I’m so inspired by your recent videos! I’ve always liked your old makeup videos, too, but the new version is wonderful as well! You inspired me to have my own herb garden, and I’ve never been so happy! 🌱🌿 Sending lots of love from Japan!
Love this! Please make more of these, I find them really useful! Have you ever attempted salves or ointments with herbs? If so, have you made a video on them and if not, would you consider filming one?
Omg herb garden tour please! I’m moving in a month and cause of COVID I still don’t want to anything and starting an herb garden sounds like the perfect thing to do
I can't do it I'm afraid since it's in the front garden and I have very strict rules with myself about sharing too much identifying information online.
They had a drying hook, hung them up in bundles and air-dried them. (Unless you lived in a hot country in which case you made a mesh tray and dried things out in the sun).
Hey Klaire! This must be so refreshing with the peppermint! Do you make your own deodorant as well? If so, do you want to share your recipe? I’m always looking for better/other recipes so i can adapt mine! Thank you, for your recent content. It’s so refreshing to see such small and easy recipes and tricks n’ tips in this fast and consumption-focuses society!
I'm still experimenting with deodorants, but I haven't found a need for them to be honest at the moment since I don't sweat much (thanks hypothyroidism) and I shower each day. Once I find something I really like I'll let you know :)
If you store it in the fridge, about 1-2 weeks. If you keep it out I wouldn't leave it for more than four days, which is why I only make enough to use one.
I originally bought it in Lakeland, but I just checked and they don't sell it anymore. I bought it about 7 years ago so I'm not surprised. I had a quick look on Amazon (so this would be an affiliate link) and found one that's pretty much identical: amzn.to/3j9C4YR
Mildly. You don't get such an intense cooling feeling when you use the plant, that effect tends to happen if you have peppermint essential oil in it which is way, WAY stronger than just the plant.
i'm curious to know if you also make your own soap. i have been making soap for 21 years. i also make men's shave soap and beard care oil (that one is super simple). i have had to retire from doing it as a business do to multiple factors, but we have enough stock to keep us clean for quite a while. my husband prefers my shave soap over commercial "sensitive" skin creams and gels.
@@KlairedeLysOfficial royalty soap on youtube is currently doing a series of "soap classes". there are others. and while they use colorants and fragrance oils, there is plenty of info about natural stuff. the main thing is learning the basics of the chemical reaction (and safety, of course, and keeping potato out of the room).

Its so much better for sure xx

Amazing I absolutely have to try this
I have been trying to switch away from store bought products recently and this will be perfect to replace my scrub! Thank you!
It was very cute when I spotted the pudgy little hands off to the side. He came to help!
Potato is so adorable.
I’ll have to try this.

I make them all the time, and yes, I'll have videos about them too soon.
How long does this keep? Do you have to refrigerate it?

i think it probably would be ok but bc everyones skin is a lil different youd prolly jus have to use your best judgment
