I've never seen this dubbed and was hella surprised to hear JYB as the voice of Vash. He sounds so young compared to his later roles like Ichigo and Lelouch etc. lmao.
@@shockzz1234 it was his first or very close to first role after power Rangers. He actally shows alot ranges in emotion as the series goes and helped the Dub stand out in alot of average to meh 90s dubs.
His first voice role if I remember correctly. He is great in it.

They’ve definitely got to keep going with this one.
The show develops insanely it begins nice and subtle but then you begin to realize things are much more complicated and darker like beginning of the world itself complicated
When episode 12 hits the show changes completely
also seeing his own much darker side that he chooses to keep inside. When we see his brother, we all see exactly what Vash is fully capable of and why he chose not to go down that path.

Yesssss!!!!! Trigun is such an underrated anime! I remember already loving it, but on a rewatch stopping to really think of how much 60 billion is of a bounty. It’s crazy how much that would take and how much Vash would’ve gone through mostly off screen to get it there. 2nd best anime imo behind FMAB!!!!

@@KlooKloo not from low ratings, but from no ratings. People mostly go with others from that era when looking back. Case in point they immediately brought up cowboy bebop and rurouni kenshin when seeing the animation and the only one who has seen it (Chris) only remembers the ending. So not low rated, just not rated highly as I personally feel it should be.

I just want to say. The first half of the show is very different then the second half, and if you're not that into the beginning episodes just keep going. The second half of Trigun is beyond words.

Y'ALL NEED TO REACT TO THIS SHOW, IT IS AMAZING. It's first episode aired two days before Cowboy Bebop's did. I've actually been watching this for the first time over the past few weeks, in fact I just finished watching episode 18 right before this video. I've gotta say, I prefer Trigun to Cowboy Bebop. This is a must-watch.

I would definitely recommend continuing this reaction. This is a classic series that only gets better than this as the series continues. This is also a dub series, that is one you should listen to in the english dub (Vash is even voiced by the second Black Power Ranger, Johnny Young Bosch in one of his earliest VA hero roles, he would later be Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach).
Trigun is my favorite anime of ALL TIME! I didn’t think y’all would watch this series. Glad you picked the dub as well.

What a blast from the past! Definitely worth a full watch.
This show is amazing, and you should definitely continue reacting to it. The first episodes are quasi-episodic, though a lot of that is gradual character and world building. It definitely has a continual plot, though.
Also, fair warning: about 2/3 the way through, the series makes a MAJOR tone shift from comedy to heavy drama. This in no way makes this a bad show, but do not go into it expecting it be a happy fluffy show all the way through. Also, don't be surprised if you're visited by onion-chopping ninjas at at least one point.
