Very good explanation 👍I wanted to try a cvt on mine when i first got it but it doesn't work with my mount, ive still got the death row transmission just sitting around. One thing to add is that, if you get the mount from ghettobike or ebay which is available now, then they include a jackshaft to use a centrifugal clutch.
@@a.m.bgarage.everydayprojec9665 I'm glad you're making that video, info about 212 bikes is somewhat scarce and a lot of people have strong misconceptions about them
Do you know if the death row transmission comes with a 415 sprocket to drive the back wheel? I believe the standard CVTs come with a 41 or 420 sprocket

Yeah. I should have added that, but I plan on completely going over the 212 bike and an in-depth build guide, so ill include that info in that video.

@@wesh388 yes. Death row comes with a 415 chain. I recommend using a 415h chain.
@@a.m.bgarage.everydayprojec9665 awesome, thanks! Just ordered a gold regina racing chain
@@a.m.bgarage.everydayprojec9665 i dont...415 falls apart too easy...i use 420 and it works great!
I wonder if we can try putting a moped cvt on a motorized bike
@@thegreatkrimpus6139 the 30 series CVT like what is shown in the video is easier and gives much better performance
@@a.m.bgarage.everydayprojec9665 fair enough
