm a beginner trying to figure this out. Gonna be more precise in my measurements and try out your recipes. Thanks!
Tks your info is invaluable I saw a tip on straining the floetrol to put a bit of stocking directly over the bottle etc attached by a rubber band & as you pour the floetrol it’s strained & you can just screw the top back on 👍🏻😊 Luv you tutorials they have been a great help in navigating my way thru this pouring medium
Excellent tutorial! I tried for weeks and weeks to get American floetrol to work using many complicated recipes to no avail! I firmly agree that the Aussie floetrol is worth the cost!
EXCELLENT explanations of the various processes you use for recipes, cell activators, pouring mediums and base. Thank you so much; so much clearer than other explanations I've heard. Looking forward to seeing your future projects. Have a GREAT week on purpose!!
Hello, I am just getting back into paint pouring after a few years and was excited to find your video. I was wondering if I could mix a larger amount of pouring medium and store in a bottle instead of making it in each cup. I have dexterity issues and look for shortcuts in mixing when possible. Thank you for sharing, now back to this and other of your videos.
Kathy, I have watched this video a couple of times and taken notes each time. I am a beginner and want to do this right. I don’t want to have spent a bunch of money on stuff I don’t need. I love your videos and all the info you give. Thank you so much, now I feel I can get started and give this a try. 😊😊❤❤❤we wish me 🍀
I have been watching you for a long time ave gotten brave to try pouring paint on my own. I just love watching you be creative in your painting. I live in Montana and I am 67 years old I wish I had started sooner in my life.
Omg. Thank u so much . I've been so confused trying to figure out all the types of paints and pouring mediums. Thank you thank u. Your pics are always so beautiful.
Ti ringrazio tantissimo, Kathleen. Anche se io, purtroppo, non parlo inglese ho capito come si preparano i colori e il resto. Sei bravissima. Grazie, grazie. Un abbraccio 🤗
Hi Kathleen! I so appreciate that you answer the questions and comments that are asked! So here’s one more. I’m not able to find the color place ready to use satin at our Walmart. I can find it online in a flat or semigloss. It’s a grab and go I think. Is there anything else you could recommend? Thanks!
Just finished watching this video and took lots of notes. It was an excellent video with a lot of information. You are an excellent instructor! My main reason for watching it was I wanted to learn about cell activators. I do have one question: Where can I buy Australian Floetrol???
Thank you for all the information, I'm a new pouring, I've always worked with pastels, but I wanted to try this as it looks like so much fun and looks amazing too.
Kathy.....Thank you Thank you for this tutorial!!! I have been watching videos from so many different people over the past year and I am just sitting here and not painting. This video of yours has just put me in paint mode. I especially loved when you did your cell activators and after mixing, you showed how the ca springs off the stick as opposed to flowing like you normally want to see. I have been wanting to do a bloom for so long and now I think I can do it!!! Thank You
I. want to thank you so very much I stayed up last night to finish watching this, and I got so much insight. I have been having problems with the base, or the pillow that some call it, and I was not doing it right, I guess. I had clumps. But I hope it works by just using the paint, and also the recommendation of yours, to add Golden fluid, so I need to invest in that. I was wondering how to change those colors, and I was even asking some, and wondering, do they just buy black paint? I am inspired, you do wonderful work, and I know myself and others look to folks like you who have mastered this, for inspiration, so when you share, that tells us you care. I appreciate it, God bless you and your hubby. So cute, he enhances your tutorials.
Thank you so very much for your reply to my other comment and the link to your recipe video. What a great presentation and clarity that I needed. I took pretty good notes and will sort through them, review the video again if needed. I have one question if you have the time, please. I understand that I will not achieve your results if I do not use Amsterdam products, which I will later. If I use basic paint to start does it matter if I use flat, eggshell, semi-gloss, or high-gloss? I'm so grateful for the time and effort you both put forward to help us all.
I am new to this. I tied using ready pour today for my first try. I am so excited to try your recipes. I did write this down. Thank you to you and your husband. He is a keeper. How many husbands would help like he does.
Thank you SO much for sharing your recipes. Im a newbie and it now makes sense to me. Also I was so confused and your husband really helped me out with his comments. Now going to your FB page! Appreciate yall.
You are amazing the way you explain everything was so understanding thank you so much I never would have thought to use polyurethane great idea beautiful work thank you so much
I am new to your channel, so I am going back and viewing previous videos. THANK YOU for taking the guesswork out of your swipes!! I have so many different materials and now I realize that I DONT have anything that I actually require. Ha! (Excepting Amsterdam paints!) After I leave this comment I’m going directly to your shop and getting EXACTLY what you use. I DID watch the entire Three Part Instructional video, and will watch it again I am sure. Looking forward to possibly achieving something even close to your beautiful creations. 😊
Yes, I watched the whole thing. I took notes. Oh my goodness! I have so much to learn. This is some over-the-top advanced stuff. Your information is clear and concise, I appreciate that. Thank you so much.❤❤
Thank U Kathy, No one explains formulas like you do. The Vivid Polypour & Vivid ereFluid. Also I did get a small 8 oz of Australian Floetrol. Ordered the 8 oz Aussie Floetrol from Aubrey Ewing from Pixel Paint DesignsI now have all of the ingredients that U have. Also glad to hear that you have note books of info and mark what pigments & paints U used for each pour.
Kathy I have looked in 4 local stores today for for the vivid. I even looked at sherwin williams , lowes, home depot, ask Google, and looked on your Walmart page and colour art I cannot find it from anywhere. Can you help please? I saw your Chantilly Lace... I sang that all the time when I was young, with my dad. AND GUESS WHAT...YOUR CELL ACTIVATOR WORKED. I WAS 💃 👯♀️ DANCING. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH. I was mixing 3 tbls and 1 pt paint and it would not do a thing. I HAVE CELLS!!! BIG HONKING CELLS!!!
I watch your video because I like to listen to you and Phil, going back and forth. I also like your colour pallet. I do not use your style of pouring or use a turntable. I enjoy watching other videos and they are numerous around the world. Lots of entertainment and a view into other peoples artistic style. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for all the wonderful paint recipes. I'm going to try the stained glass one that you did on the oval canvas but I'm gonna try it 1st on a 9 x12. I can't wait.
Hi Kathy I 🥰 loved your video today soooo much better I was able to take a lot of notes and only had to watch it once!!! Your hubby was so good today with his limited words of wisdom!! My heart ❤️ soared like a hawk today!!! I was so happy 😀 no offense to him because he is so great to have around he does so much with your production and is a good helper. He let you share your wonderful words of knowledgeable formulas and it helped so much!!! Thank you 🙏 😊 thank you Evvy of Santa Maria, CA.

Thank you Kathleen, this was a very clear and concise video. One question I have, are the enamel and polyurethane you use for your pouring medium both water based or spirit based?
You are a superb teacher and so is your mighty assistant (who is so obviously in love with you)! this is the best explanation that I’ve ever seen on UA-cam. I’m gonna watch this a couple more times and take notes. I hope you do more instructional classes like this. I’d like to know more about the technique for the actual spin itself. For instance if the top right corner of the canvas has too much negative space,
Thank you for sharing your recipe for your creations that so love so very much. I hope to art with your technique very soon. God bless you and your camera person as well. Of course I’m subscribing, and i’m doing it all the way from Puerto Rico. Shalom !!!
Kathleen I am a beginner and have been too confused to start! Watching this video you have explained so clearly what I need to do these particular techniques where mediums, cells etc are concerned. Thank you for giving me the confidence to at long last begin this hobby, I am now so excited and trust your knowledge simply by the results in your art work. I have purchased canvasses and paints galore but they have been sitting there for ages not knowing this information or by reading so many conflicting recipes. Now I can start with these 3 techniques. Do you have a similar tutorial for the other styles of paint pouring? Thank you so very much.

I just happened upon this video & see I'm late to the party. Thank you for the very helpful info - I've already ordered the suggested supplies. Your husband's comments off camera made me chuckle; he reminded me of my husband. It might be the hair-do. 😊I'm looking forward to immersing myself in your videos - I have a lot of catching up to do!
Hello Kathy! I’m so grateful to find you on UA-cam! I’ve been dabbling in the pouring. & resin.. Struggling w obtaining cells, also have been bouncing around w little this & a little that! Hi Kathleen! I so appreciate that you answer the questions and comments that are asked! So here’s one more. I’m not able to find the color place ready to use satin at our Walmart. I can find it online in a flat or semigloss. It’s a grab and go I think. Is there anything else you could recommend? Thanks!
Sherwin Williams color to go
Just finished watching this video and took lots of notes. It was an excellent video with a lot of information. You are an excellent instructor! My main reason for watching it was I wanted to learn about cell activators. I do have one question: Where can I buy Australian Floetrol???
Fluid Art.co🥰
Thank you for taking time to make this video.
Much appreciated. Do you have a tutorial for your recipes for Dutch pours, and the other techniques?
My pleasure. I don't do Dutch pours.
You did a fantastic job explaining your recipe. Thank you.
My pleasure.
Thank you for all the information, I'm a new pouring, I've always worked with pastels, but I wanted to try this as it looks like so much fun and looks amazing too.
My pleasure.
Thank You
You go girl and thank you 🥰
I. want to thank you so very much I stayed up last night to finish watching this, and I got so much insight.
Thank you for your kind words🥰
Thank you so much! This is tremendously helpful.
Thank you for sharing not only your recipes but your talent and creativity.🎨
Thank you so much!
Yes you will get different results 🥰
Tu for your response and I understand about the results, NP.
My question was what type of base to use from a retailer here.
Tu again!!?
@@royrussell8531 I use satin also I don’t know where you live 🥰
Just came across your video. These were the questions I had. Thank you so much for sharing. I’m writing this down! 😊

Thank you Joyce🥰
Thank you for this. I've been gearing up for months. Haven't tried any techniques yet but am sooooo close!

That is so great to hear. The Vivid Enamel is only available at colourarte.com
I love your work keep it up you're a wonderful artist I am so inspired by you I watch you everyday
Thank you.
@@PaintPouringbyKathleenMiller you are so very welcome
I watch your video because I like to listen to you and Phil, going back and forth. I also like your colour pallet. I do not use your style of pouring or use a turntable. I enjoy watching other videos and they are numerous around the world. Lots of entertainment and a view into other peoples artistic style. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Roma.
Thank you for all the wonderful paint recipes. I'm going to try the stained glass one that you did on the oval canvas but I'm gonna try it 1st on a 9 x12. I can't wait.
Have fun.
Thanks you two for this informational video. I rewatched and wrote it all down.

Hi Kathy
I 🥰 loved your video today soooo much better I was able to take a lot of notes and only had to watch it once!!! Your hubby was so good today with his limited words of wisdom!! My heart ❤️ soared like a hawk today!!! I was so happy 😀 no offense to him because he is so great to have around he does so much with your production and is a good helper. Thank you Jenna Rose. Welcome.
Thank you Kathleen, this was a very clear and concise video. One question I have, are the enamel and polyurethane you use for your pouring medium both water based or spirit based?
Water🥰
@@PaintPouringbyKathleenMiller Thank you Kathleen
You are a superb teacher and so is your mighty assistant (who is so obviously in love with you)! this is the best explanation that I’ve ever seen on UA-cam. I’m gonna watch this a couple more times and take notes. I hope you do more instructional classes like this. I’d like to know more about the technique for the actual spin itself. For instance if the top right corner of the canvas has too much negative space,
Thank you Alma 🥰
Thank you for sharing your recipe for your creations that so love so very much. I hope to art with your technique very soon. God bless you and your camera person as well. Of course I’m subscribing, and i’m doing it all the way from Puerto Rico.
Shalom !!!
Welcome and thank you and we love Puerto Rico🥰
Kathleen I am a beginner and have been too confused to start! Watching this video you have explained so clearly what I need to do these particular techniques where mediums, cells etc are concerned. Thank you for giving me the confidence to at long last begin this hobby, I am now so excited and trust your knowledge simply by the results in your art work. I have purchased canvasses and paints galore but they have been sitting there for ages not knowing this information or by reading so many conflicting recipes. Now I can start with these 3 techniques. Do you have a similar tutorial for the other styles of paint pouring? Thank you so very much.
Thanks Cheryl. You can do it. No, although I have done them, I don't have a tutorial for flip cups and Ring pours at the moment.
SUPER HELPFUL LESSON, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, KATHLEEN, YOU ARE A WONDERFUL PERSON, I'M A 70 YEAR OLD MEXICAN WOMAN AND I'M TRYING TO LEARN HOW TO MAKE THIS PAINTING. MY BEST WISHES, GREETINGS AND BLESSINGS FROM 🇲🇩.

Thank you for such clear and simple descriptions. It is appreciated for anyone who enjoys learning .
Your work is beautiful as well.
Thank you Robin.
I just happened upon this video & see I'm late to the party. Thank you for the very helpful info - I've already ordered the suggested supplies. Your husband's comments off camera made me chuckle; he reminded me of my husband. As I was looking through your home page here, I saw that Phil is featured in some of the videos, & really had to smile seeing him because they have a similar look. It might be the hair-do. 😊I'm looking forward to immersing myself in your videos - I have a lot of catching up to do!
Thank you.
Hello Kathy! I’m so grateful to find you on UA-cam! I’ve been dabbling in the pouring. & resin.. Struggling w obtaining cells, also have been bouncing around w little this & a little that! Lol.. enjoying the process & techniques. I love the fact you don’t use silicone. I’m over it! .
You and Your husband make it a great experience. Especially when your great teachers!

Thanks so much to you both for all the amazing tutorials and all the fun watching you create, question why do you use 3x thick in Matte? Just notice it was matte on your Amazon shop and came over to the video to make sure, thanks Kathleen 🌹
Glossy won’t work I like matte. And thank you 🥰
