How to apply a raised stencil on furniture

- In this video I explain how you can apply a raised stencil on furniture, and how to paint it using a dry brushing technique.
Products used on this project:
- French linen from Annie Sloan
- Old White from Annie Sloan
- Clear wax from Annie Sloan
- Motip Deco Spray paint RAL 9005
- Perfax Wood putty

I love your work, and tutorial as I am attempting a raised stencil to an 80's oak sideboard. I picked a stencil that has a modern look to it, to change the style to a more contemporary look. I also added modern legs to the straight bottom. I am at the stage where my stencil is ready to sand. Wish me luck!

I love this effect. I am just waiting for that beautiful stencil to arrive. I'm wondering, would white wax have a similar effect?
Thank you so much! You could definitely use white wax instead of doing the dry brushing technique. The only difference would be that the white wax will stay in the lower parts, where my white paint is sitting on the higher (raised) parts. But it will look great too! 😍

your and technique are sooo BEAUTIFUL TY! However,the music is awful and nerve racking I am sorry no disrespect but next to lighting music is IMPORTANT ! It should belie lighting, ambient- Id love to watch you more but would have to mute and turn on subtitles I just resolved the issue sorry your amazing at what you do the passion is palpable
