@@MinisterTravis from all the reviews I’ve read this one seems to have a lot of high frequency presence, more than a lot of well known LDCs, so I doubt the response is similar. I have a JZ v67 (which I love) which does have a little roll off, but it’s still plenty clear. Haven’t used the blueberry so can’t directly compare... but the mic designer that started JZ did work for Blue back in the day... ;)
@@mrnelsonius5631 I do have the Amethyst as well. Compared to the Amethyst the BB29 has more presence, more energy in the top end. The Amethyst is warmer. The BB29 cuts better
The high frequency presence is obvious but in a good way! Sounds like an easy mic to control in post. Ordered one! 👍
