great vid i have a 2014 f10 535 and was wondering about spacer sizes. this vid helped me decide the proper size. my only question is...im running stock suspension, is your car running stock suspension? if not will those sizes affect my stock suspension and maybe rub? thanks in advance
Thanks for the video y’all, gonna install mine tomorrow morning. Also curious as to where you purchased your dual slat grills from? Looking to buy some better quality ones.
Great video, looking at spacers right now for my 2007 BMW 530i, what size wheels and tires you running now with the spacers? Just bought ESR SR12 18 X 8.5 front and 18 X 9.5 rear 5X120 35/40 wheels and 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 on rear tires. Wondering if I could use same side wheel spacers you installed. I haven't lowered the car yet, just trying to get an idea. Thanks...
In the future you don’t need that much antisieze and you want it inside the cone part also. Good video but then music the entire time was extremely annoying. Did you get any rubbing after these? I have lowered neo max coil overs I’m afraid of rubbing if I use these spacers on mine
@@ThicGarage a little more CAN hurt when the rotor heats up and spins it all over your brake pad surface. Ask me how I know….. you didn’t use that much excess however. Just wanted to make note. I like to drive pretty aggressive with my 550 and have fun. Just want to make sure they are safe all around. Have you had any problems or issues since installing your spacers?
I think as long as as your purchasing quality spacers like the burger tuning, you should be fine. We sold the car and bought an R8 so as far as longevity of the spacers I would not know. I know others have had their spacers for years without issues .
@@ThicGarage I went with 20mm rear and 12mm front and it looked great. If anything I could have gone with 10mm front. I sold that car and now have a 2013 335i e55 n93 and want to do the same thing. Just need to figure size out.
I have a 2014 bmw 550i xdrive msport, do i need 12mm on the front and back or do i need the same sizes you used? I think the all wheel drive uses the same size all around...
I bought these initially but was told these would vibrate with this size spacers SMH I was conflicted so returned them for 5mm I’m waiting for them to come in any issues since installing?
Odd that you recommended the spacers. Most folks on UA-cam and engineers agree that spacers are bad for any vehicle. Simply because these wear bearing down so quickly. Thus look not worth the cost down the road.
@@ThicGarage . I just purchased a 15 535i xdrive and was thinking of getting the 10mm for front and 15mm for rears since I have the 19s M sport wheels. I believe you have the 18s M sport wheels correct? Plus I hope it's not too much for the offset as I feel 10mm and 12mm wouldn't be that much different so I'm going for the 10mm front and 15mm rears.
I don't understand the usefulness of putting grease between the spacer and the wheel hub! It only serves to accumulate dirt. It is sufficient to clean the support surfaces thoroughly. In addition, the BMW alloy wheel nuts must be tightened with a torque wrench at 120Nm, not like you did with the bolt splitting tool !!
I don't know why the dislikes, this is one of the few videos that show exactly how to put spacers on. Good job, mate!
Just haters.
I was wondering if getting spacers cause your tires to wear faster?
Looks great! Is there a reason the spacers are staggered with smaller up front & larger rear
Does your car Vibrate or starts shaking at high speed with those spacer’s?
Hi, what width and et are your wheels?
Came out great guys! I'll have to add these to my list

Thank you! I have coilovers that lowered the car about 2” and still don’t rub
@@ThicGarage you have a link for the coilovers you used...I also have 2014 F10 535 and wanna lower it about 2''?
Thanks! i was actually looking at spacers and wasn't sure which ones to get, mines a 2013 535 and the fitment is horrible lmao
Ordering mine’s this week. Thanks!
Sorry if this was asked before, is there any rubbing up front while turning or in the rear on bumps?
Nothing rubbed

Thank you! The links for all our mods should be listed in the description below.
Good job is your xdrive?
It was we recently sold and bought our first supercar
Now that you installed them do ya think you ordered the perfect size if not what size would you order fora real aggressive stance??
Yes I think they are perfect but that’s just my opinion. Love the stance but others may want wider.
hi i saw someone run 10mm and youre running 12mm. Looking to get a straight fit what’s your suggestion? I have a RWD 535i
I like the 12mm myself

Did you find it harder to remove the bolts with the spacers on? I am finding it harder to remove the bolts even at 103ftlb

Just got to end of video where you said you lowered yours also. Yea curious if you have any rub issues
A little more doesn’t hurt. No rub issues with neomax coilovers on our set up.

Great job you made look so simple thanks.
I ordered my spacers the other day waiting to pit them on
I want that front lip you have but I can’t find it anywhere for a 2015 f10 Msport 😢

Awd or rwd ?
AWD
ThicGarage thanks to you I just ordered these last night
Does it vibrate on the highway?
Nope
Crazy I’ve never seen lug nuts that look like that.

Hey man!
Any idea if 20mm spacers fit on the rear or would they rub?
Stock suspension with same wheels?
They would definitely rub. I’m cutting it close with 15
@@ThicGaragethanks for the reply. You saved me some 💰 and headache!
Will be buying some 15mm. 👍
@@ThicGarage So if you have 15 in back it won't rub if u have passangers in back?
Would 15mm fit good in the back i have a 20inch wheel .
Did you find the spacers lessen the wheel well gap a little?
I don’t think it physically lessens the gap size but bringing out the tire allows the gap size to stand out more to the eye.
I have a 2011 BMW328i N93 I was told I could fit 18mm rear and 15mm front without rub. Thoughts
Burger Tuning is what I have as well
Yes that size works as well

Would these be fine for an 08 sedan 335. And is the alignment issue from the spacers or was an alignment just needed ?
They have different widths depending on your preference. Alignment needed because we lowered the car.

I have 12 in front and 15 on rear.
What do the spacers do?...make the tire stick out?
Yes. Gives a better stance and also improves handling a bit.
Do spacers add performance to the car ?
Not really maybe very little since it gives you a little wider stance. gives it a better look though.
Considering 15mm all around
I just ordered mine
I bought these initially but was told these would vibrate with this size spacers SMH I was conflicted so returned them for 5mm I’m waiting for them to come in any issues since installing?
Never heard that on burger tuning spacers. I haven’t had any issues
hi can you tell me what the measurement from wheel to inside fender was to determine what size spacer for the rears was, please,
Like a half and inch. I went with 15mm spacers on rear
I have a 2012 535i and the front in a bit too much can I just add spacers to the front only?
I don’t see why you couldn’t
I have a 550i what are the spacers for?
Give it a more aggressive look and a little bit of better handling
What is your tire size.
245/40/19 all the way around
