Adam, just watched both of your video reviews. Thanks for the feedback - I am involved in designing a 2.0 version of the Esperance tent with ARB and have taken on board some of your commentary. Nice one!
so for the pole you can ask for replacement. i receive mine was broken. also side of my tent has some linening broken. and ARB replys its not an issue.
I've also got the Base Rack (+ARB Narrow Bridge Plates) and looking to mount a RTT and just realised I have no idea how I'm going to tighten the mounting brackets! There's space to reach under at the back between the rack and the vehicle roof (FJ), but at the front my Base Rack has the wind deflector which blocks basically everything... anyone managed to do this?
I have the wind deflector on my ARB base rack as well, and I tighten the brackets through my sunroof with a lot of swearing and cursing - it's not an easy thing to do.
Adam, can you share how wide the Base rack crossbars are? I can't seem to find those dimensions anywhere online. I have an iKamper Skycamp 2.0 that has mounting brackets that may work with this rack depending on how wide each cross bar is. Thanks!
I had a yakima tent. Trust me the strap and cloth for the ladder is great to have. You don't realize it but the ladder will wiggle and over time wear that bottom . I ended putting a towel underneath my rack with closed. . And I took my rain sly off permanently. Never needed it. Even when it rained.. left it in my garage
ahahaha I love how you complain about the tent because you can't use a zipper for the rain cover or you don't understand how to roll a ladder cover. Great job!

For the love of God. Please put self inflating matress in in them.
OH NO .... i was just about to go into ARB tomorrow and put a deposit down on a esperance RTT .... now not so sure
Great honest review thanks. It confirms that I need to shell out 3x the price for a James Baroud RTT. Sorry about your ARB (Another Rusty Baserack).

Unzip your moon roof - stand up & you can unzip the fly & remove it.

I am sure if you called arbusa in Washington state they would replaced it for free but all products have flaws
