We don't follow/keep the Ten Commandments. We do however, basically do the same thing they say because we love God. There's at least more than a nominal difference.
The third use of the law in the Christians life. John Calvin said this was the principle use as an instrument to learn God's will. A denial of the third use of the law is a stepping stone to Antinomianism. Some who deny the third use of the law reject the application of 1 John 1:9 prayer of confession. And some also reject that God chastises the believer. We can't use the law to justify ourselves but we can use it as a guide for Christian living.
We don't folllow the commandments because we are dead to the law. We are complete in Christ. Just like what Paul said in Galatians, "“This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?” Glataians 3:2-3.
Yes, David is right, we don't follow the commandments because they have no bearing on our salvation or the christian walk. We are saved by faith, we walk by faith.
We rest in Christ and we enjoy the liberty we have in Him. Don't make Him to be a hard taskmaster.

The moral law never went anywhere, christ fulfilled it and kept it but I imagine you know more than him, even the unregenerate uphold a measure of morals how much more should we? Don't make God a task master, that's all you got? So I'm assuming obedience to the word and God's will aren't part of your lifestyle, in fact if I followed you around for a weak would I know your saved? How would I know? If I said show me your faith, what would your response be since it's forensic? No law, everything is works including Paul's radical transformation and hell on earth lifestyle he lived in obedience I'm assuming for you?! Don't mock scripture until you at least learn it...The Ten Commandments are just that-commandments. They are not suggestions. They are every bit as requisite today as they were when God gave them to the children of Israel.”

Pleasing God is trusting Him By Faith in our walk. God is done with our flesh. God sees Christ in us. David Benjamin is saying we don't live By the law. We live by faith in the Son. You have GROSS ERROR of the word. You're like the prodigal son's Brother..working in the field Angry.
