    Damn. I've heard bad things about the pianos but they sound great in this video.

    For me this two part video was more about the playing of different styles to match the synths! You have skills! I unfortunatly do not or have the funds sadly. But honestly I really wanna buy this! I've always wanted a solina, the natural riddim' it gives out( to me is perfect)just works!

      I've been playing for a while now with layering a Solina underneath some type of analog synth (usually a Juno) with a string type patch. Can really make it very nice and more believable.

    2 Parts Video and NO Review of the Jupiter-8 emulation??? Come on, guys, that's one of the most incredible synths in the package! Seriously, this review was VERY helpful in learning more about how to use this incredible software package. So lucky I picked it up for $40USD since AVC7 just came out.

    I love the Fairlight, it’s great to have those classic presets on hand. But, having owned a Dx7, I found the Arturia version more pleasing to my ear - there was a certain harshness in the originality certain patches - and programmability? So much easier, I want to cry.

    Their Solina is hands down the best one on the planet. No other soft version comes even close. My only beef with Arturia is that I don't need all their stuff, just a few synths but it works out more expensive just buying three than the entire collection.

    Indeed that grand piano is pretty impressive for physical modeling.

      A mathematical representation of physical objects behavior e.g. analog filter, the vibration of a piano string, the acoustics of a room, etc.

    Arturia should pay you for making the software look good, I mean the V collection is great but your skills way above it !

    Will a Novation MK3 interface just as well with this as the Arturia Keylab range? If the Arturia Keylab range is better for this, then does the Keylab Ultimate do it better than the standard Keylab?

      Called "Placebo", because he believes he had it on, he heard it. Exactly the same effect that is going on with all the "audiophile" nonsense out there.

    The most important factor is ...the HUMAN factor: YOU! there are lots of crappy FAKE musicians around that are just able to push buttons just like a MOUSE could do (99% of dj's for examples). The first thing in order to enjoy these intruments and sounds is to become a REAL Musician!

    • @tallgeese1
      @tallgeese1 6 років тому +5

      Music is also about perspective. A button pushing musician is still a musician if the individual produces a cohesive sound. It takes talent to play a physical instrument well, for sure. But it also takes talent to create music through combined elements of sound. I appreciate Skinny Puppy (of old) as much as I appreciate Mozart, Timberland, Yes, Rush (of old), A Tribe Called Quest, etc. What's important is how the music makes you feel and the mood you're in.
