Ma'am, my international passport will expire next year, July 2024. I'm planning to apply for my visa. Do I need to get a new passport that will cover 3 years of my H1b duration, or is my current passport, which is still valid for 11 months , sufficient for visa application?.
You can definitely go with current passport but you will have to eventually renew so I would recommend renewing first and then getting visa for a hassle free experience
This type of h1b is very appealing but many places even with such good work experiences of individual they pay 60k per year which literally poverty with current inflation and prices. It seems like there is no room for negotiation of salary either

That's absolutely a wrong information about minimum wage. Nowhere it is mentioned a specific wage for all H1-B cap exempt jobs. It all depends on the Job position and the job role. We've never mentioned specific wages. We've mentioned "minimum wage". The source is a DOL fact sheet which is also linked in the description. Yes. You can maintain your PD but if you ever move to a cap subject employer from a cap exempt employer you have to go through the h1b lottery.
