    Influence and displacement on lead, force to trail. It’s still a geometry, just one side is influential.
    That still qualifies as a ‘perfect geometry’. Thats a good thing!

      The Apex is very much a Geometric shape!

      @@s3gtsthe whole thing is a shape. In force you have your ‘force’ moving into influence. The left vector in the overhead is influential, displaced. The right vector is the opposite.
      The two vectors you have on the ground are very different.

    Reminds me of the overhand golf method. But explained better

    Such understanding and explanation can only be found by Dave Ford. How far from reality is conventional Golf understanding! No wonder people hate golf lessons that make them worse,,,info being given by 99% of instructors is flat out hurtful.

      @@user-gz7fl1fm1t people have been lead into dullsville and brainwashed into thinking for themselves or getting outside your comfort zone is voodoo. If you really want to get better, staying in your comfort zone and having others think for you, is not the way to go. That’s why they named me Tinker, I’m not afraid to get out of my comfort zone and try NEW ways. So holds true for Dave, Diz and Tom who have been main attractions on this channel. Thanks

    david this is great. love practicing with feet pointing to left arm side vector. could you take a minute to distinguish between feel vs. real? and a little time on the set up with this practice motion in mind? i understand if you don't have time. i hate to ask so much. bit i get absolutely confused with feel vs real. Bill thanks for putting this up. i welcome anything you may be willing to share as well.

      Well, Feel and Real: Both are abstracts and both take time. Moreover open minded. It's a mindset of not giving up the Where more then the How. Practice hitting with the feet pointed more to Target and not Pulling the Ball too Left. In your Mind Hit as far to the Right as you can Handle.

      ok guys please don't laugh. i just returned from hitting a few balls set up just like this. i would set my feet and body facing the left stick or the target and swing back then down trying to hit right. what i'm thinking is when you said this is a side on game this drill teaches me I think to be facing the left quad with my body when I strike the ball. is that close.??

    • @s3gts
      @s3gts 2 місяці тому +1

      @@abs828 If your facing Left when you strike the ball, and the ball is going where you want it then it is real close! If you meant that your Right side is facing your Left Quad then you have figured out the Squeeze!

    Bill I am doing incredibly well with my ball striking since I have been following your vids
    Just one problem --tendency to pull shots left - no more slice
    Any tips to straighten it out a bit more.
    Thank you

      @@stoysrus Dave suggested to internally rotate your upper arms on you set up and the intention is to hold that rotation throughout the motion. Concentrating on the internal rotation of your lead arm keeps you from an early release , and I would agree with him 1000% for the fix which isn’t a band aide but a permanent fix. Hope that helps buddy

    Is the right foot parallel to the right vector?

    • @Wooduck
      @Wooduck  Місяць тому

      @@jonbraenovich1674 I won’t speak for Dave but I will speak for myself. The closer you can get it to parallel to the rear vector the better, same holds true with the target side vector. That insures the femurs are internal rotated which allows the pelvis to work correctly, I also see what I just explained as the brake of the lower body both right and left. Just my opinion but it works for me.
