Air India B747-400 last flight from Mumbai

All four remaining Air India Boeing B747-400 VT-EVA, VT-EVB, VT-ESO and VT-ESP are sold to AerSale Inc. In this video VT-EVA named Agra departed from Mumbai to Roswell via Everett as OMD223/Nomadic223. Nomadic Aviation Group flew VT-EVA from Mumbai to Roswell. In Roswell this aircraft will be converted to freighter or maybe scrapped. Boeing B747 was backbone of Air India but now it's gone.

I have flown air india 747 many times in the glorious 70's. The first time in 1974 and the plane was "emperor Shah Jahan" then in '75 and '77 and the planes were "Emperor Akbar and Emperor Rajendra Chola". Very sad to no longer be able to travel on this beautiful plane. My next trip to India (I hope) in November and it will be my farewell to my beloved India. I'm Italian, but my heart is all Indian

Felt very emotional watching the 747 depart from Mumbai for the last time. I have fond memories of flying in them in the 1980's mainly to the US to join my ship. Farewell Queen of the skies, there can never be anything close to it.

Flew on one the Air India 747-400 twice back in 2009 on VABB-OEDF route. I was 6 years old back then so I don't remember her name or registration. All I do remember is the in-flight experience like the meal, the big screen that played the movie etc. And the fight that happened on-board just an hour or so before landing XD. Had a talk with very friendly engineers and young graduates sitting across the aisle who were travelling for business who even let me play in their iPhone. I used touch screen for the 1st time back then. I tried so hard to find her by going over the internet and reading all available flight information.......but no luck. I wonder where she is today.......💔💔

I have seen many small clips before but this one is in detail !
Very sorry to see 😔 my dream to fly by Jumbo Jet was in my bucket list.. won't be fulfilled !
That way I have flown several times.. domestic, international as well but unfortunately I never got the opportunity to be with 747-400...
