Santa is played by two people here. The fellow wearing the costume is Geoff's brother-in-law, not normally a performer in VP videos. The voice of Santa is Eli (pronounced like 'jelly'), the bald tenor in the group. Eli's the one doing the little descending harmonic minor riff when Geoff (pronounced 'Jeff') says he's going to do his stuff. Layers and layers to this one, a real treat for the ears!
I always have to giggle when he says "oh brother, etc". Cause Santa is played by Geoff's wife Kathy's brother.
They did 3 other NBC videos as well.... Kidnap The Sandy Claws, This Is Halloween and What's This.
These guys are extremely talented in everything they do.
And Geoff just released his cover of Jack’s Lament about a week ago, it’s amazing!!! A fantastic demonstration of his range and just how agile he his navigating across all of it in rapid succession. It’s a must-see 😊

You've just hit the tip of the Voiceplay iceberg. This is a great song, but it only shows a fraction of their talent. The bass Geoff also does his own solo work. They have a ton of Halloween content.
It ain’t better than the original that’s for sure
