:D So glad to hear you like the videos that much! I'm really enjoying moving over to this channel, feel like I have my zing back. Hopefully you guys feel the same.
@@KlairedeLysOfficial absolutely! I feel as if your videos have gotten better because it feels more intimate due to the content and editing. Its absolutely stunning.
I was so confused by the "butter" for like 20 seconds... I'm not to bright 🖤
I was worried that might happen, it's not super obvious at first. I should have gone with my gut and clarified that from the beginning.
I still don't quite get it... could you explain to me what kind of butter is used? 😅
@@0bszon489 shes talking about a body butter (shea butter, cocoa butter sometimes Kokum butter) not the food butter. I'm just a little piggy she said eggshells and I thought food butter... like i said I'm not that bright.
oh damn... i'm dumb. thanks!
Wow, your daughter is going to grow up with so much knowledge of things, it's incredible 💕 much love!
Your videos are so lovely - they're easy and simple to understand and follow along with, they're lovely ideas, they really contribute to my less waste attempts in my day to day life, and your voice is so soothing. The blog posts are also wonderful x
Is there more skincare products you make yourself? I love these little videos! I want to make my own products but life is too messy at the moment. But definitely I'll come back to these videos in the future!
Those jars are absolutely beautiful, where can I find some like that?
Antique shops, charity shops, ebay or sometimes Amazon. I got the large jar from a local antique shop and the smaller jar I found on Amazon here: amzn.to/2XjqZtq
If you're looking for them on ebay you need to search for repousse jar, antique jar, or victorian jar. There are a few other names they come under but I can't remember them right now.
Ooh!! More Skincare DYI please :D
DIY* oops
Will do :)
I do have the exact same little jar you used for your mixture and I think I’ll try your receipe and store it there 😁
It's lovely isn't it! That little jar makes me so happy each time I look at it.
I've always wanted to do the ground egg shell additions to masks, but how fine can they be ground? I have sensitive skin and the biggest exfoliant I can use without irritation is sugar. Thanks so much! Another fantastic video!
Very, very finely. I find it much softer than using sugar, but the key is to use a mortar and pestle to make sure it's ground into a super fine powder.
How about thirsty, dry, sandpaper like skin?
I'm not sure if you mean in general or specifically about a scrub. If you are looking for a very moisturizing scrub, then mix sugar and honey. Finer sugar is more gentle if your skin is delicate. A brown sugar already has a sort of moisture to it as well. Honey is healing and moisturizing due to its natural components. I wouldn't spend a lot on a more expensive honey. Yes, the quality would be better, but it would also be harder to work with due to the sticky consistency. Cheaper honeys are watered down a bit which decreases quality, but makes it somewhat easier to mix them with your sugar. I wouldn't spend for raw sugar either as the lack of processing may leave it too rough for your skin. You don't heat this mixture... just mix about half and half together & then store in an air tight container. If your skin is tough, you could try a salt and olive oil mix. But, I find that most salts are too rough and drying. And, I don't like the olive oil residue. It makes everything dangerously slippery if you use it in the shower.
@@wolfco47 both! Thank you for the info. My skin loves oils. Cant get enough!
I would be worried abt the eggshells scratching the dermis
What a lovely idea, I’ll have to try it the next time I go to the health food store for supplies.
I’m just curious you used to include you Patreon’s at the end of each video, what’s the reason for not crediting them anymore?
They are still credited at the end of the video. The credits start at the 1:47 mark :)
😃
What would be a good replacement for the ground eggshells? I'm vegan so I would rather not use that myself :) Great video as always!!
i dont know how they compare but ground oats or almonds are amazing exfoliators/masks
