If you guys are Interested let me know what modifications you want to see done and tested on the Nürburgring. Since many seem interested here are some more informations: The battery charge was just above 80% at the beginning of the lap. The Car had less than a 1000km (600miles) on the clock, thats why i tried to be gentle on the brakes and often lifted early to use more generative braking. Also on a lot of the fast uphill section i did not go flat out, to give the battery and tyres some cooling done time to allow me to go for a more fun second and third lap.
If you go when it's not rainy and the road is hot, youll have significantly more grip on the race track. Also, you'll have significantly less grip when it's rainy on a racetrack compared to a normal road. I think you'll be significantly faster on a sun shining day.
oh interesting i thought it was only for the model 3. I do miss throwing my model 3 sideways around roundabouts. not sure if i am man enough to use it on the ring
@@TopSpeedBrothers I remember seeing a video of them testing the party box for the y on UA-cam. It is strange though that the product is not listed for sale yet. If you can just use it to dial down the traction control you can probably save a lot of rear brakes and gain some exit speed
Yes the track ode is annoying I actually sold the car because of it and then they release the track mode. I just had one day with the track ode video coming soon
Build quality isn’t as good as my previous m3p from china. And some parts for example the hood don’t feel very solid. But I will make a video about it because many people seem quite interested. Anything you want to know specifically? So I can put it in the video
Thanks for your feedback. I will try in the future but on that day with it all being new to me I was not able to put together a sentence that makes sense and drive the ring. I will make a future video where I give my commentary about how the car is on a track. Also check out my latest video there I talk a bit about the model y vs the model 3 also the video is only 3 min so no excuses to not watch it fully 😉
@Top Speed Brothers ahh. Yeah thats true. What I found to help me out with fixing that left foot issue is by learning how to fly airplanes since the left foot is used a lot more than people think.
Also, some cars are easier than others the Tesla I find to be on he harder side. Maybe learning how to fly isnt the cheapest way to learn how to let food brake. haha
Not quite as fast as a m3p but it can’t do 250 (155mph)at every battery. my previous m3p wasn’t able to go over 230-240 (145-150mph) at lower charge levels
When I get out of the vehicle after this kind of driving, I smell a very strong smell of burning plastic. It doesn't smell like brake pads. It worries me very much. It does not come on while in the vehicle or while driving. Frankly, this gives me some relief. But when I stop, I can wait with a fire extinguisher in my hand. What's this smell! I hope this is a kind of break-in for this vehicle.
3:58 Because of the electric motor windings being encased in a non carbon sleeve which causes case expansion at high revolutions and thus the resulting decrease in power output, current Telsa Model Y will always be dogs at high speeds. I have a 2022 MYPerformance and love it despite that.
@@letsgobrandon5800 well, yes😂, but the real top speed of the model S plaid is 280(for now, they are going to unlock it later to 320) So for now the Cayenne turbo s is faster on the autobahn:)
@@victorc.979 Top speed is academic anymore on the autobahn. I've driven it and unless you're in an approved area and many are no longer and can do so early morning. will it overheat and go to safe mode if you drive it to the max?
No it won’t go into limb mode. It just pulls power but you will still be fast enough to keep up with most cars
Nice in black
Was it fun?

Haha very true, maybe I’m just overthinking it than. Speedo is in km/h maybe in a plaid you could make mph look like km/h
I enjoyed it 👍
Thank you Gabriel
good video!! but all the cars of tesla(accept PLAID) acceleration in over 100km is pretty shame. i hope it would be got faster via OTA
What car was that last one ?
Why didn't you left foot brake? It would've helped a ton with the unstability
It does when done right otherwise it brings a lot of instability into the car. do not have the sensitivity in my left food to get it just right

Gbt's noch keinen Track-Mode für das Model Y Performance?
Only in America
leider nicht. wobei das ESP schon recht sportlich ist, aber driften wie beim Model 3 geht nicht.
Doing +200kmh on the autobahn but not on the race track !?!
Easy, with balls that big enough to go 200+ I would not be able to sit comfortable in the car
I saw 155 mph there at about 10:55, most impressive for a small SUV.

what about the range with such top speed on the autobhan?
Realistically 150km on the Autobahn and 100km on a Racetrack
