Girl. You are so ultra unbelievably gifted and talented.
Nice hair color💌
I totally vibe with you ! Love your teaching style and paintings 🤩
I just love your work. I wish I could paint that loosely.
Fantastic! I love your style and your teaching method.
Absolutely beautiful and expressive. Thank you for walking us through your process
What a wonderful lesson! Thanks so much!
Every once in a while I try to get in a couple of gesture portraits, which I learned from Jeff Watts. You have taken the technique to a whole different, and quite pleasing, level!!! Beautiful work...
Thank you Chelsea!! This is a great video!!
So beautiful! I love this style so much! Thank you for sharing your tips and thoughts.
Thanks Chelsea. I've got a personal reminder on my calendar: Watch more Chelsea Lang, because you are da bomb! I was actually sitting here painting a portrait of my son in law as I watched you and as you talked about colors and why this and why that, I found myself loosening up, spreading that color from the background to the face, etc. etc. I need so much help, and a good example is a big deal. Thanks Chelsea.
Great job, love it.
I love your drawing of all kinds
And your expectations of the beautiful and an international and respected painter
And I like your hair to be golden 👏👏👏
To be beautiful 💃💃💃💃
Mijn grote complimenten voor je openheid en schilderstijl 🥰
I really enjoyed watching the "fast and loose" alla prima portrait. It is amazing how much paint can suggest what we want to see without having to definite it completely realistically!
I love watching your evolution from fantastic to fantasticer. xoxo
This work turned out really nice. I love your hair! So cool!!
Love love love you!
Thank you for making these videos they are extremely helpful.
Absolutely beautiful!!! Love your artwork!!! 👏👏👏
The picture is so beautiful, I love your drawing ❤️
Beautiful!
I’m loving your videos…broke my wrist and put down my paints yet you inspire me, so yay! Do you know Mad Charcoal? Different materials but kindred philosophies.
my favorite painting you have done so far and I've liked a lot of your pieces
Thank you so much! 😀 It's actually available for sale over at chelsealang.com if you want to take it home. :)
I love your hair! ❤️
I am really trying to get out of my head and loosen up. I really appreciated all of the tips as well as watching you paint, how you make the marks, how you negotiate darks and lights, how you suggest things like fingers, and how you hold your brush. Thank you!
Thank you for the inspiration.
So fabulous🥰🎨🥰
That was beautiful.
awesome job and great teaching
Beautiful❤️
Thankyou for this video.. It was ver insightful
I'm from Japan and I love the way you do your paintings.
❤🙏 Fabulous … the way you create art is inspiring 👏 … great tips 👍 ❤️🙏
Amazing!! Thanks!
BeautifuI! I can see you using this loose technique on a plaster textured canvas or board. Making it really loose. Thankyou on showing your technique.
Wonderful ❤❤❤
This tutorial is very helpful ❤
Love your hair colour, it took 50 years for mine to turn that colour!
Great demo.
Very nice ❤
your hair is so pretty!!!
I was hoping you'd make a video like this! I've been curious about Alla Prima and impressionistic processes as I normally paint much more realistically and in a lot of layers. Fantastic work and fantastic teaching!
Absolutely stunning work ! Wish my work wasn't as tight, but my brain doesn't seem to tend to doing loose
Hello! I enjoy to watching your channel and wish you to continue forward your goals. This Painting reminds me Russian painter Nikolai Blokhin.
Very impressive! I'm just starting.......on the most basic level, I even find it hard to hold the damn brush properly!.........can't stop myself holding it like a pen and squinting close. I love this style of painting, I'll keep trying...thanks!.
Your hair is 💥
W O N D E R F U L ❤❤❤
Great :) ♡
Thank you!
Hi Chelsea! Your work is very... fresh and painterly and your paint flow is smooth as if you were using watercolor! Are you using any media to achieve that, like turps or liquin?
Wonderful painting. Please show mixing colour plate also for learners.
thank you
Thank you.................
I show your work to my class.
Painting in this style is much more difficult to do well, than it is to paint in a more realistic style . For me it is .
Very helpful videos Chelsea thank you :)
Where do you buy your canvases?
Amazing! Do you premix any colours?
Nice
I found this a good lesson in knowing when to stop. Was I the only one, maybe it was the time lapse, but it seemed to be doing the opposite of the dialogue. Still it was a nice painterly portrait.
👏🖤
It would b great to c your reference as u paint.
❤❤❤❤❤
What are you using to glaze?
Hi Chelsea, love your work and appreciate all you do for us artists! I was wondering if you offer a mentorship or any type of help with the business side of being a professional artist? Thanks so much!
Hi Wendi, I do offer mentorship! For the artists I mentor, once they have a body of work I do help them to get their businesses off the ground, however, my main focus is developing the consistent body of work that's a prerequisite to that.
I'd love to hear from you. If you haven't already checked out my masterclass (www.allaprimabootcamp.com/thank-you-simple1633565281189) that gives you a good idea of what I focus on with my mentorships, and if it sounds like a fit you can submit an application to work together here: www.allaprimabootcamp.com/survey-page1633565281620.
I'm excited to hear from you!
What program do you use to collect reference photos.
Hi I have noticed with your paintings that you could stop a number of times throughout the process of developing a finished painting and still of ended up with a different but acceptable work of art! My question is how do you know when the painting is completed!
How do I find your links that you add?
Very nice. But you don't tell anything about one of the most important things: the brushes and the colors you use. I wonder how many artists show how nicely they paint but don't mention that. Please, for all of us who want to improve on our painting, make us a favor and tell us.
The palette is mentioned and linked in the description. The brushes are in the video, though the more important thing is how you use them.
How can I paint like u
Acá le llamamos el estilo sin terminar, estilo inconcluso
Gibt es die Möglichkeit eine Übersetzung darunter zu setzen, ich würde gern mehr von dir lernen, versteh es nur nicht, schade
I am a beginner
I can't concentrate
My comment are why a painter suppress the amount of color to paint anything, I personally have the freedom of 20 different colors if I needed
