- Fancy some Gourmet *Guts*? The Teochew 'nuo mi chang' (glutinous rice intestines) has its lovers and haters. Two things for sure though - the Teochew glutinous rice intestine is a tedious dish to prepare, and definitely not an easy one to find. But here's one family that has been serving this dish for 63 years.

Hahahaha...this family is so cute and funny. The son called himself salted vegetable 😂. Giam chye is a vital ingredient in many dishes! He's very important 🤗
The family is hilarious, especially the kiam chye son. 😂 I love how jovial they are, and the effort they put into the dishes.
Also, would be good to state the business addresses in the description. I'd love to check out the stall!
I liked the way kiam chai guy talk, awesome !
Omg the Kiam Chye boi is hillarious! I'm coming to visit you and your family!!!

He sure makes his family proud
The 3rd generation is so talented can be stand up comedy too. So sweet of him to make mommy laugh...awww.
I've had their pig organ soup a few times and they were quite tasty. I like the braised duck + kway chap sold by the stall next door as well.
Lol this guy is very fun to talk to.
bet, you have no regret of it, everyone can see you so enjoying... good work, young man!!
That kid can be a very good motivational speaker if he decided to do something else for a change. He should do his own TED talk about Singapore hawker life.
They laugh when he says he loves his mom cause its not something asians say. Love through food lol
She's a happy mom, having a child like that.. Nice
Haha I love this dude❤❤His awesome
Love these hawker stalls in Singapore! Great food! 🥰
I love Kiam Chye.
Just ate your soup tonight..standard still the same. Chillies sauce still the same. Have been eating from your stall since your Grandfather's time when you're at the old market next to Kim Cheng Street. Best regards to your Dad...nice jovial guy..met him today.
Very good family business owner friendly very clean stall selling chicken rice very good fresh food and cheap as well good foods thanks
Aw he's so cute 😍
All the best, you did great don't listen to what the world says but keep on pursuing
When do hawker owners take leave and go for holiday?
clip012 they dont
Maybe only during cny
This is one of my favorite stalls. It is also great they are on grab. I ordered it a few times when I was doing SHN. Awesome taste
kiam chye son oh my world he is sooooo funny
That was a lot of fun! I didn't get that much of an idea about the menu. It looked like rice with chestnuts inside? But also soup, some meatballs, it's not just one dish. I would have liked to hear a little about the actual food!
Love the dynamics of the family. Should have this done in Malaysia too.. see the life of neighborhood
Hawker life is too much hard work for me. I’m glad these guys continue the business so I can easily pay affordable prices and still get to eat these types of food! 😂🤣😂🤣
Not yr grandfather alone, yr grand uncle was conveniently forgotten. Thats pretty sad isnt it? In the early days, he was the one washing the large basin of intestines on the floor in sit wah road.
wo sukar chaik kiam chye

希望这些店一直传下去,不喜欢新式的连锁店。传统美食传承下去

good lad!
Anyone knows his insta
toomaskoh 😜
Kiam chai
He knows this is the best place to complain.
I wonder did hawker people make a lot of money or not?
No they don't. For each plate of food they sell (esp in the newer hawker centres), after rent, utilities and overhead, they earn about 15-60¢.
Hahaha... can jolly well change title to the "Rant of the Kiam-Chye-Mia Son"
This guy is really funny, the translations can be better tho
lol 鹹菜命。。。
The lowest rank 🤣🤣🤣
Why does he need to speak English (and speaks like that?)
Malaysian or Singaporean accents lol
y dont they just hire bermese workers? You literally pay $350 sing a month for 12 hour day labour 7 days a week.
Don't exploit foreign workers leh
Lol
because they are humans
Confirm no foreign worker wants to take up an sgd350 job in SG, won't even consider sgd700 gross with accomodation included.
weird mandarin accent. sounds so rude
It’s a Singaporean accent dumbass
@@cdllar3781ya agreed. they are dumbass...
