My name was picked in the H-1B lottery, and my employer submitted my petition on June 30. However, they have not shared the receipt number due to company policy, and they mentioned that the petition is still in the processing stage. So, my question is: Will my H-1B be approved? How long will it take? Because I don't have a relevant educational background, nor do I have 12 years of experience in order to qualify for the H-1B, what are the chances that my H-1B will be selected? Thank you!

You don’t need client details for lottery. Petition is filed after getting selected in lottery. % of selection is very subjective, depends on employer, documentation, your performance etc.

Hello, does my employer have to do anything before March 1, 2023 when the application window opens. They will surely ask for my documents required for application. But other than that is there any other formality: I read somewhere that the employer has to create an H1B registration account online by Feb 22 (Is it the employer account that is same for all the applicants sponsored by that employer or does the employer has to create this H1B registrant account for each applicant they are sponsoring by Feb 22). Hi my son has F1 visa mba and the OPT will end in February 2023, his employer agrees to proceed with the h1b visa. Does he apply for a transfer of status or he must leave USA and go through the embassy?
As I assume he is going for 1st time H1B. It means he needs to go for H1B lottery first. When selected his employer will file a COS. If COS is approved he doesn’t need to go for stamping until he travels out of USA

Gap after graduation may not be a big concern but having a non IT degree and working in IT is a big concern. Sometimes they will ask you to prove how your education is relevant to your work. So be prepared for that. It doesn’t matter how much experience you have.

The lottery has not yet started. The result of lottery will be out by March end. You can update the aadhar by then. Even if not updated it’s not going to cause any problem when they start your H1B processing if you get selected in lottery.

There were several slots open for January and Feb. expecting another big opening soon. But you need to find out who is responsible for booking your slot. You or your employer? You need to fill up the ds 160 first, pay the visa fees and then you can book the slot. Check with your employer!
Hello Pragnya, My company applied for H1B last year and everything went well and visa stamping got done in December 2022 due to uncertainty my employer is delaying my travel like may be in March 2023 he will confirm on the travel not sure when it will be 1. Should I stay here and wait for the opportunity as it was full time and little safe 2. Choose a consultancy and work with them to get a offer and shift the company Is option 2 legal and is there any chance of H1B getting revoked ??
Option 2 is not fully legal or fully illegal. But the problem is the job market currently. As you must be aware more than 80000 H1B and l1 holders are currently in US looking for jobs after job loss. So for someone coming to US for the first time on H1B, getting a job after coming I going to be very very difficult. I would suggest go with option 1 for the time being. At least wait until the firing rally comes to an end.

Not necessarily! Once petition is filed it takes about 4 months for approval. Then you can book your appointment for interview.

Can we get a job offer after March 1 and the employer registers us?
Or they must have registered our name before March 1
The registration deadline is March 1 to March 17. So if you get an offer even within this time frame and they register you, it’s fine.
