I just couldn't believe it (at around 16:45) when he mentions/shows the brand of acrylic paint he uses: Reeves - something that, even as an amateur painter, I am shy from being seen near such products in store. I think Reeves should supply this artist at least 15 years worth their acrylic paints (assuming he's not affiliated with the brand, of course)!
This video proves that when one has reached mastery level, even cheap products (ignoring the longevity) can be used to create a master piece with incredibly artistic quality!
This IS the only painter who actually draws or paints several straight lines ON the painting to illustrate a point in the tutorial several times. That is what I call absolute confidence. I have watched quite a few tutorials and this one, in my humble opinion, is certainly in a different league. Anyone is welcomed to prove me wrong on this point (and I am not talking about scenery paintings but portraiture).
