Dear friend, I'm italian, but very fond of India, my beloved country. Visited the first time on 1971 and my first flight on 747 was on 1974 and the name of the aircraft was " Emperor Shah Jahan" another flight on " Emperor Akbar" and another one was " Emperor Rajendra Chola" So sad to see these wonderful aircrafts out of service. My next flight to India ( do really hope so) would be next november and will be my farewell to India. I'm quite old and the glorius days of my life are quite over. My home is in Jaipur ( a little wonderful cozy hotel) But I will miss Mumbai too. All the best Friend and thanks for Your videos.
Thank you Sir! I'm glad you like my videos. I was born in 1994 and started spotting in 2010, by then Air India had retired all its 742s, 743s and repainted 744s with the new livery. I never got to spot them in their glory days, let alone fly them. Knowing that you got to fly them during their Maharaja phase makes me happy. I'm sure you must have had memorable flights! Back then Air India 747s were truly the Palaces in the sky! I hope you book your final flight via Mumbai. So that you can spot the remaining 747s one last time!😃👍
@@Vaibhav_Shah Thanks for Your reply; I hope to fly to India again, as I wrote to you and have just 2 days in Mumbai; very short time, just to say good bye to this wonderful town, so beloved, where had very lovely moments. You can’t help but feel emotional watching this video. The 747 has an ubiquitous place in every Indian’s heart wherever they live. Such a graceful machine. It felt as if the aircraft was feeling sad leaving its home of so many years

I gave her a salute as I watched fly past me from Juhu beach! Will really miss seeing the queen in the sky! I always wanted to fly on the queen once on a domestic route, but never got the chance.
In skies vast, the queen once soared, Majestic wings, tales untold, With grace she danced, her legacy defined, Farewell, dear queen, your spirit enshrined. Wishing our beloved 747 a wonderful post-retirement life. Still have memories of having flown on them on the Delhi - Hyderabad route when I was just about 12 years old back in 2018.
It’s amazing how these magnificent planes take on personalities to so many of us. When you think about how many 1000s of lives that one plane changed…. the new beginnings… the ending of stories… the jobs it created and ended… Somehow it seems like something so important in creating people’s life stories deserves to shared with everyone. Maybe someday someone with more time and resources can collect a pile of personal stories from people that had their lives change because of this one Indian Queen of the Sky♥️
This iconic queen of the skies with Air India livery will dearly remain in our memories and heart. Was fortunate to fly in one of them named Fatehpur sikri on Mumbai Ahmedabad route. Will miss you always our queen of the skies and palace in the sky.
I remember when I was 10 year old , we used to sit on airport boundary wall at jarimari and had seen AI 747 , on entering runway , take a left turn and come near the wall , as if covering maximum area, allowed for its take off run . My heart used to run towards this flying queen , wanting it to lift me in her arms . My dream of flying with her came true with Mum - Hyd return flight on Velha Goa . I felt blessed .

To Roswell via Paine Field.

Hey! When will the other 747 leave mumbai and are AI scrapping the other 2 747s?
No idea about both questions. There's no clarity at the moment.
what about the two more 747s standing at VABB
There are rumors that some/all will be flown out and might be converted to freighters or broken up for parts. No clarity yet.
When other B747 will take off?
