The Kicker was i was thinking “what If There is a lockdown Tomorrow” NOT EVEN JOKING AND THEN THAT DAMN ALARM CAME ON AND WE WERE SITTING ON THE CRUSTY FLOOR FOR 45 MINUTES 😭 Luckily no one got hurt cause it was only a threat, except for a teacher that had an unrelated medical issue 🫠
wow that sucks that they didn't tell you it was a drill; i'm sorry that happened to you; the point of a drill is to keep you safe and make you feel safe
you people have weird drills, where i live they always tell us if its a drill or not mainly because our drills are more about rocket bombings and so the kids must know what is happening as of my country's (Israel) law on public deceit. now we have a war in our country but i remember when it started, i was at home and heard the rocket alarm, i thought it came from a drill in a middle school that is just a couple buildings away from me. i tried to think if the authorities told us of a drill that they are doing in the middle school (since they have to tell everyone in a radius from that middle school and i was in that area), i saw a notification on my phone from the red alarm app (we have an app to tell us if rockets are headed our way which sends us an additional alarm). and so i went to the safe room. thankfully iron dome stopped all the rockets that were in the area around my large town and no one in my town was hurt. It was only after that when i opened TV and saw the devastation that occurred on that day, still cant believe what had happened.
meanwhile students in myanamr afraid of getting bomb by literal russian made fighter jets shooting guided missles and and the allience using drone drop bombs💀
School drills shouldn't be a thing! I worked in a school for a year, schools are suppose to be a safe place for children and adults, not be scared of your safety or from other students unfair behavior. And the parents expects that the children are in good safe hands, it sadness me when its the opposite. Bullies, drills, racism etc. Even when you come between them, you can never really protect everyone from everything all the time :( "to make the world better place, we all need to learn how to love each others"

I worked in a school for a year, schools are suppose to be a safe place for children and adults, not be scared of your safety or from other students unfair behavior. And the parents expects that the children are in good safe hands, it sadness me when its the opposite.
