I remember when I saw this episode for the first time and not knowing where Vash's hidden weapon comes from, then I remember the episode in which he meets Wolfwood and they give a little hint of it (when Vash gives him his weapon and he inexplicably saves himself from a robot). Episode 13 is a recap of everything that has happened through Merryl's thoughts, only part of the end is new content, I recommend watching only the end if you don't want to eat the recap. Greetings!
The pieces are starting to fall into place in this episode and it does introduce a villain that seems a bit more substantial. Very exciting. We did watch the end of the recap episode but we're not reacting to it. We're folding any thoughts into our episode 14 reaction.
Well, to be honest, you won't know what the fuck is going on until chapter 17, next chapters are just the same as the first ones, only now you at least know there is an enemy to go against.
Ivan, agreed. We're up to episode 16 and things do feel like they are building to something and the villain seems like a bigger deal than we've previously seen thus far in the show.
My absolute favorite Anime still after seeing many many shows. Something about the mix of bad and good voice acting in the Dub is something I've come to like haha.
this episode means even more when you rewatch after more gets revealed. but yea vashs arm gun put the crater on the moon they reference so much and now you begin to see why he doesnt use it
This is where the series really takes off and I fell in love with it.
Very excited to come down the homestretch!

Also he used his gun arm against the badlands gang. It was hinted at alot and I didn't realize it.
“ what the f$&@ was that?”
That was the 90’s fashion.
legato bluesummers is a great villain. the second half of the show is much darker and I enjoy it a ton
The manga gets to this in the first two volumes but the anime takes 12 episodes to reach the speed of Plot.
Another great episode guys! We know sh** is getting really when you stop talking. Lol
This episode gave us lots of new stuff to ponder.

Giblet, there's definitely a quality to this show that grows on you. I'm very glad we're watching it.
Emotional episode
Agreed. The way that Vash was at the end was sad to see and makes him a tragic figure. Looking forward to the back half of the series.
