Just ordered an allied hoodie, thanks mate I'll be a real hit with the Sheilas.... maybe
And whatnot?
Does Woodies bro Matty want some Hembros shirts lol
@@TradieTrev I think he still wears them 😂
Beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback, did you call her Rumbi? That's a name from Zimbabwe formerly known as Rhodesia...
16:23 holy shit. I never expected Al to be a house music aficionado. I'm more impressed than usual.
Al and Woody were Daft Punk. They had to give that up to focus on Skid Factory.
@@yowie0889 buy it, boost it, break it, fix it, trash it, change it, skid, upgrade it
I can imagine Al munchen disco biscuits back in the 1990s.😀👍
@@myownsite nicely done😎👌

They need some sparkless grinding discs. 😂
RIP headphone users when al "machines" dowels down
In 6 months time millsi is sick of not getting traction so here it is, the all wheel drive Bedford van
Using a territory driveline was originally the idea.
@@millsi1978 not an Oz, pliz expln 'territory driveline'

pete at hughes what a legend
Indeed.
Love seeing the Bedford back for more fun :D
Hi Jeff.
It wasn't meant to be a race car but more like a business moving car - Yeah, sure! :) i love Al's dry commenting.
Well...this van should move like nobody's business now 😕
"The Megawatt Bedford". What an absolute effing monster. Also, props to the 12yo producer - it got my attention as something fresh, well before you popped the notification thing up.
*"Get in here ya dogg!"*
Hahaha, this gets said in our shed more than it probably should 😅
what kind of masochist gets a white valve cover
Well it is Millsi we are talking about here.
It's white with black smudges now.
The colour is Primrose. 👌🏻 HTH 😘
The same kind of person who has four cats and white couches (don't ask...)
@@theskidfactory Has character now.
G'DAY Guys, congratulations on getting the old Bedford back in the workshop, watching this VLOG, brought back some very interesting memories, and reminding of busted knuckles, when in 1978-1979 found a "Powered by Holden", YAYthe 202! Bedford van in a paddock in Central Queensland, and at the same farm a smashed 1976 HX LE MONARO,so for a grand total of $2,500, the long process of fitting the MONARO running gear consisting of a stout 308& turbo 400 with 12 bolt rear end, into the Bedford Van, including internal refit with Double bed,12 Volt TV,Stereo, turntable ( still had vinyl then), storage cupboards, primus cooktop, huge Esky, full carpenter tool kit safely stored, exterior painted Blue metallic acrylic, claim to fame, was first vehicle fitted with mobile phone in Queensland at the time, mid 80's,was a 015 prefix, box under seat measured 500mm×600 mm,calls cost $2.00 per minute! Ended up on Gold Coast as a workvan for a pop-up irrigation systems installer,
Al's sartorial guidance is always appreciated. "don't wear a hoodie to visit your gran" - 100% :-D
back in the good old days we made all the dies for Ford to cast the engine mounts, water pump, sump, front engine cover, water neck, rocker cover and cam supports. great to see these parts and how awesome the Barra motor is still kicking on.
Who did you work for?
@@theskidfactory Hilton Tooling in melb. stilll work there.
It's so funny that people think Millsi would spend the money to build out a 1500hp engine but not make the van safe. Most people don't realize how well built this project was from the very beginning.
edit: The only thing factory left on it is the body and glass hahahaha
Nailed it.
@@millsi1978 This is one of the coolest builds on the planet. I love it. I can't wait to see this beast running again with it's new heart.
Loved the flute playing in time with the music. I LMAO. 🤣
Woody’s nailing the film making craft
yeah, but he should've had one leg in the air while playing :-)
Al playing the "barranet"
Al's alternate persona "Jethro Tool"... Ian Anderson would approve, I'd bet.
@@bvward Very good, Barney! :-)
Should i be filming this?............Isn't that what we do? LOL
It's like the Queensland Police pulling over another cop for drink driving!
14:45 Al trolling us with the double torque click :)))))))
no-one has been caught yet......
Not even together yet, but...
"Definitely got an 8 in it" 😁👌
in the late 70's early 80's there was a bedford cf van twin rear wheels ,with a jag v12 parked near my work , from the outside it was standard looking until you looked inside ( it was a manual box with a external on top of the dog box remote linkage ) and about 12 inch rear wheels in place of twins don't know what happened to it .
keep up the fine work
rickie ,edinburgh scotland
The Bedford needs to be at Drag Week.
The plan was to take it to USA drag week. Still the plan but not sure when.
Being from Yorkshire, UK seeing the bedford vans running around when i was a kid, this makes me Grin a Great Deal...
This is going to be one epic van
The deadford... what a dude!
Watching Al explain some mounting details, and I notice Woody is getting a nice clear shot, on the fly, while the light from the door comes in and out, under a van, at objects of wildly different reflective index. While walking about.
Just wanted to say. Good Job Woody.I Heard Al something about you being able to pick up the transmission mount under there , and all I hear is..
" Yeah.... I got it...... " As in, hush. I'm good here. And it was. Nice to see how well you all have come along for making lovely looking videos. The undersides of cars are not really photo friendly.
Kind of like a penis making love for the first time.
" It was light, it was dark, it was light, it was dark, I didn't know what the hell was going on!! "
I was wondering about the roof on the last episode so I am glad ya asked. I honestly thought someone started an engine with a out the bonnet style exhaust was the reason.
Even when I'm having a shit time you guys put a smile on my face, nice work gents.
Love the Friday reference 😁
my dad used to have a bedford in the 70s with a big chev v8 engine in it, it was a beast of a car, he even lost control of once to avoid hitting a dog and smashed into somebodys house, apparently was rushing home to assist my mother who was having a bad asmatic attack or something like that lol
He was just stoned
@@janeblogs324 And she wasn't having an asthma attack - she'd rung him and said she was gagging for it.
best soundtrack so far. I listen to his music every morning on the bike. that old van is nuts. need a video of you guts trolling people on the streets of eumundi lol
It's the ducks nuts !!🤪
I love the level of commitment to the daftest vehicle he could find. Awesome.
Man these guys bring joy to my life.
Yep Wednesday's rule 🍻
Al and Woody, your channel is one of my favorite channels. Thanks for posting vids :)
That van is super neat underneath.
Can’t wait to see it running.
1500hp Bedford van, eh? So basically you'll be able to complete all sorts of suspicious tasks, but complete them *really* quickly.
Edit: Holy shit Al, that's a brilliant Duck Sauce reference!
Running Moonshine.
3 bolts on those wheels are a weight saving compared to just 5 bolts. It is all about rotating mass. xP
I’m sick as a dog so took the day off all of a sudden I feel 100% an I’m walking out to the shed to watch skid factory 😂😂👌🔥 I love it boys use give me a reason to get up! Cheers boys
"That's what happens when you grind things" killed me
Looks like that lawn mowing gig really took off. This is going to be one awesome Bedford!
its a good day when a skid factory video is in my feed
Love the cheeky little look at the camera whilst double clicking that torque wrench! Haha!
My old Saab twists more than the Bedford will ever do.
Friday!!
I used to drive a Bedford CF250 back in the early 80s. I bet it's even more fun with a few extra horses
Body: GM
Engine: Ford
Trans: GM
Diff: Ford
Love it
I am impressed that there are silencers on this thing.
I'm so stoked to be in here early with Matt Happle.
I can't wait 🙌much love from Detroit THANX
I remember doing clutches on these back in the day and they was crap then with there bolt on front ends and 80 odd hp from there 2.2 slant 4 .... so a 4ltr 6 pot with silly power chassis and trans mods iff deffo the way to go !
Probably going to have to change the clutch more often now 😀
My dad used to have a Bedford van had a modified Holden v8 in it with chrome lake pipes use to run on av gas reckoned it had blue flames out each side at night
Mowing lawns in Australia must attract a high price considering all the work Millsi is doing to the Bedford.
Maybe I should emigrate and set myself up in lawn care?
Glad we figured out what happened to the roof 😂👌🏻
Ford UK built some fast Transit vans years back the original 70's era one labelled the Supervan was pretty mad, nothing like Guy Martins though, 150mph+, that thing's wild, but so is everything he has, the man's a maniac.
Cant wait to see that barra hurt bomb that real axle like the rock doing laptimes in a van.
Best introduction ever!
That’s what happens when u grind things. 🤣🤣🤣 had me in stitches. 👍 Bedford is a weapon Millsi.
So good to see this content again!! Miss ya
Top shelf intro.
Nugget garage sticker in the right place. Under the hoist arm. 18:35
Good to hear the Lads tunes too.
The Hoff and Wendy are getting some love about a tailshaft. Did they have a problem????? LOL
Loved your guys channel and content one of the best on UA-cam.
And Mill SI is going to be the one rolling. What was that ? Mate I think it was a Bedford !
Ok it’s not so shabby anymore. This thing is nuts!
Oh man, that van has got to be a total hoot on the drag strip!
That John Witherspoon bit!! Hahaha.
Amazing Al has any time to be a movie buff.
Definitely need to put leaf spring sliders on. Solved some binding/warping issues I had on a S10.
Thank you for your insitghts and video 🙂👍
Always a thumbs up! That was 24 minutes that went by way to quickly!
Hey Al! tell your kid that his music is super awesome! and to keep at it, because he's gonna do great:D
Alan = Chooch 🤘
Bahaha nearly got the low down on that ceiling.
That Bedford reminds me of the original Supervans that Ford did back in the 70s/80s here in the UK
nice friday reference Al
The Bedford needs no introduction! :P
Good to see the cameo performance of the ridgie @17:58. I have 2 of them, they eat me out of house and home ;)
Watching this vid everyone is like Bedford by name only😂 she's mint!
How do you know it’s cold in Queensland? Woody has jeans and a beanie on. Al has shoes.
would love to see this at Cootamundra for Motives Drag Battle
It's on the ToDo list
@@millsi1978 that’s the spirit 👌🏼
The Carla Zampatti Laser, would be awsome with a 7-800hp engine.
Omfg trans mount "fuel tank to battery" (Al nods) 😂😂👌 you two make me laugh so hard. Great video guys. I am always looking forward to your videos.
As much as I know you took the 8 ball out, I was sat there sweating going I hope they removed it 🤣
That H250 President in the background though 😍
Please do a video on it 🙏🏼
@@lamboferruccio I hope they do something. Keen to get a H252 for myself
My favorite project. 👌 Totally absurd!

Ye Gromit's tunes sound sound so sick in these vids.
Came looking for this comment! Surprised it was lower than my standards on saturday at 2am.
the fact Al knows duck sauce blows my mind
haha at the beginning i was imagining the flintstones.
That intro was fire 👌😂
The Ducks Nuts!! Alan lol
FYI, all Chevy auto transmissions have a convertor setback from the stock bellhousing flange of 1 inch, measured between the mounting bosses where the torque convertor bolts are threaded in, to the bellhousing flange. This is true of Powerglides, Th-series (th350, th400, etc), 200r4 and 700r4, and the 4l60 and 4L80 versions.
I am sure the output housing can be unbolt and place the mounting point for the mount on the other side
That fuckin 8-ball, love it.
"Shout out to The Hoff and Wendy..."
Call fire brigade plz.
Apply ice pack to burn.
GO HAWKS!!!
Why the 8 ball and did you leave in there??? Great show guys
Yes they put one in every engine build , helps with oil flow around the pocket .
Ah the old orange tie down strap, unbreakable!
keep up the great content!! Love you guys!!
love it, thanks guys :)
It’s like the Australian Little Red Wagon!!!
The Transmission is "The Ducks Nuts" Its an old saying. Possibly a variation of The Bees Knees
Or the Mutt's nuts/dog's danglers.
