The thing about the Marley situation is that Marley did wear the Katy costume for a personal agenda. But Mr. Schue doesn’t know that. Not only this, but Marley had recently been recovering from *bulimia* which Will knows about. He should’ve taken that into account. Furthermore, he let Rachel get away with sending an innocent student to a *crackhouse* which could have gotten the entire glee club *banned* from competing. But Marley doesn’t wear a seashell bikini and she gets suspended?
And when Sam felt uncomfortable in his rocky horror outfit Will was perfectly ok with filling in for him. Because that fit HIS personal agenda. Talk about a hypocrite👀

If this would have happened in the real world, that teachers definitely would have gotten fired because of all the hate they would have gotten because of that.
I absolutely hated the scene where he berated Marley for not wearing a bikini. If she wasn't comfortable with it he should have left her alone.
Honestly, also Marley did have an eating disorder so that makes it 100x worse in my book
I don't see why she should have been assigned to wear a bikini in the first place? Ya know? My school doesn't allow rips in our jeans that are above the knees, so the thought of people assigned to wear a bikini from a teacher is insane to me hdksnfkm
And then he suspended her for not wearing it in my school you got in trouble for dyeing your hair and unnatural colour and marley gets suspended for wearing MORE clothes instead of a bikini

FINN, nor Cory, was nearly 2 decades younger than WILL not Matthew.
Other terrible stuff he did:
1: He kissed Beiste because he felt sorry because the coach had never been kissed.
2: He constantly promoted boys vs. girls competitions, which clearly made Kurt very uncomfortable (and never let Kurt join the girls)
3: He allowed his Glee club go to several competitions without proper rehearsal, including that one time they went on to the Nationals without a setlist (the song was written by the students in the hotel in NY).
4: He generally disregarded what the students wanted to sing (as pointed out by both Puck and Rachel in the first episode featuring Holly Holiday)
5: Rachel was always given the solos by default, and whenever someone else asked for a solo, instead of accepting, he promoted a "diva-off".
6: His hair was full of grease and his vests were hideous.
I actually think him kissing beiste was one of the only selfless things he's done, he boosted her confidence, he made her feel like she has a chance to get a guy, but yea I agree, he's the worst teacher ever, and he's hideous, but Matthew Morrison aint
@@ella-vq8ok First of all: Beiste is a man - even if back when it happened, he hadn't come to terms with his gender identity (as a trans man myself, I really don't like to see him misgendered. I know it probably wasn't your intention, but still.).
Second, I think it's hard to see that as a selfless act. He had just assumed that Beiste liked women, and his students had been mocking Beiste because of his appearance. The way that the scene played out made it look like he was feeling embarrassed. The kiss just happened because of pity and guilt.

I have had guys date me because they felt sorry for me because I have a "disability". Pity is not a good motivator even someone's intentions are good.

I think everyone would agree with you. Puck already felt like he was a badass since the 1st season and that moment was just one of the worst things that any teacher, no it was definitely the worst thing anybody could ever do to someone.

I agree that one of the worst Mr.Shue moments is when Marley didn't wear a bikini during a performance because she wasn't comfortable wearing one, and Mr.Shue suspended her. I don't think a teacher can suspend a student for not wearing a bikini, andt was extremely rude and inappropriate it of him to basically threaten her into wearing something she wasn't comfortable wearing.
I absolutely agree, and what makes it worse was that Marley was recovering from her eating disorder, and finally learning to love herself again. That scene was painful to watch.

Totally agree, no student should be forced into something that makes them feel uncomfortable, particularly by a teacher. Will was way out of line to suspend Marley, when he should have been more sensitive when he KNEW that she was recovering from an eating disorder. 😔😢
He suspended her from the Glee club. Not from school. He still shouldn't have been able to do it though.
I get that marley was always the one who got the blame for everything. Her suspension, losing one competition, the love triangle, etc. Her suitors had some issues, kitty manipulated her and yet got no blame, plus artie had a similar issue with his body and they worked on a compromise. Also, last time I checked, gaga had wardrobe that wasn't too revealing. I can see why melissa benoist didnt come back for the last episode (but it could be she was doing supergirl at the time, but glad she has a better career out fo glee now).
Marley was suspended for not wearing the shell bikini, but Rachel got no ramification for sending someone to a CRACK HOUSE.

The thing I hate most about Mr Shue is that he ALWAYS gives the lead solos to either Finn or Rachel. Like, in West side story Rachel gets the lead, but its clearly Santana that stole the whole damn show. Like, more of the glee students like Mike, Santana or even Quinn should take lead roles in musicals or competitions.
Valerie and having the time of my life are great!
And whenever she doesn’t get the lead (even four episodes in), she pitches a fit and gets it anyway.
The thing is though, Santana didn't want the lead role, she wanted to be Anita.
Rachel went for the main role, Santana didn't. Had Santana gone for the main role, I'd have agreed with you on the West Side Story point.
But I do agree that Santana, Quinn and other's deserved a lot more solo's.
Rachel was talented I’ll give her that but no amount of talent ever could make up for her revolting toxic personality.
If I remember correctly Mr Shue didn't cast the roles for West Side Story. It was Artie who directed and I think Emma and Coach Beiste helped cast too. That was when Mercedes and Rachel were both up for Maria. But Mr Shue still sucks.

@@FloreMar-yp3iz I mean he was supposed to be racist in that episode. He sucked but it wasn’t the show being racist, it was him. That is why Santana called him out on it and told him off for being offensive. He usually gets let off the hook for being creepy because the show accidentally made him a monster but this part was on purpose. That is why they did that because it was supposed to be a lecture on racist stereotypes that hurt latinex people. Most race comments on the show were poorly done but in this one instance it was addressed and talked about so he would actually change his behavior.
I'm glad him suspending Marley was so high on the list. As someone who really tries to dress modestly, I can't imagine being told to show off my body for a school project, and even worse, being suspended when I refuse.

The only time Will Schuster was ever a good teacher was in season 1 when he gave Tina a solo and told Rachel that the world doesn't revolve around her
You also forgot about the time when he stole Finn's letterman's jacket and let's Puck take the fall for it in "The Quaterback"
The creepiest moment for me was when Will sang "Endless Love" with Rachel during a class where they were supposed to be doing duets with other students.
I think Rachel is mostly to blame for that one because he was very very very obviously uncomfortable, but I agree in regards that he should have been more forceful about saying no. (And Matt wasn't there, that's who she was supposed to be singing with. Matt was always kind of thrown aside though, even in season 2 when he just mysteriously moved. Poor Matt.)

Rachel did worse things (Run Joey Run video, sending Sunshine to a crack house, the mattress commercial, etc) and she was never suspended. Marley was so fragile and he got angry with her being uncomfortable in a bikini. Wasn't the Glee Club all about support, Mr Schue?
Oh! And when the Glee members went to do other stuff (joining the Cheerios, practice other stuff) he got mad with them, for trying other stuff than being in the background voices for the Finchel duets.
Another bad part? He was a slut. He was dating Emma and kissed Shelby, lived with April... and then he flirted with Emma and tried to steal Emma from Carl. Not nice, dude.
And I could be naming more... I'm rewatching Glee and I had cringe moments watching him in some scenes.
Love him or hate him but one thing for sure is that he was never a teacher to those kids. Throughout the series all he did was gave them assignment, told them to prepare all by themselves and later enjoyed the show. That's it.

Totally agree with the number one. I hate how he always gave Rachel almost all the solos. I remember just 1 episode when Rachel doesn't sing, and that episode gave us Valerie. And also, I love all the performances of the Troubletons. Santana and Mercedes were the best without any doubt, but Shue was an extension of Ryan Murphy, always let Rachel (Lea) shine, even if that means not letting others show their amazing talent.

The one where he sings Fix You after getting frustrated with Emma's OCD. As someone who suffers from OCD myself, I thought it was not only cringe inducing, but offensive, like "I can fix your OCD." So unhelpful and not supportive whatsoever

This is why sue was a great character. All of her roasts on Mr. Shue were based on truth. She may have been a bully but she didn't tolerate a lot of the bs that Mr. Shue allowed to happen.

When Santana came out, Finn, the person who outed her, was the only one to help her. That sucks. How bad do those teachers have to be for that to be the case. Her teacher that said he was going to help her should have tried to do something. Obviously you should call a student out for slapping another student but he knew why she did it and instead of helping her, he tried to get her in trouble. Sure you don’t hit people but when your student was just outed to the world via TV, you cut them a little slack and try to help them with the issues they’re facing instead of punishing them.

I never see anyone mention Sue anywhere, even though while her character is more likeable, some of the stuff she's done throughout the show are just as bad/ if not worse than Mr. Shue. Like trying to fire Brittany out of a cannon, or blowing up Mr. Shues car. Rerouting the New Directions flight to a whole different country!? But no one ever talks about those ones.
I think Sue never getting fired/arrested was on the channel’s list for things in Glee that never made sense (#1, even)
At least Sue never did anything outright creepy like Will did. There were moments where I worried that Will was going to have sex with his students

And this is why I never liked Will, Emma deserved better, and why the kids needed a better teacher. A child told him he was sexuality abused and he did nothing. A student was uncomfortable wearing a bikini and he frickin suspended her. And don't get me started on his favoritism towards Rachel.

Rachel sucks most of the time but she still growing up plus she gets called out on her shit by her peers and Sue is the only one who seems to be bothered by that creep. You can sometimes feel bad to Rachel. Like in that one episode where she tells him everyone hates her and then he watches a student throw a slushy in her face and does absolutely nothing. I think that puts her miles above him even if she is still awful.

This list made me so happy because I didn’t think anyone saw how horrible a person Mr Shue was other than myself. I couldn’t stand that man getting away with everything. The only positive I saw was that I shed light that adults weren’t perfect people and that they were just human.
Biggest issue, his character seemed to need to feel like on e of the kids, he has talent, but as only their teacher 👨🏫 he couldn’t show off, so it came across as Uber creepy!! And come on, can we just say that glee was unrealistic, in every way, but yeah him as a teacher was wrong!!
I think his coming on to Sue and then standing her up was totally awful. We all know that Sue can be horrible but then you see her with her sister and you know that Sue is covering a lot of pain. It doesn't make her any less obnoxious, but she opened herself and then Will does that to her. In most cases it would just be rude but to to that to Sue is terrible.
The weirdest Mr. Shuester moment for me was when he kissed Coach Beiste and touch a touch me.

Even though Finn kissing Emma was wrong, Mr. Schue went waaayyyy too far to get revenge.
Ironically Finn acted like the adult of the situation, and Mr. Schue acted like an immature teenager. Also did he never discuss Emma’s side of it? Did he never ask her what happened or how she felt? I wish they included that in the episodes.
Will was talked up as being a wonderful teacher, but he was actually pretty terrible. One of the worst cases was when Quinn once causally quipped that she feels like punching Rachel in the face whenever she speaks, while Will was present, and he said and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! School administrators are supposed to take passive aggressive taunts like that seriously, even if it's said jokingly. 🙄🤦🏻♀️
To be fair: who wouldn’t wanna punch Rachel in the face? … He wouldn’t. That’s what makes that make even less sense.
Quinn said it as a reply to Rachel negating her right to a solo and calling her and her then-boyfriend "Ken and Barbie"... so in this case I see the reaction maybe not justifiable but understandable.

The fact that he didn't report Rachel for sending a student to a crack house and only made her apologize is one thing. But getting upset when Santana slaps Finn and telling her that she needs to have consequences for her actions is another. He was just horrible he let kids get bullied, denied a trans women the right to use a bathroom so he could twerk with children, asked a 19 year old to be his best man because "he taught him more about being a man than anyone" is just creepy. I'm pretty sure if he was a teacher now he would've been fired and most likely arrested because unlike TV world parents care if their student is being taught by a creep teacher.
Literally the only time he proved no to be a predator was the episode where Rachel had a crush on him and he was obviously extremely uncomfortable with it.
Ok I know Mr Shue was crazy at times, but can we at least appreciate that Matthew Morrison made the best with what was given, the dude LITERALLY put his heart and soul into every song and performance he did and was an amazing dancer too. It's a bit sad to me that the actor doesn't get as much credit like the other younger (and therefore more appealing to the audience at the time) character ones did (even though they were mostly the same age hahahaha)
So are we all just gonna ignore the real number one? The time he denied bathroom security to a young transgender student a.k.a. Unique the best thing to happen to this show after season 3? Unique was bullied and abused because of being openly trans at Lima Heights, particularly because of using the bathroom she felt most comfortable in. Her performance of If I Were a Boy made me cry so hard my eyes felt sore. And yet Schuester refused to provide Unique with something she needed to keep her education environment safe, because of... twerking? Sue was right to call him out on that, because that made him just as guilty of bullying as those transphobic students. And the fact that when Will actually stopped twerking that the show framed it as a tough decision and a sorrowful moment fills me with visceral rage
I'm amazed the moment where he told Emma that she wasn't being a role model for the Glee kids by not putting OCD on her "flaws I'm accepting" shirt, isn't on this list, like why should she have to tell her students that? And then suggested that eating unwashed fruit would be her "taking a step" to conquer it? Just....what the hell???
It always pissed me off that he would never let the class sing or chose their own songs to sing. It was always about him and what he wanted

Okay but #3 I always was bothered by. I tried to justify it when I was 15 but I just couldn’t, it’s very messed up. Like I definitely would be comfortable wearing a riskè outfit at 16 years old not to mention the fact that my mom would never let me wear A riskè outfit at 16 years old. I don’t think I’d even want to wear one now and I’m 21 it’s not right to shame someone for wearing too little or too much you need to let people do what makes them comfortable! Also Marley In recovery from an eating disorder at that point! So sorry for the misspelling I’m sure it’s there LOL
I was kind of pissed about the episode with Ricky Martin because the first few episodes of gLee, they showed Mr. Schue in class being fairly competent at speaking Spanish. He was at least conversational (which for many schools is impressive) then magically not know even the simplest words in Spanish by season 3 or 4.
Sue was right, Mr Schue needs to find some adult friends.
