    Cake and a flan together? How do you do that, you say? Watch to find out!
    Yields: 1 9inch cake (use at least 3 inches tall cake tin)
    Baking Temp 350 DF
    Baking Time: 60 mins.
    Ingredients:
    Caramel:
    200g white sugar
    60ml water
    Flan:
    6 large eggs
    1 large can of evaporated milk /370ml
    1 large can of condensed milk/ 300 ml
    1tsp vanilla
    Cake:
    6 egg yolk
    100g white sugar
    60ml water
    60ml full cream milk
    1tsp vanilla extract
    192g all purpose flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    Meringue:
    6 egg whites
    ¼ tsp cream of tartar
    100g while sugar

    treats with jenny i made ur cutard cake but the cake did not come out well cooked the flan was goog n the height of the flan was taller than the cake n when i inverted it upside down the next day from ref it came out but the sugar caramel was soaked the cake little what i use is a six inch tray 2 n half height n made the same proportion of things added some from both n threw the resr when i slice it finally the cake was sticking on the knife please advice me

    It's still wobbly after an hour but the toothpick comes out clean already. Is that the right texture/feel?

      How wobbly? If the temp and length of time is right, it should be good. But u hv to let it cool otherwise the flan may fall apart. How did it go?

      Same here. Tried doing it today
      Made sure every measurement, baking time and temp are correct as suggested but mine was still jiggly. I extended the baking time for 20 more mins. And the first 1 that I bake, I need to put it back in the oven since though it cooled down already, the flan is still jiggly (cake break is cooked anyway)...

      No cups,she just pour the whole of the cans of those milk,and no sugar added it..
      1 cans of Condensed Milk
      1 cans of Evaporated Milk
      6 eggs
      Enough fr one flan,the sweetness is just nice👍
      Trust me,I make this recipes many2 of time,I use the same recipes..
      Without the cake also so delicious,dear👍👍💖💖

    I hope you will use cups and tablespoons/teaspoons instead of grams or ml so that we don't need to use a converter. I baked this cake today and I am quite disappointed with its taste. Perhaps, you meant this for those with diabetes.

      rebecca agnes Guzman hi Rebecca. Using grams is actually much more accurate and yields more consistent result. Its unfortunate you didnt like the taste.

      Yes you can skip it. It helps stabilize the egg but you can get away without them. To help you find them, they’re normally along the baking aisle of supermarket, or sometimes in the seasoning section. :)

    Why not list the ingredients with exact measurements-how large a can of evaporated milk, how much vanilla? Did I miss tall hat somehow? And why use such a small plate to unmold?

    Dapat ineng may quantity ka sa bawat ingredients not just an instruction. How much is cream of tartar baking soda flour. Ganun. Di detalyado kase ok na sana.
