@@daffydii0 Wait a minute, so comment like "strong flavors" is considered criticism? Stop accusing me! Besides, I believe there's this thing called "freedom of speech" and everyone has their own preference!
Welcome to Singapore. My advise is, if you were to go to a Malay makan place, bring a Malay guy/lady so that they can tell you exactly what you are having. Cheers
Yes I thought of the same... they pretty much guess on some of the things they're eating..
Agree… else like me just eat by myself alone I just kena ketok $26 for my solo meal 😂
Yeah. Instead of a chinese dude who looked like it was the first time eating with his hands, and using his left hand to eat as well. Learn the culture if ure living in Singapore and eating their food please
@@Chrissybaby1979 My sentiments exactly. Especially the first dish 'Kuah Rawon" made with the authentic 'buah keluak' (Pangium edule) that is something that need to be shared. 🤦🏾♀️
Yess someone voiced this out
Amazing what you three guys did...51 dishes!!!! The food looks delicious...Thanks for this post Mark..will make a visit when I do go back...and you know all the food..

Very awesome food in Singapore! Yummy 😍
I can’t believe you had the chance to collab with Zermatt! This is crazy :) I had a chance to eat with him too, so I can image how crazy it is. You guys really killed it 👍🏻
Huge wastage. The government should clamp down on him

I love how Mark gets so excited and hyped when he eats food in every video. He makes me hungry all the time. Awesome Video Mark!

That veg with gravy at 18.25 min video - tapioca leaves. My favorite 😋👍
And here I am a Malay person in Finland watching these 3 guys eating Malay food. I’m crying and salivating all over the floor at the same time….😭😭😭😭 I miss my nasi ambeng and nasi sambal goreng 😭😭😭😭

When Mark said "1 plate of everythiing" the lady just scratched her head hahahaha, she obviously have not heard of Mark or seen him at all and who he is! Beautiful dishes Mark!
It's a really very reasonable price for 51 dishes.
Thanks Mark for always inspiring us to go to the new place to eat in every country. can't wait to try hj maimunah dishes when im in Singapore
OK, I have to get to Hjh Maimunah at some point in my life... this just looks unbelievable. And they'd be carrying me out on a stretcher if I finished "one plate of everything"!
I’m going to Singapore in September and I’ve definitely added this place to my list!!
@@Highabovemexo very jealous! Hope you get to eat a lot!
Even as a Chinese Singaporean, I love our Malay food! You guys really gotta try, not just this restaurant, but day-to-day fares like Mee Rebus, Mee Siam etc… pretty sure you guys will love it. Even Chinese fares prepared in compliance to halal. Even if you have Muslim friends they can get to enjoy too! Enjoy your stay 😊
Just amazed at how much food you consumed. I think the food are really delicious. Good health Mark.
👍👍wow👍👍biggest double thumbs up👍👍excellent presentation and best video clip👍👍
OMG!!🎉 I love Zermatt😊 He is a beast at eating!
Malay food is the best in the world...thank you Mark for the review!

Padang Food Indonesia.
Wow, that video was amazing! This group is amazing! They can eat an entire table of food with their hands in no time flat! I have been able to see the world in a whole new way because of Mighty 🤙🏾 Travels 😚 Premium.
I am beyond ecstatic you did this. Hajah Maimunah's is a staple in Singapore for Malay food (of Indonesian heritage) and I swear every dish and side dishes are so delicious. I am salivating just watching this because I know how every bite tastes like.
Great friends to help you eat all that food, the meals looked fresh cooked very well the ingredients looks makes the food look delicious.
The 51 dishes was soo great. Good job Mark and friends!
Look exactly like Filipino foods! Oh we belong to the Malayan race that's why! Looking at these array of foods makes me imagine the hardwork in the kitchen! Thank you Mark and friends for showing us this Star- studed Mukbang!
U mean Austronesian?
Actually, Malay and Filipino food is similar if not the same. Like the Filipino Sinigang is the same as our Singgang and Suman is like our Lepat to name a few.
@@remyazharyyosef1811 Filipinos eat pork but Malays don't. There's still a difference.

My to go place for good Nasi Padang. The siput sedut is one of my faves! Glad you guys were able to check their food out! 😊
They order every dish in the shop $147. I go there eat just by myself today, $26 lmaoo
@@incurab1e I was thinking that too when Mark showed the bill. Like he shared, they probably put some things in complimentary😊
I miss nasi padang and I miss home! And @Mark Weins FYI, at 19:00, that's Sayur Singkong, Cassava leaves! (yam)🤣 When I return home, I'm gonna order every dish that Mark leans over cos it means its really good!
Awesome group! Love how they just tore into every dish with their hands and demolished an entire table of food🙌🙌

@@ggtwinschanel Woohoo❤️❤️
I really enjoyed this video!
Wow, I was in Singapore for 10 days in 2007. I love all the dishes in the Malay Food Challenge. They ARE AMAZING and how they managed to eat them all. The team of the 2 local guys are awesome too!
Ordering all 51 dishes is the best thing to do when you’re indecisive like me 😂
Lol. I order from a Chinese spot once a week and always get around $90.00 worth of food because I can't decide what I want. The owner is appreciative of me so he always drives the order to me personally. Last week he said he hopes my family enjoys the food and I told him I live alone, it's all for me. He almost passed out he could not believe it. 😆
I used to be indecisive, but I’m not sure now.
@@TheOriginalArchie 😂😂 that is absolutely hilarious. Hey man, I don’t blame you - I’d do the same if I could afford that every time I ordered from a Chinese spot
@@attlee1945 Hahaha love it
Now... what do we eat first?
Mark giving half the portions to Zermatt while sharing the half of the other half with the other guy was hilarious af. Zermatt is a legend and he's definitely up there with Matt Stonie, Randy Santel, Joel Hansen and all the other competitive eating youtubers out there.

This is really high class authentic Malay food. Thank you for sharing your videos with us. 💖🌹💖
Awesome vid, Mark! Glad tt you'd like all the food. Maybe next you should vlog abt food that you dislike but are famous, we want to see your reaction eating tt 😂😂
Watched so many food videos but after watching this one, Mark, you got my total respect due to the way you ate the drumstick, lol. 99.9% will just bite the drumstick just like that and that is the wrong way. Drumstick have layers and you got to tear it apart according to the layers instead of just biting straight into it. haha. Giving you a million thumbs' up. haha
Love from Japan mark! I always get so excited when you post a new video because I always know it is going to be one of the best I will ever watch. Keep up the good work! 😉
Malay food is so hard to find Tokyo!!! Looks so good! Always appreciate your work, Mark!!
It's very difficult to find Malay restaurant abroad, especially when there are very few Malays who are overseas compared to Filipinos and Indonesians. I think you should try Indonesian cuisine, because in Singapore and Malaysia Indonesian cuisine is very popular through its Padang cuisine, even Padang cuisine greatly influences the taste of Malay people. On UA-cam I often find vloggers who visit Indonesian restaurants in Tokyo, especially those that sell Padang dishes such as rendang and gulai, maybe you can visit them.
